Good decision by klopp to start minamino against southhampton when he was feeling less pressure than others being his former club and he showed exactly what he needed to do today. He definitely deserves to play more games, impressive performer.
Liferpol made a massive rotation against Southampton last night, from defender, midfielder to attacking player, but Jorgen Klopp's rotation found a very good ending, able to control the game up to 70%, and managed to take home 3 points, when the schedule was tight, at here we see the tactics of a great coach, capable of delivering a big surprise, the competition is only one game left, I hope Manchester city stumbles against Aston villa.

So it all comes down to the final game. Man City obviously huge favourites, but they showed signs of weakness in their last game. If Liverpool win, then Man City need to win... a draw isn't good enough. Does this make them vulnerable? Can Villa sit back and try to catch them on the break and get an unlikely win? It seems improbable, but the chance is there.

I think, Manchester city will not allow what happened between them and Real Madrid in champion league semi final to happen in this premier league because they are well prepared to embrace victory in the remaining matches. It will be difficult for any team to defeat Manchester city in this period because their keeper and defenders has realized their mistakes in their past matches, never to allow such thing to happen in the semi or final. Manchester city will defeat Villarreal 4-1 for the favour of Manchester city because they will really prove to people that this season premiere league title is for them.

You can not compare West Ham to Aston Villa, West Ham vie for Europa League or Europa Conference League unlike Aston Villa that has nothing to vie for and not also planning to leave relegation and not among the relegating team.
It's certainly a valid point that Villa have nothing left to play for, yes. But I suppose that could work both ways - there's no pressure on them, and that can often free a team up to play better.
My point wasn't really about West Ham playing well though, it was more about Man City starting to show some nerves and be less good than they usually are. West Ham are better than Villa, but you'd normally expect Man City to beat both of them easily. The fact that they struggled against West Ham means they might struggle again in the next game, even if the opposition is not quite so good.

I don't want to call any team in the Premier League weak. They often surprise everyone by winning against big teams. However, Manchester City's performance against Aston Villa is very good. The city has won the last 5 matches against Villa. So naturally we think that Manchester City will win. However, if the players of Manchester City make any mistake, the players of Aston Villa will take the opportunity very well. And so Manchester City defenders have to perform very carefully.

The main thing right now is the Manchester City and Liverpool for the title race. This was the same thing that happen between Manchester United and Manchester City. I will never forget that day. But Manchester city won the premier league that year. I hope sane thing is not going to happen this year.
So what do you think about the Premier League title race between the two England Giant.Huh

Yesterday, as expected, Liverpool extended their chances of winning the English championship. The result of 1-2 does not reflect the situation on the pitch, where the visitors were definitely the better team. It is true that I support The Reds this season, but I do not believe that Manchester City will not win the last game against the average Aston Villa.

Yes, the Reds were not the better team yesterday, but in the end the narrow victory was deserved. You can see how exhausted Liverpool is after the long season. The pressure is definitely on ManCity now. They have to win against Villa, but that could be the problem. Liverpool already has a title and is in the final of the CL while ManCity can only win the Premier League. I definitely think Villa can get a draw and sometimes many crazy things happen in football.

Aston villa and West Ham united are not on same level. West Ham was at of the Europa league semi finale against Frankfurt. That was the only European cup left for them to play and they gave all they have for that cup but still didn't make it through the semi final, so right now they have nothing left but to fight to qualify for the Europa league next season. That's why it was difficult for Manchester City to have a win in that match. But to be honest Manchester city deserve the Premier league cause they also have nothing left except the premier league title..

If City draw, it's the same as a defeat. The only way that could be different is if Liverpool draw and Villa win by 7 goals... which is obviously not going to happen.

For City it's clear, if Liverpool win then City need to win. If Liverpool don't win, City are champions.
Liverpool chances of becoming the EPL champion are quite small because there is only one game left to come. Manchester City is optimistic that they will win the match against Aston Villa where this match will be played at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola will certainly press the players to be able to play well and get 3 points from Aston Villa. The magic of expecting Aston Villa to win does exist but it is impossible to happen in this decisive match.

Quotes for the result of the championship are as follows at the moment:

Premier League 2021/22 - Winner

Manchester City FC 1.14

Liverpool 5.50

I support Liverpool in this battle, but I understand that the chances are scanty. And by the way, in this situation, + 14% profit on City looks like a very generous opportunity. Do you think it makes sense to bet on such a low odds to at least slightly sweeten the unpleasant fact that City will become the champion?

Yes, at least Manchester City against Aston Villa ended in a draw and that's what I expected even though it's just a slim possibility because Manchester City are the hosts but who knows.
and Liverpool in the last game will host Wolves which I think will be a difficult opponent for Liverpool compared to Aston Villa, but I believe Liverpool will win and Manchester City will draw with Aston Villa.

I believe Steven Gerald the manager of Aston Villa will do Liverpool a favor by encouraging his players to play with full strength with determination against Aston Villa in a bid to help Liverpool win the league
Sorry about that Liverpool can only be the second.

A really nervous game again, our second team really pulled through yesterday. We had a bit of luck with the 2nd goal but their 1st one was a deflection as well - and a foul before the counterattack even started.
Why got nervous when Man City have most possiblities to win Aston Villa and win the league. The day is no more long and getting closer for Man City to win 2021/2022 EPL.

The most important thing is that we kept the pressure on City - they are still huge favorites to win that game and we still need a win against Wolves which won't be easy as well - but we are alive and that is the best we could have hoped for.

2 finals remaining in the best season I have ever witnessed as a Liverpool supporter since 1998. Yes, Istanbul will remain the best game forever and the treble season in 2001 was fantastic - but the level we are at now is unparalleled with anything before. Long may it continue.

The only miracle that could happen will be Aston Villa holding Manchester City to a draw and subject to Liverpool beating Wolves. Even an Aston Villa draw with Manchester City may not be enough as there is a six-goal deficit for the Reds to overturn.

I don't want anything hurtful to happen to Pep Guardiola and his squad but the game with Aston Villa should have been won despite this being a crucial game and also the only title to be won.
For me can't imagine if Mancity lost and Liverpool won it would be an unexpected miracle with a surprise for Liverpool fans, but it's still a big opportunity for Mancity at the moment, I'm still optimistic that I can win.
But we know anytime can change in the game.

No matter what Liverpool plays at this stage is impossible for them to take the premier league this season I guess the club should just rely on settling for the second position since Manchester City only have the premier league to clinch this season haven't lost out of the champion league.
Manchester City have indeed made the Premier League an achievement that they must get this season, but Liverpool also want to win the Premier League after several titles they have won. Liverpool are increasingly optimistic about their final game against Wolverhampton after a 1-2 win over Southampton, considering that Manchester City will play Aston Villa in their last match with Aston Villa, a club coached by former Reds player and legend, Steven Gerrard.
Even so, I personally want Manchester City to win the 2021-2022 season.
I don’t think Aston Villa stands a chance on Sunday against Manchester city. They will be playing Burnley on Thursday and three  days later travel to Etihad to play Manchester city, a team that has had a week rest. Manchester city are going to stomp them like they did Newcastle United and Wolves. The only miracle that could happen will be Aston Villa holding Manchester City to a draw and subject to Liverpool beating Wolves. Even an Aston Villa draw with Manchester City may not be enough as there is a six-goal deficit for the Reds to overturn.

Liverpool longed looked for an opening for them to capitalise on and be league champions but instead, they made the mistake far before Manchester City did and the result never mattered afterwards. Else, they would have topped by now should they not have shared points with Tottenham.
Man City and Liverpool started this season with no point, they go through difficulties because even the clubs that are relegating in EPL are not easy clubs to play with not to talk of top 10 clubs in EPL.

Also remember that Man City sheared point with West Ham too recently, if not that, Man City would have won EPL by now.

Now, with the trophy just one game away from Manchester City's trophy room and with Liverpool so tightly on its tale, Guardiola is sure to future all or majority of his first team players in the Aston Villa game, right from the first half. He won't give any room for excuses and would only get them off when the match is surely won. Liverpool have lost this one, they should focus on the champions league.
This is like Champions League for Man City, there is nothing Liverpool can do with the extra energy they are taking to next match. We all know that Man City would win.
What will determine if Liverpool will carry the League title is if Man City lose their last game and I don't think it will be possible seeing as they get to meet Aston villa. It will be a consideration for Liverpool if Aston villa manage to hold city to a draw.
It was a well deserved win for Jurgen's men and I'm sure he expected nothing less.
