I have to disagree, just cause of one loss to Spurs and people have already forgotten than City were on a long unbeaten run, anyway that is how football is. Liverpool are no doubt in great form, but so is City, it is very difficult to pick between the two teams and from a neutral perspective this two teams are really competitors in every sense of the word.
Yes they have been topping for so long and have been in good form but then how come they are now topping the second position with just three points, thats because Liverpool have been doing better than them lately that's why the have close the gap from nine point to just three points, let's wait and see how Manchester City handle the pressure but I think they might fail to win the league title.

Am having a strong feeling that Liverpool will overtake Manchester City in the premier League table ranking because after the Manchester City Vs Tottenham game I think city have drop a little and that game shows that if you are compact enough you can get a good result against city but in Liverpool case they are in top form and they are showing it game after games and mounting more pressure on Manchester City with the signing of Luis Diaz he has improved their course more.

Having said that, City's game with United this weekend, and the Liverpool game a couple of weeks later will be the deciding factor if City wll remain top, or if Liverpool would usurp them, to be honest, i expect City to see this one through, they have led for so long and they must remain focused for the final lap, Liverpool will push them to their limits no doubt, but City will deservedly see this one through.

If anyone saw the live broadcast between Everton v Manchester City then I'm sure you would say that the referee favored Manchester City. How not, the referee did not give a penalty kick and did not want to see the VAR display when the ball touched Rodri's hand in the minutes before the end of the match or after Manchester City's goal was created. It was a clear hand ball and Everton should have got a penalty kick but the referee didn't give it, I really didn't expect the referee to still be able to do that even though it was assisted by VAR technology. I bet on Manchester City -1.5, but with that happening I really didn't like it and even my bet lost. Lampard is doing a great job here, Everton shouldn't have lost this match because they also played well but they were unlucky.

I admit Liverpool's performance is indeed much better than Man City, Liverpool always wins with a big enough score. Especially after the arrival of
Luis Diaz, Liverpool's attacks became more varied and deadly, no wonder facing Leeds could score up to 6 goals. If Liverpool can play consistently
like this until the end of the season, then Man City need to worry, because there is a possibility that Man City's position will be replaced. But if we
talk about Guardiola who is very experienced and successful in handling big teams, I believe Guardiola has a way of dealing with pressure from
Liverpool. Guardiola will try to motivate Man City players not to drop points in the remaining 11 games. We will see a strategic battle between
Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, we will know who is the best at the end of the season.

What surprises in yesterday match in the premier league is the match between Manchester United vs Watford,  I don't expect Manchester United to play game with Watford without scoring any goal . It is fine too for them not to allow Watford to have defeated them, it is better it was draw.

Actually, Ronaldo played perfectly, his passes were very good, but there are not enough names in the team to score goals. Likewise, they did not pass in many possible positions to Ronaldo, so the chances of scoring are also decreasing. Quite unfortunately they lost points, it is very unfortunate that they had so many chances to score and not scored. It was a great match to watch, but I would like to see a goal Smiley

Nobody thought that with the way they played. Lot of goal scoring chances all missed either by Ronaldo or Fernandes. One or two more by Elanga. They should have won with 3-4 goals easily but the positive pint for United is that they defended quite well in yesterday's game. Didn't gave Watford any sort of room for potential attacking play.

Its a clear penalty against Man City post match analysts indicated Rodri really handle the ball in 18 yard box, a penalty ought to have been awarded to Everton, I absolutely agreed with their analysis, a defender is not expected to spread their hand in that box area, some decisions taken by some of these referees including VAR is very unfair, though Everton also had few goal scoring chances but missed them, while Pickford made some brilliant saves to deny Man City, above all Everton had improved since the appointment of Lampard though they are in a precarious position on the EPL table one point above relegation, I don't think they won't be relegated.

Manchester City were lucky with Foden's goal in the 80+ minute where he got a good chance after the ball was missed by an Everton defender and it was the only goal that made Manchester City win. But overall Manchester City also played well and as usual they also dominated the match from start to finish. They also had chances to score but sadly they also missed a lot of attempts. Luckily for them the referee did not give a penalty to Everton because if that happened the match would have ended in a draw.

Manchester City are lucky because they don't think they have won the match. Manchester City were the favorites in this match. However, I would say that their performance was a bit weaker than before. They made only 13 shots in this match. However, 8 shots were on target. Each attack was strong enough to reduce the attack. However, since teams like Everton play defensively, they needed a lot of attack to win against them. Which Manchester City did not. However, I am happy that they won by scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. They still hold the top spot in the points table.

Manchester City is a really good team. A good team especially on the offensive line. But they need a forward like Lewandowski, Haaland or Harry Kane. In this match, Phil Foden saved them. Towards the last minutes, they found the goal they were looking for. But what if they couldn't score this goal? Liverpool is very close to them. The leadership race is getting faster and faster.

West Ham vs Wolves I know how Wolves will fight to win again after yesterday's painful loss to Arsenal but West Ham is also not an easy opponent for sure Wolves will be under pressure if they can win then that is an advantage for Wolves in the EPL.

I can only imagine a draw @3.25 and a win @4.00 or even a small chance for West Ham @2.07 this allows me to choose the hosts on the other hand Wolves have a good game too.

Yesterday Everton played well. It seemed they had a game plan and were pressing City quite well in my opinion. Also City were also lucky with their goal plus they were also lucky with the hand ball. Otherwise that match would have been a draw for sure. I am sure Lampard will be happy with the way how they played against City despite loss.
while watching the everton vs man city match yesterday, I doubted whether man city would be able to win in the derby later...

Man City's next opponent is Man Utd, since Man City's defeat to Tottenham, it's clear that Man City's game pattern has changed slightly. if man city lost in the derby later, we can be sure that Liverpool's steps to become the leader of the standings are wide open.

Burnley has played lesser game's, I see they have a good chance to come ouuta the relegation spot, that's if they do well to win their two games at hand. Same goes to Arsenal, sometimes I feel like they should emerge winners of the premier league but they did slacked, seeing them having two points at hand, they have a good chance to qualify for the Champions League spot.
I'm not handing the League over to Manchester City already, Liverpool having a game at hand, wins that and it'll be four points, the premier leagues quite competitive unlike last season.

We are watching a very exciting league this year, there is a great competition both in the relegation zone and in order to be the first. Burnley and Everton are in a better position than their rivals. They have a high chance of getting out of the relegation zone as they played two games incomplete. There is still a long time to finish the league and I think the positions of the last teams may change Smiley

I'm not surprised to see Frank Lampard lossing once more, also to any English manager, I find it that no English manager has ever won the league.
Three losses already since he's appointment as Everton manager, same for Steven Gerrard, he managed to win yesterday.
I be patiently waiting for one to win the premier league.

Manchester United Derby up next! Who are your mortgage on ?
Manchester United having bad game's won't sleep on this one, they lost the last derby so I see focus and improvements here.
Manchester City have got higher chances without biases, they want to win the premier league once more but doesn't seem so for them, not too easy this time around.

A poor first half performance. I've rarely seen them under pressure. In the first half, you didn't see much of De Bruyne and Bernardo. Bernardo challenged a lot more and made a good pass to Foden in the second half.
Manchester city's position on the league now is very delicate, and considering that, the players and coach will be generally under pressure to maintain their current standing they will be very careful in play, maybe too careful that they get dominated. I'm certain Pep observed that in the first half and urged his team to play better in the second. Their next game is against MUFC, chances are it may end in a draw. So it's good news that they were able to get all three points against Everton.

this will make the English league more interesting, the competition to get the English league I think until the last game. If we compare it with other major leagues, usually the remaining 5 matches have a winner, but this does not apply to the English league. and this season, there is tough competition in the top 4 positions between Arsenal and Manchester United.

The next match is Manchester city vs Manchester united, I think the Manchester derby is very interesting to watch, although I am sure Manchester City will come out victorious considering that this season MU is very inconsistent even though they have changed a new coach but Manchester united has not found a good game.

First of all, Everton will play defensively and try to draw the match as we all guessed before. And Guardiola knows this very well. He should have made his match strategy accordingly. I don't know what he did. However, Manchester has made very few attacks in this match.

I think when a team plays defensively and tries to draw a match, there must be a lot of attack to break the defense. Because of the large number of attacks the defenders of the opponent will lose their position and the performance will continue to deteriorate. Manchester City could have scored on this opportunity. However, City needed to win, they were able to win. However, they had to work very hard to win.

Seems a bit lucky even ball possession, passing, and shots on goals leaning toward The City. but no doubt the city has champion mentally even created a goal in the last minutes. And unfortunately tarnished by handball Rodri where the referee didn't give a penalty for Everton. So far, the match is interesting to watch, the city commonly playing offensive all line. while Everton doesn't much change. Since Lampard, Everton only got 1 win and 3 losses in the premier league, that looks bad I think.

Man city did manage to get 3 important points, because they could beat Everton with a narrow score of 1-0, but it's a shame that the victory that Man City got was full of controversy, because the referee didn't give a penalty when Rodri did a handball, Everton were struggling to avoid it. the relegation zone while man city is also struggling to stay at the top of the standings, the competition for the champion between man city and liferpol is getting hotter, liferpol will face west ham next week, if liferpol manages to get three points, the competition for the championship title can be confirmed even hotter..

The title fight is getting exciting. Even a few days ago, we only saw the reign of Manchester City in the Premier League. Although Liverpool is now 6 points behind Manchester City, they have played one match less than City. If Liverpool wins the next match, they will have only 3 points difference with City. However, third-placed Chelsea are now 16 points behind Manchester City. So now the title fight is only between Liverpool and Manchester City

Manchester City really won their Everton match just as I expected. But it was not hard to predict as well. They still scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute though but they won in the end. They are playing without a natural striker right now. Foden played as the centre-forward but he still scored the life-saver. This helped Manchester City take a deep breath before Liverpool play their match at least. But I don't think that Liverpool will make any mistake against West Ham in Anfield. Maybe it is a very hard match but we are talking about a title chance here. Liverpool should be defeating them.

A draw against Utd will be interesting and a lose against them will be more interesting. Utd are unpredictable. In a match they are at their worse but in the next match they could be at their best. Remember Utd did not lose their last PL match. I hope they will be at their best against City LOL
