Klopp, wary of burning out a squad which has played more than 60 matches this season, he decided to make nine changes to his team but they took all three points to maintain the pressure on leaders Manchester City. Although before the game, I knew that Klopp was going to start the game with his second team considering the fatigues and injuries now facing the team. It was a bit risky but Klopp trusts his squad that is why fringe players like Minamino, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Gomez and Jones have all delivered when called upon by Klopp this campaign. Also Liverpool's fantastic squad spirit is a big reason why they are still chasing the EPL and the champions league titles on a good form.
I definitely agree that Klopp way of rotating the squad is not a trouble, all of those players are almost ready for everything. Think about it this way, even the player who plays the least game, ends up playing about 5-6 games each year. So, those players are always getting some minutes, and that gets to a level where Klopp is not worried about players who are doing their best and trusted them a lot.

This is why I believe that we should be not worried about any type of squad they have because the system works with everything. Hopefully they will be a lot better next game, and then win UCL as well. Even if they win and lose the league, at least they could say they tried their best.

Liverpool lied about having 13 covid 19 cases getting 1 month break while Manchester City and Chelsea had no single break in January making Chelsea lose their first position after losing some of their players to injuries and while Liverpool players were on the beach instead of the hospital, everything came out as false and FA did nothing until now! Liverpool is heavily favored by the officials. Since taking over five years ago, Klop has spent nearly £1 billion on players.
You sound like a conspiracy theorist lunatic mate.
Wow! Such anger!!

Here’s some to start you off:
Jurgen Klopp since October 2015 - Net Spend: £132,950,000
43 Players Bought: £549,050,000
44 Players Sold: £416,100,000
(All signings in link below)
Those were all wanted out players, and most left in his first-to-second year in charge because he needed space to build his team, and some of the players he bought were sold for less than the amount they were bought for, such as Xherdan Shaqiri, who was bought for £13.5m and sold for £9m, Georginio Wijnaldum, who was bought for £25m and sold for £0m, and Marko Gruji, who was bought for £5.1m, sold for £10.5m, Stop acting as if Klopp and Pep are not buying the league with money. Tuchel spent £0m and won three trophies, three fewer than Klopp won in five years. How can someone buy 43 players in less than 7 years? Any coach would perform well with such budget and support.

There is no doubt that he has done an excellent job in leading Liverpool to their first EPL title in 30 years and bringing the club back to prominence after falling behind Chelsea and Manchester United for many years, but the truth must be said that that is what football is all about.

*19 league cups.

Also where do you get £1,000,000,000 from? It’s approx half that & he’s brought in over £400,000,000 in sales so the net spend is just over £100,000,000. That’s the difference between LFC & the likes of Man City, we run as a business, not a sports washing, state owned money laundering machine.

Back your post up with facts, not conspiracy theories.

Now it seems like a dream for Arsenal to join the Champions League group stage. They failed really hard against Newcastle which was one of the most crucial games for them. And this will definitely cost them the Champions League now. Because I think there is no way Tottenham are losing to Norwich while there is no reason for it. I know that there was no reason for Arsenal to lose to Newcastle as well. But I just don't expect the same thing from Tottenham. And Norwich are a team that have already relegated from the Premier League. So congrats to Conte's Tottenham for making it!
Now apart from they have to expect Tottenham to lose in the last game they also have to improve themselves with a foam win against Everton in the last game.
Everton's condition this time is not as bad as before but there are still many gaps there that make Arsenal should be able to win in this match. but I don't want to have high expectations because in the previous match they were also the favorite but lost in shame

What Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool went through last season though is nothing compared to this season. Last season they had loads of injuries, Klopp lost his mother to COVID-19 and he said it was the toughest season of his life. It is terrific to see Liverpool coming back and doing brilliantly after signing only one player. Klopp had to rest couple of players after that final against Chelsea

Covid-19 drama has a big impact previously on every league basically. There is many clubs that lied about the real number, others got a big hit and were forced to play with the second team and so on. I am not defending anyone but Liverpool progressed a lot, last season was catastrophic due to injuries mainly, this season was better but even City was good. There is 1 round left and may the best win the title!

Not just that they don't have a difficult game in the league nopre, although we can't be conclusive on that just yet but, Manchester City to say the least have got no other important match other than there fixtures with Aston Villa and I say that with complete neglect to there fight fir the 3rd place in the UCL. Worst case for the Aston Villa team is that, they would be meeting Manchester City in there home and as such, Pep is sure to play them with all he has got and be sure of a trophy before ending the season.

Liverpool did good to keep hope and not break fate with the trophy but, this one is gone already. They should focus on the UCL finals.
Yea I think so too, for Manchester City this last game is like a final in the K.O.-round. They will make sure not to mess it up and to win the game. Liverpool will probably get the Champions League trophy though.
It will be a pity for Liverpool to come out 2nd after such a great season, but such is life, it would be the same for Manchester City (even though they do get more hate and are less popular Wink)

I as a Liverpool supporter Gerrard's heart remains will be touched for Liverpool's victory and this is one, assistance from Aston Villa through his coach had to hold on to a draw Mancity.
It is funny how people are calling on Gerrard to help Liverpool beat City with Villa, there is nothing much Gerrard can do other than send his boys out like he does in every matchday and hope they put up a good performance, and that is the same thing he is going to do on the final game of the season when they face City, Gerrard isn't going to magically imbibe them with the needed quality to beat City, that's not possible.

Having said that, for people who want Villa to win City so Liverpool can win the league, i am sorry, that's not going to happen, City are going to be too strong for Villa on that day, and i am pretty sure there is not going to be any drama, it is going to be a straightforward win and City will be crowned champions.

Too sad for Arsenal I believe right now all hope is lost, They just didn’t give regards to there struggle, a team fighting for the right to play in the Uefa champions league should not be playing the way they did on Monday  against Newcastle and even xhaka after the match said so, the power has now shifted to Tottenham there rivals who now have their champions league dreams in there hand all they need to do is to win on the final day and every would be just work out, I strongly believe that they won’t disappoint.
Arsenal fans disappointment this season is getting stronger after Arsenal confirmed that currently 95% do not qualify for the Champions League, after a long absence from Europe biggest competition, previously they had high hopes if Arteta was able to return to making Arsenal play in the Champions League, let alone the last few weeks they were in the top 4 standings,  but the defeat to newcastle seems to have erased all hopes of arsenal fans at this time, I don't mean to underestimate arsenal, but I think it's better for arsenal if play in the european league because they will probably get a lot of balanced opponents for their, instead of playing in the champions league with the current squad, of course, arsenal is only a complement without being able to compete to become champions considering many the strong teams in the champions league next season.

Liverpool still kept their hopes up about the league title by managing to beat Southampton a day ago. Their performance was really delightful honestly and they definitely deserved that win. They are still chasing Manchester City by only one point but the time is running out for Liverpool at the same time. Because there is only one week left in the league and I don't see a difficult game ahead for Manchester City too. I believe that they will be beating Aston Villa home as well and announce their championship.

The last Premier league match of the season should determine who should be the champions of this season, the league is indeed very competitive because both Liverpool and Manchester City are capable of being the champions this season because all these teams are very good and have excellent team work.

Good decision by klopp to start minamino against southhampton when he was feeling less pressure than others being his former club and he showed exactly what he needed to do today. He definitely deserves to play more games, impressive performer.
Liferpol made a massive rotation against Southampton last night, from defender, midfielder to attacking player, but Jorgen Klopp's rotation found a very good ending, able to control the game up to 70%, and managed to take home 3 points, when the schedule was tight, at here we see the tactics of a great coach, capable of delivering a big surprise, the competition is only one game left, I hope Manchester city stumbles against Aston villa.
Jurgen Klopp gamble paid off for his team, Liverpool managed to beat Southampton while keeping their distance from Manchester City. Klopp does not want the main players to be tired or injured, because there are still other important matches that are the main focus for Klopp. In the Premier League Liverpool hope Manchester City lose to Aston Villa in order to open up opportunities for Liverpool to get the Treble Winner at the end of the season. After getting the FA Cup trophy, Liverpool still has the chance to win the Premier League and Champions League trophies.
It was a stunning performance by Liverpool. This is an important victory under pressure for Liverpool in a truly remarkable season. It's great to see that Liverpool did not panic even when it is evident that the stakes were high. They kept creating chances and finally broke Southampton down.

Man City should be cautious of Aston Villa the fact that they are not competing for any top 4 or 5th position shouldn't be taken for granted

As a matter of facts, Gerrard is coaching Aston Villa. A living legend of Liverpool has the chances to help his former club win the trophy by either winning against City or getting a draw. Thats all he has to do though, its a slim chance to actually halt City from getting 3 points but its better than 0% chance so its definitely going to be interesting

Imagine if Villa decided to hold down and goes in full defence position, City would find it hard to score a goal thus forcing a draw
Many say that Liverpool's victory for the trophy is in the hands of the Liverpool legend "Steven Gerrard" the fact is that this will help Liverpool a bit if they hold on to a draw, I always hope that happens and Steven Gerrard does his best in this last match.

I as a Liverpool supporter Gerrard's heart remains will be touched for Liverpool's victory and this is one, assistance from Aston Villa through his coach had to hold on to a draw Mancity.

Liverpool is a very consistent team, and from the start of the season they have had excellent performances in both the Champions League and the Premier League. But whether Liverpool wins the Premier League title will depend on Manchester City's performance. If Manchester City lose their next match against Aston Villa, then Liverpool has a chance to win the title. But I think Manchester City will win their next match and secure the titel.
Winning in their next match is the only way Manchester City can probably win the Premier League trophy. Otherwise, any slight mistake from them will basically result to Liverpool overtaking them. Indeed, Liverpool performance this season are quite commendable.  Although, City had chances in their game against West Ham, they were fortunate enough to get a penalty kick towards the end of the match, but Mahrez missed it. I'm looking forward to see how they plays against Aston Villa

It's hard to expect Manchester City to slip at the end of the season even if Aston Villa try to make things difficult for them during the match. I believe Liverpool should hand over the Premier League title this season to Manchester City and they should be 100% focused on winning the Champions League against Real Madrid.
It looks like Manchester City is likely to be Premier League Champion this year unless something extra happens in the last match. I don't think that Aston Villa is able to complicate their task. Still, it's on a different level. Manchester City players also understand this and realize that they almost got the cup and no excesses are practically impossible here. They are on the verge of triumph.

Liverpool's chances of winning the Premier League are still there, perhaps very slim especially as Manchester City have a home match they are very likely to devote to title celebrations. But if Manchester City fails, then the title also depends on the result of Liverpool's match against Wolves.
Theoretically, yes, the chances of Liverpool to win the Premier League are still there, but I also think that they are very small. Since the probability of Manchester City to fail is also small.

Manchester City will be the Premier League champions this season. I don't expect them to lose to Aston Villa or maybe draw. Whatever most people think about Manchester City's failure to win the Premier League title is probably just hope because they want Liverpool to win it.

When one imagines Liverpool getting help from his Legend player "Gerrard" who currently serves as Aston Villa coach, the neutrality and sportsmanship of the competition has been tarnished by it. Is that to be expected in the best leagues of today? Villa should play and try their best for their own team, not for Liverpool.
