Premier League match Aston Villa vs Manchester United
I think the Aston Villa vs Man United match will be quite a fierce match. although Aston Villa can currently be superior based on their performance at the start of this season which was quite impressive compared to Man United which was quite bad. But the inconsistency that Man United always displays makes the Man United team more difficult for us to predict. Are they going to suddenly play really well. or they will be as usual this season, namely playing quite badly. If Man United plays well then the result of this match could end in a draw and even victory could belong to Man United. But if Man United plays as badly as usual then Aston Villa will win this match.
But even so, I personally will probably still favor Aston Villa, who are even the hosts for today's match.

Man United desperately needs a win, not only to boost their morale, but it seems that is also the only way for Ten Hag to extend his time. I am quite doubtful that Man United will be able to bounce back if they suffer another defeat because it doesn't just hurt their pride but it could also be the beginning of a long downturn.

Unfortunately, the victory they long for will not come easily because their opponents Aston Villa will be playing at home and they are also in good form. It will obviously be a very tough battle for Man United, but they are fortunate enough to have Bruno Fernandes back on the field because the red card seems rescinded.
The Aston Villa vs Man United match was very fierce. Both teams displayed equally good defense and attack. I think Ten Hag's team is really trying not to lose again. And they managed to share points with Aston Villa which I think is a pretty good result rather than losing.

But I was quite surprised by Chelsea being held to a draw by Nottingham and then I was even more surprised by Brighton who managed to beat Tottenham.
We cannot talk about success for Manchester United because they have only collected eight points in seven matches. This is a shameful statistic for them. Despite spending a lot of money, they have not achieved any success in recent years. They have drawn both of the Europa League matches they have played. Moreover, they played one of them at home. If they continue like this, they will be in a bad ranking in the Europa League and in a bad ranking in the Premier League. Manchester United may experience the same problem that Chelsea experienced in previous years, but if they change the technical director, maybe something can change.

I was surprised to see the host Brighton against Tottenham, because in the second half they were able to turn things around after being 0-2 behind Tottenham in the first half. In the second half Brighton immediately stepped on the gas to attack because in the first half they were already 0-2 behind and finally they were able to score 3 goals in the 48th, 58th and 66th minutes. There are still 15 minutes left in normal time, whether Brighton is able to maintain their victory or still have the opportunity to score a 4th goal and whether Tottenham is able to equalize the score because in 15 minutes anything can still happen.

Tottenham were unable to equalize the goals and the match ended 3-2 in favour of the home team, Brighton. It will be such a big disgrace for the Tottenham’s coach to lose this after being 2 goals up in the first half of the game. I don’t know the type of encouragement the Brighton’s players received during the halftime break that totally changed the way they played and equalised and added goal to take the lead in the match. It was such a nice outing for them and a bad luck to the Tottenham’s team.

Nothing new about Manchester United performance since years and it doesn't seem to get better any soon. Ten Hag tried his best and failed so far especially in English Premier League. I don't know if a potential change in the management could help getting better results either..
This round wasn't good for many teams and not only Manchester United. Even Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle weren't successful.

This is about the achievement of each team to far since the league begins and not just about the game they’re playing currently now or the round that just ended. If you look at the table, all the teams you’ve mentioned that this round was not good for them are in a better position on the table than Manchester United. They should improve their game and when all other teams are facing a bad week, they should that as an advantage to get on top of the league table again. The premier league is not for complains but for actions.

Great result in the end. But there are some concerns, especially in the first half. I might sound harsh, but Arsenal need to be better at home. We need to really push to take advantage of our control when we have it; in the first half, we looked very poor. We must rotate players over the season. This to build chemistry between starters and the bench.

I was very impressed with that second half. The Saka-Havertz combo was phenomenal. They helped us more decisive on the ball in the second half. They could be doing that in every game.

We haven't fully learned yet from last season. We struggle to have a full 90 minutes of control in home games. We looked so badly in the first half, but played differently in the second half. Still not consistent.
Arsenal struggled in the game against Southampton because Arteta decided to do some experimenting with his starting lineup. Thomas Partey was positioned in right back and that decision had an impact on their performance in the first half. If Arteta had played his regular starting eleven, Arsenal would have easily gotten the goals. Saka has been on a different level since wearing the Captain band. Kai Harvertz keeps improving game after game, I just love the connection within the squad.

I had the distinct feeling that Man UTD will hold Aston Villa to a draw. It's like a pattern; whenever Erik's future gets threatened as coach of the club and the management gives him ultimatums, you'd find him picking up and righting his wrongs because on a normal day, Man UTD weren't supposed to hold Aston Villa down being as they haven't been performing greatly.
Check the two games he was given to deliver else he'd be sacked and you'd notice he gave them something to relax a bit about. Yes, it's not three points but at least it's better than a loss on the road and being that their away form haven't been impressive of late, getting a point from a club that has enough confidence and ball control is something to be happy over.

Honestly I'm disappointed at the Brighton side for what I saw them play today, reason why I'm not pleased with them is because of the way they played against Chelsea, why didn't they bring all these energy against the Blues when it matters? Today's game was good but when you start slacking behind you tend to give the other teams opportunity to run through you and the poor display against Chelsea made me believe that Tottenham can as well get a win against them (Brighton) but seeing them coming from behind is outstanding I must say, they did well but they're not consistent and I don't think they can go far this season like finishing at a very comfortable position on the table.
Tottenham Hotspur still haven't changed a bit, leading a game and ending up losing it after a 0-2 lead, is too poor and I wonder if this was the same team that ran over Manchester United like a speeding bus. This is another sign to show that every team that have been struggling to be at the top knows where they belong. Spurs are gradually going off the top 6, with this performance I don't even know if they can fight for the top 4 just as every other clubs are doing.
You don't need to be disappointed at their performance in the first half because they were able to make a welcome back in the second half y scoring three goals within 18 minutes to take the lead and win finally win the match. It will be a big shock and disappointment to Tottenham who was leading in the first half with two goals.

Brighton is indeed a team that can be promising with the way they took over the second half and dominated the match amazed me. Tottenham was unable to equalize the goal despite several attempts before the end of the match putting Tottenham two points below Brighton on the table.

The match is over and Brighton beat Tottenham, actually not too surprised because Brighton is not a weak team both teams are at the same level but Brighton has the advantage as a home team, this is not about luck but Brighton does have abilities and mentality so they can make a comeback in the second half. with an additional 3 points now Brighton rises to 6th position after going through 4 bad results without a victory.
Brighton is not weak as they shown their ability in latest seasons but beating Tottenham is very good results for them because Tottenham actually is at a little bit higher level and has better quality than Brighton. With this win, Brighton harms the position of Tottenham and their race to top four, and directly passes through Tottenham in the Premier League table, with 2 points more than Tottenham after this match.

3 matches today in the Premier League are very disappointing Aston Villa and Manchester United only drew without a goal also the match between Chelsea and Nottingham ended in a draw, no one thinks Chelsea will have difficulty in this match because Chelsea games are impressive in the last 3-4 matches and put them in top 4 but yeah this is Chelsea Team that has not been able to play consistently.
The draw of Manchester United is helpful for Ten Hag and it reduces risk of sack on this coach. 1 point is better than a defeat that will bring bigger risk on Ten Hag's coach position in the club. The coach lets his players played very carefully with aim to control the midfield as best as possible. In fact Manchester United and Aston Villa created some chances to finalize this match with 3 points but they did not convert any chances to goal.

The draw of Chelsea is bad for them, a good result streak stops and they fall a little farther behind top three clubs including Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

And yet again we saw how Manchester United played like the weaker team.

Back to back draw isn't a result Manchester United fans want to see. I saw a poll about the coach staying or leaving and a high majority went for him to be sacked. I think Manchester United should respect the choice of the man and move on without him.
These results are better than losses but I agree that their fans actually want more. They are not familiar with positions in middle of table, even under a first half of the league table. From top four, top six competition to under the half of table, it's very dramatic fall that is not easy to adapt.

Man United is no better than last season so far, and I think they have not improved even though they have made many changes. It was quite clear that Ten Hag seemed very desperate, and he tried to return to play last season's squad as a starter (except Mazraoui because Man United no longer has options at full-back).
They are not better, but actually worse in quality and I feel that discipline in their club becomes worse too. A hub of broken discipline is Bruno, their captain, and it's not right to say all bad things are because of Bruno. The player is given so much expectation and pressure that he fails to carry and consequently, he reacted wrongly individually, but the whole team seems to be broken too.

Quote
It's like a sign that the new players haven't been able to meet his expectations. Whereas, he should have also thought about the possibility that it wasn't the new players who were the cause, but rather his strategy that wasn't working or he was actually the cause as he was simply incompetent.
He spent a lot of money and players came to the club with his transfer request to the club for transfer budget. If most of bought players in his era, don't play well and fail to contribute considerably for the club, Ten Hag can not blame these things on these players or other staffs in this club. He is mainly responsible for these failed transfers, not the others.

And yet again we saw how Manchester United played like the weaker team. I don't know who is in charge of affairs at the Manchester United board but he isn't doing a good job. The team is suffering too much and it's now affecting the reputation of the club. Manchester United played this game against Aston Villa as the lower team, yes they maybe lower on form than Aston Villa now but the have a bigger reputation than villa and that should atleast motivate them to playing better.
Back to back draw isn't a result Manchester United fans want to see. I saw a poll about the coach staying or leaving and a high majority went for him to be sacked. I think Manchester United should respect the choice of the man and move on without him.
This is the worst performance Manchester United have ever had, they keep going down down the table yet the coach is not remorseful. He is still boasting with the facts that Manchester United has clean sheets and some other qualities he's bragging about when other clubs are boasting of more wins and being at the top of the table. We need more than just clean sheets. I do not think the players and even the coach are motivated enough to put in their best performances and strategy. It is really disappointing watching Manchester United these days playing with zero motivation. Wherever the problem is coming from, I just hope they fix it.

I am never surprised by the results of Manchester United's matches. I have no expectations from this team. And I don't bet on any Manchester United match. The overall condition of this team is dire right now. Still I don't understand how Ten Hag is so proud of his squad. I'd say Ten Hag's is less of a shame. He should resign. He turned the Manchester United team into rubbish. Manchester United's performance is getting worse day by day. Still, Ten Hag tells us to wait until the end of the season. But I don't believe we will see any improvement in Manchester United's performance at the end of the season.

Despite leading 2-0 against Porto, Manchester United could not win the match. United's players could not score any goals against Aston Villa. Manchester United lost 3-0 against Tottenham. I am very upset with this team. I'm especially tired of seeing Ten Hag's bad match tactics.

I was expecting goals because I saw how Uni Emrey's boys did well against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. I was also expecting Ten Hag to take his revenge against Aston Villa because as far as I am concerned, Manchester United is a bigger team than Aston Villa. They should defeat Aston Villa in normal circumstances. Nevertheless, it ended in a draw which is a fair result for them all.

Yea, me too. I never expected this match to end in a goalless draw. Even if I thought it would be a draw, I predicted a 2-2 or 1-1 draw. There games usually have goals in it, and what made me more confident about that prediction was the fact that Aston Villa are in a good form. I expected them to win since they were at home. I never thought the game will end in a goalless draw.

Manchester United are in more trouble than they care to admit. It's not looking good for them at all. They've not been able to win any decent team this season. For United to win any team, that team has to be a total disaster. Fulham was the only reasonable team they've managed to win this season on the opening game week and they were lucky to get all 3 points in that game. They really need to improve because it's not looking good at all.

What do you expect from a manager who is under pressure and also on the verge of losing his job if he loses this match, or if he keeps losing games?
Ten Hag was a bit happy with the result because I think that is the best thing they can do at this moment considering the form Aston Villa is in this season.

He's a mediocre manager. A top manager should see a 0-0 draw as a positive result. In his post match interview he said they kept a clean sheet. Can you imagine that? What's the point in keeping a clean sheet if you do not win the game? Isn't it better to concede an get all 3 points? That kind of mentality is not the kind of mentality a team like United should have. That's really poor.
Like I always say, Manchester United may not have world class players, but they have a team that shouldn't be struggling in every game they play.

Man City have gone behind in a few games this season but still come back to win. I think they look a lot more vulnerable than in previous seasons, they are conceding more. Rodri is a massive loss to them. I actually think Arsenal are the favourites for the title, they defend in numbers and are hard to break down.

My beloved Liverpool look good so far but it’s probably too much to expect Slot to win the title in his first season. Arteta has been at Arsenal since 2019, still only has an FA Cup win on his managerial CV. It is very hard to beat Man City, only Klopp has done it since 2017-18.

Your opinion coincides with the bookmakers' opinion, before this round they rated Arsenal as the favorite (approximately 2.24), City as the underdog (approximately 3.0) and Liverpool was over 5.0. I can say that I disagree with Liverpool's rating and think it should be higher as they are the leaders. As for City not being favourites, it's too good to be true.

What a football weekend! Very interesting matches played today expecially the match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest that surprised many pundits that thought it would be an easy ride for the Blues. Today just got to show that Nottingham Forest winning Liverpool was not a mistake but but well deserved. Going forward, every team will be careful of Nottingham Forest at away.

Brighton against Tottenham is also another surprising matching as Brighton came from 1-2 at half time to make it 3-2 lead. It was indeed a display of beautiful football today.

Manchester United Lossing against Aston Villa in today's match is going to be a big disaster to Eric Ten Hag career, their 0-3 lost against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend in their home ground is a very one on the team and i know that hopefully the performance of the boys will be triple as not to ever loss the game, but however Aston Villa on the other hand succeeded in 2-2 draw against Ipswich and won bayerm Munich with 1 goal over the midweek in the European champions League, indeed it is going to be a tough game for Aston Villa and Manchester United today at Villa park (Birmingham).

It is most probable that Ten Hag will be sacked if Manchester United are unable to take three points from Villa. It seems likely we're getting a draw as the result.

As for the game, Manchester United looks so poor in this game. It's very painful to watch their gameplay now. Their attack is still toothless.

It bothers me that Bruno always complains about passes that don't reach him. He still loses the ball. It's weird to see how Ten Hag's rotation doesn't apply to him. He was Ten Hag's favorite player. He has been abysmal in the first half. Hopefully, Zirkzee is in to replace him.

So far, they've not been really impressive and had several chances in the 1st half, I think the board would still pardon Erik Ten Hag if they end up playing goalless draw as the score is currently, I think Manchester United players really tried to keep Aston Villa from scoring in the 1st half, questions have been asked by several pundits if they're ready to fight for Erik Ten Hag but from what I see so far I think they're. Lately, I don't think lots of Manchester United fans would enjoy watching them play cause they lack playing pattern and easily give out the ball to opponents, especially Bruno Fernándes who made lots of errors against Twente and Porto, but I'm suprised he's made little errors today. Well, it's obvious that Bruno is the coach's favourite player cause despite his errors he still makes his position as a starter. The only players that I'm very impressed with this season is Onana, he's had lots of brilliant saves this season and helped Manchester United to concede lesser goals, even in this match he's made several good saves in the ongoing 2nd half and I'm impressed with his current form.
For how long will the Manchester United board pardon Ten Hag? Assuming Ten Hag gets pardoned this time around, what about other matches to come? Will he deliver by making Manchester United win their upcoming matches? That's the question to ask. Remember, there are several matches in the pipeline for Manchester United to play before the end of the season. Will it be nice if Manchester United draws and loses many of their games before it becomes obvious that Ten Hag should be sacked, to save Manchester United from further match disgrace. However, Manchester needs a savior as a coach to change the team formation by benching players like Rashford, and Bruno Fernándes that are having poor performance in the field of play

Indeed Man United is always monotonous in terms of creativity in building attacks and for some reason Erik Ten Hag always considers a draw as something extraordinary. Maybe he doesn't see what Man United's position is in the current standings. There is no change for the better, minimal goals and just playing without a clear vision, so a draw against Aston Villa is not enough. Man United needs a win and that win is difficult for Ten Hag to get to guarantee his fate as a coach.
Actually, I thought that Aston Villa would win against Man united
But, well, it's draw.
it's okay. It's good for Man United.

Chelsea is back on form, because if it is the Chelsea of last season, they can't be able to draw this game because Nottingham Forest is not a small team now, they are among the teams that are given all the big teams a hard time in the Premier League. Too many matches have started to affect these players because they look tired, if not, Chelsea should have won the game.
Yes, unfortunately this time they failed to win against Nottingham Forest and only ended in a 1-1 draw.
Anyway regarding Chelsea, currently it seems that Cole Palmer is increasingly being discussed.
