Right. Big names of players will not be able to influence at all if there is no winning mentality for the players if teamwork is not built. This has happened to Cristiano Ronaldo when he joined from Real Madrid to Manchester United. He looks like an ordinary player because the other players he plays with can't understand his style of play.
It is a very visible difference where Cristiano Ronaldo was able to perform very successfully when he was at Real Madrid because the cooperation of the players was always very solid and very complete. And that is something that is not in the Manchester United team at this time so that the ability and talent of Cristiano Ronaldo seems to sink by itself, despite his age which is not young anymore.
Those on the team are not good at taking advantage of the advantages possessed by a Cristiano Ronaldo. At Manchester United they play individually and it doesn't look like the team game they should be playing. I can't believe that they play like that, are they afraid of losing out to other players? If they lower their selfishness a little, I'm sure they can be better than what they showed last season.

So - Spurs got Bissouma for 25 million pounds. A really good signing in my opinion, I always considered him underrated.

They are still looking for a right wing-back, centre back and an additional offensive player - if they bring enough quality there they will be my favorites for top 4 spot again next season - in front of Arsenal and United.

That's true , Ronaldo will be good to be appointed the captain of Manchester United but since he won't be in the club for long it won't work out. Whosoever  Manchester United want to make the captain it should be one who will be able to do it well, a captain who can bring everyone along to strengthen the team, this will make them to perform very well at the end of every game.
Ronaldo captain role in United will fit him since he has a experience in both EPL and UEFEA at at large. He's the perfect man for the job and he will definitely suits him as he will dictate the play pattern of united. Erik Ten Hag should give Captaincy to one that is fully fits to play full-time and able to absorbed when under pressure. Ronaldo will deliver united season because new boss, New pattern and new achievements. I hope the team will be strong next season without having a critical problem next season.

Lucas Torreira is not happy for Fiorentina as the team fail to triggered the buy option for the Uruguayan. The fiorentina team board have no agreement with the Gunners to pay a €15m bid in other to retain him permanently in the club, seems the Uruguayan didn't play his card well when at Fiorentina. The big question is will Mikel Arteta be happy to see him or include him in his project for next season. The 26 year old will fight for his place in Arsenal if he definitely arrive in the team.

Ronaldo can be appointed as the new captain of Manchester United, but he is not the best choice for long-term captain because his time with Manchester United is not long. Ten Hag should try to put faith in Ronaldo, as he is capable of leading his team-mates on the pitch and is very influential in the dressing room. De Gea can be trusted as vice-captain, when Ronaldo is not on the field, De Gea will take his place as captain.

What I realized is that Ronaldo is a captain wherever he is, Ronaldo can always have an influence on the team so that even though Ronaldo doesn't wear the captain's armband, basically Ronaldo has become a captain in the team. Furthermore, other players must be able to adjust how they play with Ronaldo, because when they understand each other with a finisher then I am sure their game will be better and there is not always a selfish attitude in scoring goals unless the chances they have are better.

Reportedly Man United want to strengthen their midfield by signing Frenkie De Jong.
Man united are aware their midfield is in trouble so Ten Hag is eager to bring in De Jong. But I heard that Barcelona is not yet willing to take it off at a price of 60 million euros. Then Man United added up to 70 million euros. But to date there has been no official decision from Barcelona.
It seems that Barcelona took advantage of this moment to earn money. They tried to shut down the financial crisis that hit them which caused some players to leave and some players to get pay cuts. We see the transfer season is still a little long.

There’s a new negotiation on now and Barcelona wants €100m for Frankie De Jong, €80m guaranteed fee. This is stalling progress. I think they know Manchester United financial capacity that’s why they’re increasing the fee because they want to raise funds and lower their wage bill, with the club still struggling financially. It’s unfortunate that Erik ten Hag is hoping to guide Manchester United back to their former glory days and he's looking to bring in some familiar faces to help him, if not I don’t see why Manchester United will want to spend that heavy on just one player when they have many leaking positions that are yet to be fixed in the team.

Premier League next season will be more interesting. In addition to competing with great coaches, there will also be proving the quality of the game for great players. Haaland and Nunez are new players who will play in the Premier League, we will see whether it is worth it or not between their quality and price.
The transfer window is still long and it is likely that many more famous players will come to Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Not really about great coach but also most interested of Primer League next season because have new central forward with expensive values transfer, Manchester City have new central forward after Erling Haaland arrived and Liverpool success get Darwin Núñez from Benfica. Lets watching and waiting about how great career for both central forward for the first time trying with Primer League and I think will they have good season with their each club or can't full contribution how to make their team keep on the top standing. Between Erling Haaland and Darwin Núñez as ost scoring goals for his previous club.
Maybe you can understand what I mean that in addition to proving a great coach, we will also witness the proving of great players in their respective clubs who were bought at fantastic prices. Players like Haaland, Darwin Nunez and Perisic at Tottenham we will see how they perform in the Premier League. Who knows they failed to shine in England. The Premier League has always been a league of great interest to great players because of the incredible challenges.

It would be better that way but what I see now what United need at the moment is not a famous player but something that can lift their spirit and performance.
Players who have big names will have no effect when their mentality and performance are not lifted properly and last season should be proof that big names like Ronaldo are struggling there too.

Vincent Kompanie's move to Burnley, Frankly, is no good news to me,  still yet to understand in what way he'll improve Burnley.
They have always been a defending side, know for high tackle's and fouling of opposing player's and team. For myself, I still see the former Manchester City Captain and Ex- Belgium international as another defending Coach, I'm just curious as a lot is playing through my mind and head. I hope thru don't regret making decisions, Improvement on the budget for player's wouldn't have been during Sean Dyche as head coach of Burnley.

Honestly, I'm a fat liar if ain't tired with every single news resulting from Manchester United. It's been a tough, rough and pathetic seasons after the Gafa, Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United. Should he get new player's or work on the once around ? Wanting to buy players that are not ready to fight for the club in the bad day's is not worth making moves for, also, not worth splashing such a huge cash on.
I'm just trying hard not too but, it does bothers me every now and then. I wish them ( Manchester United well ) in the coming Campaign and Season, I'm gonna be down for Tottenham Hotspur winning the Premier league next season.

Golden era for Manchester United probably for class 92' at that time if i'm not mistaken Erick Cantona is the captain and the next after him is Roy Keane and Ryan Giggs so in the golden era under Ferguson Manchester United had charismatic captain who can bringing this team get many of trophies and currently Manchester United don't have the captain such as them and indeed Ronaldo can be suitable in that position but his contract is almost expired next season with no certain future so i'm not sure Ten Hag will choose him as the next captain especially for long term
Still, I think for 1 year this season is worth a try because right now who can manage the players on the pitch, especially with their current condition.
Maybe it's true in this case Ronaldo and De Gea have chances but the problem is De Gea is not enough to keep his team-mates I think and Ronaldo still has that authority. Even if it's a season I think it can still be tried while looking at the next captain candidate.

It is indeed a goodnews having legendary Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany returning back to England on a managerial career and being appointed by just relegated club Burnley. It is a good step in his career and we hope to see good things and improvements in the Burnley team next season.
Someday I hope Vincent will return to Manchester City with a position in their staff team (coach assistant, something like that). He deserves to be here one more time, with an important position in the club. Maybe he does not want to return now because he want to learn new things in his management career and would like to return when he get enough experience as a coach.

Vincent Company was a very solid and hardworking defender then at Man City, I was very impressed with how fast he took up the managerial position of a club and the pace at which he became a manager after his retirement in May 2019, thereafter became Anderlecht player-manager, this is just in a three period, it's a good news that he was appointed Burnley new manager, I hope he will use his wealth of experience to return the club back to premier league after being relegated, lot of ex EPL players taking up managerial role now just like Lampard, Rooney, Veira e.t.c.
Vincent Kompany is one of the very early 'star' players who joined Manchester City when their new era started. Together with Robinho, Santa Cruz, Shaun Wright Phillips, etc. but amongst those players, Kompany is the best and has very long career in Etihad stadium. He is one of first foundations for Manchester City success last decade.

When he joined them, he was just a young talented player but when he left, he was a legend.

That's what I'm asking, op says that Cristiano Ronaldo was captain in the golden era of Manchester United.
In the golden era of Manchester United, there were many people who deserved to be captain of the club, and I think that also formed the Cristiano Ronaldo we see today. Ronaldo's mentality was shaped at Manchester United and perfected when he was in Real Madrid's uniform.

Good news for manchester city former defender and Captain, Vincent Company after been appointed as Burnley New manager. Although Kompany have been on the rader of Burnley since May and the newly relegated side thinks now is the time to finalize everything with the Experience Player. Kompany who made 360 apps for his club Manchester city and recorded achievements of 12 trophies including 4 EPL titles. Perhaps he left the team when he ran out of contract and went back to Belgium in 2019 where he was giving a managerial career in Anderlecht.

I started to think that Manchester United won't manage to finish the Frenkie de Jong deal successfully. Because they're still far below the level that Barcelona would like now. Barcelona still want a sum like 85m euros and there is a significant gap between that amount and the one Manchester United offered last. Manchester United absolutely need a midfielder now so maybe they can say ok at the end.
If I were Manchester United, I will not agree to that deal. Does Barcelona want to use Manchester United to pay their debts?
I do not fancy the idea of buying any midfielder costly than 50M to Manchester United.
If the club actually need to rebuild, they should buy not overrated players like 3 for the same position and make them fight for shirt. Not to buy someone who will come thinking his position is secured. Manchester United problem is not to get great players, but to avoid lazy players.
The mind wins the match before the feet. The likes of Pogba and Lingard really breaded laziness and unseriousness to the team.

Man United has indeed lost quite a number of midfielders this year, such as Pogba, Juan Mata, Lingard and Matic are confirmed to leave Man United.
So it's only natural that Ten Hag is more focused on signing midfield players, the problem is like you said Barcelona can't possibly release
Frenkie de Jong for a cheap price. Because apart from Barcelona really needing money, De Jong also has an extraordinary performance,
so De Jong deserves a high price. Even though it's really a pity if Barcelona sells De Jong, because his contribution is quite large for Barcelona.
But indeed Barcelona's position is quite difficult right now with Barcelona's financial condition is worrying. So it's possible that Barcelona will sell
De Jong to Man United, it's just a matter of time to find an agreement on the transfer price.
Manchester United really needs to bring some quality midfielders that can handle the team and bring out the fan expectation. Manchester United is really at a poor state right now they need midfielders that can settle and control the team pattern of play, to bring back the team to it normal stand. De Jong will really be of a good help to the team, he is a experience midfielder, and also a classic footballer. Though Barcelona can't sell him at a lower late, cause they really need him at their team but due to their recent problems they might negotiate for him to bring in some young players that can help the teams future.

The EPL is a very competitive league where no one particular team dominates every season. In other to make it up to top 6 to play European competitions you have to ensure balance in the team and keep consistently performances. Chelsea and Arsenal fc were a lot shaky at the last weeks of the season and really need to put in work to do better next season
Which league are you talking about? EPL has been dominated by City for nearly 5 years now, and Liverpool is right there as well, they won one in the middle there. I mean I am not saying that there is no competition, of course there is one, for each spot, but domination is there as well. I believe it was last year, for one point City went 20 games winning streak right?

I am not entirely sure how many games it was, maybe more than 20, but they dominated EVERYONE at that point. This is why I highly doubt that anyone else would say that EPL doesn't have any domination, there are many proofs that City is dominating it and there are barely any competitions to them, maybe LFC time to time.

Lukaku is a prolific striker he is world class and has shown that over the years at Chelsea, Everton, Manchester united and Inter Milan. His current drop in form last season came as a shock because he started well at the beginning of the season and dropped form.  In my opinion he was more valued back in Inter Milan, this had positive effect on his performance and if he decides to go back he will definitely pick up again from where he left off.
It's not all about being valued or not,the fact is that premier league is more complicated than any other league in the world, this is the reasons why most players don't prefer going to the premier league. It is more combative and only people who have determined to fight it hard can come to premier league and excel.Lukaku Was doing very well at Inter, but he came to premier league and saw a different thing altogether. The defenders here are very rough and phisically strong which makes most strikers that were doing well in other leagues flop when they come to the premier league.
