In terms of squad quality, I personally assume they actually deserve to play in UCL although their mentality may be not ready yet. The problem is a distinct lack of depth in the Arsenal squad. The starting XI is blessed enough to compete for a top-four place; had Tierney and Partey been available then the season climax may have transpired differently.
Not only about the gap quality between main players and substitution, they really need more experienced/top players.
