Guys, have you got Manchester United at standings?
We've heard quite a few negative comments about Ten Hag's performance so far, so how confident are you about the possibility of his contract being maintained until the end of the season?

If Manchester United's performance doesn't improve in the next game, I don't think he will spend the first half of the season as coach. Dismissals may need to be taken and management must be firm, it will help the team not collapse.

I predict that Ten Hag fate as Man United coach will be determined in the first half of this season. If in the first half of the season Man United's performance does not improve and Man United position does not immediately rise from the middle of the standings, then it is likely that Ten Hag will be fired because I am sure that the management does not want to see their club fail to compete in the Champions League next season because it will be very detrimental to Man United as a big club and will even reduce the club's income if they do not compete in the Champions League.
Manchester United is in 14th place in the Premier League standings with 8 points from 7 matches, as a big team that has won a lot of glory so far, isn't their current position quite tragic and even now they look worse than Bournemouth, with only two wins, two draws, and three defeats.
Reportedly the management will hold a meeting today to discuss Erik ten Hag future, because indeed currently there is a lot of pressure from fans for them to fire him after the team performance has been quite bad so far, the voice from fans should be listened to by the current management because after all fans is an important factor that has been part of Manchester United so far,  But if see the great trust from the management in Ten Hag far, may be that he will get a chance until the middle of the season later.
This 14th position is really embarrassing for a team like Manchester United. If the management still believes in Ten Hag after all these bad results, maybe they are not sensitive to reality. Does the management still think that Ten Hag can bring change and improve Man United's performance? It seems like it's time for the fans to shout louder for real change. As Man United fans, we can't continue to be patient with results like this and Ten Hag should indeed be fired because he has failed as a coach.

Well, even though Man City wants Zubimendi, it is not easy to convince the Spanish international to come to the Premier League. Remember, in the summer of 2024, Liverpool negotiated to buy Zubimendi from Sociedad. However, the deal fell through because the 25-year-old midfielder rejected Liverpool because he wanted to stay with Sociedad.
For Manchester City, signing Zubimendi would be a major strategic move. Not only does it help them get a quality replacement for Rodri, but it also prevents Liverpool from strengthening their squad. Furthermore, with his talent and potential, Zubimendi could become an important part of Pep Guardiola's long-term plans at the Etihad. The race to sign Martin Zubimendi promises to be one of the hottest stories of the upcoming winter transfer window. Zubimendi's contract release clause with Real Sociedad is not a big problem for a financially strong team like Man City. Importantly, if they want to sign Zubimendi, Man City needs to make an offer attractive enough to convince him to leave the club he calls home.
He will think twice now, Real Sociedad's performance is decline in this season, they only won 2 match and now they're at 15th position. Le Normand and Merino left the team, they both are great contributors in Real Sociedad, that's why they're struggle in this season.

Do Zubimendi want to play in a team not able to qualify for Conference League? while he has an option to move to other team that already secure Premier League trophy and ticket to Champions League.

Zubimendi is a defensive midfielder, he will replace Rodri's position.

Since Manchester City lost Rodi they couldn't have good performance like the past days when they had Rodi in this team and this affected the performance of Manchester City so far. This made Pep Guardiola worried and now he is searching for alternative players to fill the place of Rodri in this team.
Now it seems Martín Zubimendi the player of Real Sociedad is linked to the team. However, so Real Sociedad rejected the offer from Manchester City and Zubimendi didn't show any interest but now it seems Manchester City wants to spend 60 million euros for Zubimendi to make him move.
Yes you are right Manchester City is struggling without Rodri which shows how important he is to team. His absence has revealed big weakness. To fix this Manchester City wants to sign Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad like you said. However £60 million price tag is questionable. Zubimendi is talented but he does not seem interested and Real Sociedad initially said no. Pep Guardiola wants to replace Rodri quickly but this urgency might lead to overpaying.
Losing Rodri and KDB is a big problem for Man City, such as declining performance strength. While Haaland and Rodri can always provide good contributions to Haaland and lately Haaland has also had a little difficulty due to the absence of Rodri and KDB. And regarding Martín Zubimendi, it seems that Man City is not alone in pursuing the player because Liverpool is also linked with the player. €60 million is actually equivalent to the talent the player has but the problem is that Real Sociedad does not have a replacement for Martin Zubimendi. So Real Sociedad also cannot release the player.

Then who is ready to replace Ten Hag in such a short time? I agree and strongly support the dismissal of Ten Hag from the United coaching chair. However, preparing a replacement must also be thought through carefully.
Removing Ten Hag now without preparing a replacement and only relying on a temporary coach is not wise for a team as big as United. Especially if there is no change in performance. If the club management is very serious about improving United, they must have thought about all that. However, until now, they have not taken any steps.
If it continues like this, just let United be the subject of ridicule on social media.
In the mean time i learnt his assistance has been given the mandate incase the board eventually fires Erick Ten Hang, he's going to take over till the arrival of anew coach whom the team is looking at getting. I agree that firing Ten Hag at this time may not be the ideal thing to do but at the same time keeping him isn't the best either and there are situations that requires drastic measures one of which is this and they can find a way to move forward there after, as keeping him any longer will not be of any good to the team.
When Ole Gunnar was fired and Eric Ten Hag was hired Manchester United board and fans thought they have gotten the best that's out there. Now they are busy making plans to get this innocent Man fired just because he is getting bad results for now. What if they bring someone who is going to perform worst than this Ten Hag. This is the wrong time to fire this Man. Manchester United made a mistake during the summer by not going for Antonio Conte. If they had fired Ten Hag back in the summer, but now that they have allowed him to stay, he should be allowed to finish the season. The good results will start coming soon.

I have this confidence in Ten Hag that he is definitely gonna bring success to Manchester United. The media is making the Job uncomfortable for Ten Hag, they should allow this man focus on his Job. I don't like the way this manager is being treated at Manchester United. The board had meeting with him during the summer and they agreed to stay together for better for worst, according to what Ten Hag said to media after the Tottenham match, so why are the Manchester United board not keeping to their words, just seven games into the season.

Rodri's role in Manchester City's midfield is very important, so Rodri's current absence due to his ACL injury will definitely make Guardiola a little confused. Because according to the news circulating, Rodri will be absent until the end of this season. So with this, Guardiola really has to find a replacement for Rodri as quickly as possible, because of course the void left by Rodri will have a big influence on Manchester City's midfield. Because Manchester City doesn't have any more defensive midfielders in their squad except Rodri at the moment. So Guardiola is automatically a little confused because of this. Moreover, one of Manchester City's midfielders, De Bruyne, is still injured at the moment. This of course will make Manchester City's midfield even less stable.

Therefore, if for example Zubemendi was successfully brought in by Manchester City, of course this would make Manchester City's midfield a little better. Because Zubimendi is also a pretty good midfielder, because at Sociedad he was often used as a starter. This is clear evidence that Zubimendi is a player who has made a big contribution to Sociedad's midfield. So if Manchester City buys him, of course it will have a very good impact. And from the news circulating, Zubemendi has started to give the green light to Manchester City. But even so, we'll see whether this transfer will actually happen or not. Because as we know, Sociedad has not yet provided any further statement on this matter.

I don’t think Aston Villa or Chelsea can win the Premier League this season though Chelsea might be looking like they are resurrected and scoring goals, Enzo Maresca still have so much to prove before I can believe that Chelsea is back to their glory days.

Aston Villa are a good team but certainly not good enough to compete against Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal. This season, all three clubs look like title contenders. The season is still young, we will find out as the season progress which teams will be able to stand the tough fixtures and fatigue when it begins to set in.
The season is very long to strike out opportunities of winning Premier League for Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Remember many years ago, Leicester City with worse player resources than Aston Villa and Chelsea, won Premier League. If they could do it, Chelsea and Aston Villa can do it too because they have better player resources than Leicester City and with Aston Villa, they shown competitiveness and improvements in recent seasons. These clubs are completely different and more competitive than Leicester City years ago with regular fight in relegation zone.

I will be surprised if either Chelsea or Aston Villa winning Premier League this season, but less shocked than Leicester City's magic season years ago.

There is little chance for Chelsea or Aston Villa to win the title because Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are the biggest favorite teams until the tight competition from these three teams that have a big chance to win the title. With Chelsea in the top four, I think it is quite a good achievement because with their own performance improvement that can make them in a ranking that is at least quite profitable. Liverpool is the team that leads the standings and of course this is quite difficult for Arsenal and Man City to win the title, they have new rivals in fighting for the title because indeed with the previous season where Liverpool was quite far behind but now they are performing well to become the team that conceded the fewest goals. There is a chance for Liverpool to win the league title as long as they can maintain their performance well in terms of defense and attack.

The team management continues to support Ten Hag, believing that he can turn things around for the club. The management had a good relationship with Ten Hag because of the trophies he had won in the previous two seasons; they did not want to fire him because he had won a trophy that other managers failed to win. However, this is not the first season that Manchester United has had a low point at the start of the season, the club had 9 points in seven games the previous two seasons and the management did not fire him, so this season, as Manchester United has 8 points in seven games, I do not think the management will fire him because they believe they still need more games to improve their performance.

As expected Erik Ten Hag really got full support from United top brass despite showing bad results. Regardless of the 2 trophies he gave, in the end Man United position in the standings still proves that they are going through a difficult season. I think it's quite clear that if he is to be retained then all United fans should be patient for quite a long time, maybe 2 to 3 more seasons to see Man United in the ranks of the strongest clubs again. With the decision to support Ten Hag, if at the end of the season the club is in the lower ranks, we will not blame coach Ten Hag anymore but we will corner all this setback due to Man United top brass themselves who do not want to make a firm decision.

Yes, if you think about it, of course Ten Hag has helped Manchester United win the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and of course that is the reason why Ten Hag has stayed at Manchester United all this time, and now Manchester United's performance at the start of this year for me is certainly a decline in Manchester United's performance. It is very noticeable and of course Manchester United fans want Manchester United to make progress this season.

But yes, of course, with the decision of Manchester United Management to retain Ten Hag, of course Manchester United fans will not be able to do anything other than having to accept the fact that Ten Hag will currently continue to coach Manchester United.

Indeed, I also think like you, maybe Manchester United will need a long time to perform better in the EPL. Yes, of course, if we see a setback from Manchester United in a season or another while Ten Hag is coaching, of course we will be able to blame Manchester United officials because Manchester United officials are the ones who always make decisions and always defend Ten Hag. But yes, I hope that the management's decision to retain Ten Hag is correct and hopefully Ten Hag can now make Manchester United even better. Of course, we'll see what becomes of Manchester United during Ten Hag's coaching.

I think he is quite stupid if he rejects the offer from the EPL giant club compared to staying at Real Sociedad where he has no chance to win any title with his club whereas if at Man City he can become a famous player and he can become a talented player to make his future even better, he is still young, he should think more about his career being at Man City will give him benefits and become a regular player.

Rodri is Manchester City's key player, even last season, we saw how much of a role the player played in their games, they didn't lose a single game that Rodri played for Manchester City. I don't think Manchester City will have a defensive midfield as strong as Rodri
The importance of Rodri with Manchester City is like importance of Casemiro with Real Madrid in many years, but we can see that Casemiro ended his career in Real Madrid, moved to Manchester United and only maintained his good performances in a half of season before sliding down dramatically.

The same thing will happen with Rodri when he is older and his newest injury, a serious one with ACL, will bring a down side of his career coming sooner than expected. Pep Guardiola is smart to know that as he already worked with many star players, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Deco, Schweinsteiger and chose good time to let these star players going away to another club.

He actually has idea on gradual replacement plan on Rodri and this ACL injury of Rodri will force Pep Guardiola to speed up this process faster.

halland is more of a fixed and non mobile attacker that needs creative players like KDB, and doku to support him full time if he's to perform at his peak in the manner he usually does. The absent of these key players has a great effect on the team and it's good it's happening at the point when the international break is on and they will have to wait for the break to be over and hopefully bounce back strong to start off the season. It's a challenge coaches already know even before the season started that a lot of players most expecially the key ones will go through this stages. What pep gladiola should be praying for is that another key player don't get injured during their international duty or else it's going to be a devastating one for the team.

If foden steps up big like he played last season, it's going to be much easier for the team to strive better with this challenges. It's an advantage that you have a lot of talents in your squared and those that might be complaining that they aren't being given enough playing time would certainly get the privilege of being featured in these games if the injured players don't bounce back fast enough.

The loss of the two most influential figures certainly made the team's balance starting to shake it that began to be seen from the game scheme that was built began to bloom so that it affected the goals created. Pep Guardiola does have quite a number of alternatives but when faced with a busy period, it is likely that he will find it difficult to rotate players. Zubimendi is predicted to be targeted to be brought to the Etihad Stadium and maybe after being analyzed he is the right figure to fill the blanks but Manchester City must be able to be patient waiting for the transfer window to open in order to recruit him. The transfer fee is not an obstacle, but negotiations may run a little tough.

I don't think Manchester City will have a defensive midfield as strong as Rodri. I believe Guardiola brought Gundogan back to the club to strengthen the midfield, in any case, both Rodri and De Bruyne won't be fit to play, and Rodri is clearly at a higher level than Gundogan. However, in the previous match against Arsenal, if Rodri had not been injured, Manchester City would have won but a few minutes after Rodri was substituted, Manchester City conceded two goals. Guardiola has to deal with the midfield issue after struggling to defeat Fulham in their last match.

Martin Zubimendi seems to be happy in Real Sociedad, I don't believe the player is ready to leave the Spanish club this season after rejecting Liverpool's offer at the start of the season, but let's see if Manchester City can sign the player for the amount they are willing to pay.

I don't see a big impact on Manchester City losing Rodri and so far Manchester City are still very strong and consistent.
£60 is not a big figure for a club like Manchester City but is Martín Zubimendi the right thing to do as Pep Guardiola is usually more selective in buying players and he Will consider many things before deciding to sign the player.
Judging from the age of Martín Zubimendi at this time, it is certainly still suitable for Pep Guardiola to recruit him because the player's position is in the midfielder even though statistically his current achievements are still quite minimal at Real Sociedad. But if a player like Martín Zubimendi is in a more appropriate team with coach Pep Guardiola, of course there will be many changes that he can feel in the future. So it would not be wrong for Pep Guardiola to want to recruit him into the Manchester City squad, especially considering that Manchester City's financial capabilities are also still very large.

So far in the games that have taken place Manchester City still look strong and they are unbeaten since the start of the season.
Pep Guardiola does not have much difficulty in balancing the strengths he has because he has quite good players in the team.

I quite agree with you Manchester City have their big gun missing and it worries not only Pep but the whole team (just as KDB is out) because they don't have that player who always intercept and cut out threat from opposition teams. Getting a new player to fill in the void would be hard no matter how good Pep sees that player, he can't do the job the way Rodri does it, if not why is Mateo Kovačić not the best option to take Rodri's place? Is hard now for Manchester City, not that Zubimendi isn't going to do well but it won't be this very campaign, maybe after getting him it will take a little time to blend in. For the first time we're going to see Manchester City making a desperate move for a player and I know for sure that no matter the pressure Pep is going to get a better player.

Where did you get this information? According to the leaks, no decision has been made today and he could still be fired in the coming days. It all looks more like the management is waiting for a nod to take over at United from someone they really want. Once that is done, Ten Hag will be sacked. If not, he will stay until the next opportunity to hire the right coach.

I assume it was his opinion. But, I've heard INEOS has a meeting today about the club's performance.

So far, INEOS has made no announcement. It seems they still support Ten Hag. Let's wait until the next day. Maybe there will be news from United's management about his fate at the club.

I personally hope United will sack him, then put a fresh name to be a new coach. It's painful to see they are now placing 14th. They look like a relegation team now.
