Not only the trophy winners are getting tougher but it seems the competition for the champions league will also be getting tighter but we will see if West ham, Spurs or Arsenal will qualify?
Manchester United and Westham has the same points (51) but United has one more match than Westham.
Mathematically United has bigger chance than Westham but why do you exclude Manchester United from the competition for the champions league?
IMO, Arsenal is the most favorite one to take the last spot for the champions league because they have 2-3 more matches compared to the other competitors but there are at least 3 hard matches for Arsenal till the end of the season.
8 weeks remaining anything can change maybe Man United which I doubt can compete for the champions league.
Of course, Arsenal are definitely the favorites to enter the champions league qualification candidates, although at the end there are still big teams to deal with but Arsenal's performance is really good.
Same with Man United will also face a big team later if it can be passed then there is a possibility to enter the top 4.

It was an absolutely amazing comeback in both the match and league. Under Conte spurs will improve because when the right choice is made, a team's mentality will improve. Manchester United should also finish above West Ham United. A much better team, and a much bigger name. If you look at the quality of the individual players, it is a miracle that they have the same number of points. This is a bad season for United. Last season they came in 2nd, which was a good performance, but a team like United should always compete for the championship. But this season there hasn't been a match unfortunately. I think Ronaldo would have hoped for more.

Tottenham win against Newcastle opened up the race for the last two spots of top 4, the last matches of this season will be keenly contested among the best teams, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham will vie for those two spots, Arsenal will be on pressure to win against Crystal Palace tomorrow knowing that Tottenham had temporary taken over their spot, though with an two matches advantage, meanwhile the chances of Man Utd clinching top 4 is gone for good, they only stand a chance to play in Europa league next season which is a big blow for such a famous and popular club.

Tottenham are always know to be leaving it to little to late before making some impressive run of form, they're only above Arsenal on the table rankings by goal difference and have played 2 matches more than Arsenal.
I'm definitely tipping Arsenal to make a return back to the Uefa Champions league this season, it's been a long due one, and they've showed great character this season despite a sloppy start.

They will have tough game against Leicester and Liverpool in last week of April and first week of May so I think most probably will drop points. Anyway Arsenal still has two games so most probably we will get something out of these two matches and be back on 4th once again. I think they will come up 5th by the end. This match has proved that Tottenham players have buy into what Antonio Conte wants from them, Bentaccur is truly a genius from minute one he has the game under control and I think him and Holberg compliment each other very well, it was a five star performance every one that start did their bit even Doherty got a goal an a assist that's rare, Ben Davies was exceptional, could not tell who was the man of the match, this victory will put much pressure on arsenal who will be playing crystal palace tomorrow.

Any team can come back strongly but need to change the style of game. Firstly they should identify their mistakes and take steps to fix those mistakes. Obviously experience players matter in a game. They need to sign some good players aslo.
As we have seen from Brentford, which proves a thorough improvement and evaluation is carried out on the players. The coach Thomas Frank did make some changes that put great pressure on Chelsea until the last minute. Chelsea conceded in yesterday's gameplay has made them underestimated because no one could have expected it to end with a score of 1:4. It's quite a shame as a club that is in the top ranks.

After today's big win, Tottenham again have hopes of fighting for a ticket to the Champions League next season but must rely on Arsenal's fate. They had started it badly, improved a little, then ruined it again with successive failure and disappointing performance despite the huge spending. It would be a surprise to see them playing CL next season.. EL maybe? Conference League? Nothing? Everything is possible there but at what cost?
The ranking of the team is really bad, I actually think they will finish in the top 6, but it won't help much. As a former Manchester United fan, I can say that I am saddened by their current situation, the team needs to make the right transfers as soon as possible.

After looking like this will be a tough match for Tottenham and the first half ending with a draw...Spurs came out guns blazing in the second half to get a goal which puts them ahead and if this game stays this way, they will go into 5th after a leap frog of Manchester United and Westham United...but not enough to secure a champions League spot.
Thought that Spurs will take things slow but goals for them came up pretty quick. I would say Newcastle defence should have done better checking run on the wings. The attacking drive for third goal was a nice move and with that third goal Spurs now stand 4th but Arsenal have yet to play their match 1-2 days later.
now Tottenham are 4-1 up and I think that they will certainly get it after from the start of the game Tottenham played a continuous attack, I think they will be able to maintain this score until the end of the game or they will score again to add to the advantage because it is Newcastle can't do much in this match they just play completely defensively and the tactic is ineffective.
Tottenham are now a very serious competitor for Arsenal to fight for the UCL ticket next season.
