Right now Liverpool are at the top, but they have a very difficult fixture coming up. They will play very difficult games both in the league and in the Champions League. They play Chelsea and then Arsenal away. They play Brighton & Hove Albion who have started well this season and then Aston Villa. In between there's a seemingly easy game against Southampton and then they play Manchester City. If we add the next game against Newcastle United, six of the seven games until December 4 will be against other teams in the top seven. No team can come out of such a difficult fixture unscathed. I think the results here will determine Liverpool's fate this season. Suddenly they could fall far behind in the race. I think they will definitely lose points in at least 3 games here. It will be a very different standing in Premier League in December.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest in the end was the same as I expected where there was surprise given by Nottingham Forest by pressing Chelsea to not be able to win, the score ended in draw 1 - 1.
Nottingham Forest got red card for 1 of its players after Chelsea was able to equalize but unfortunately Nottingham Forest defensive play was quite satisfactory and even though they played with only 10 players they still couldn't make Chelsea able to achieve goal advantage.
I took Double Chance and also BTTS which became one betting slip and this really became victory with much more worthy odds, haha I didn't expect Chelsea who previously played very well could be pressured by Nottingham Forest in this match.

Right from the time I saw that fixture,I was very much concerned and afraid of the Opponents because I have observed them play against some big teams and seen how they pressure such teams. They are always out to give Big teams troubles which is the capital behaviors of teams that came up from championship. Their fitness is always on its apex and they try to prove themselves by daring big teams and attempting to humble them.

About the match, the man of that match should go to Ward-Prowse, he took a very decisive action to deny Jackson an easy counterattack that would have seen them defeated, although he paid the prize and was sent off. The Nottingham Forest goalkeeper was a weapon that was clearly fashioned against Chelsea as he was very instrumental to seeing that the points was shared between the two teams. The Nottingham Forest team was really pressing the Chelsea team even with ten men and almost got the victory in the dine minute, but they were denied by the ever-smart Sanchez.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Anyone saying Erik Ten Hag should be given more time because he got a point is not a fan of Manchester United. The fact Manchester United fans are happy to take a draw against Aston Villa tells you how bad this team has become.
For the most part, he's so relaxed and tend to accept whatever fate befalls him... Wasn't he told that the premiership is the most competitive league games in the world? It looks very weird to wake up to the same news every day - plus the fact that he's throwing claims that whatever happens ain't his fault? Again, for what purpose is he still preserved??
I took a very close look at those players and, they were serious growing tired of everything. Rashford wasn't even in the game as he kept strolling on the pitch just to secure his match allowance.

Well I love the fact that Chelsea, one of their greatest adversaries in the history of the league is still blooming with goals back to back. That alone should be a huge challenge to them.

if you look at Man United performance when playing against Aston Villa, it is actually lucky for Man United to get 1 point at Aston Villa's home because Man United's performance is far from the standard as a big club. If Man United is still coached by Ten Hag until the end of this season, then Man United fans should be prepared to see their favorite club fail to compete in the Champions League next season. therefore, Man United Management must immediately find a solution to find the right replacement figure to handle Man United this season at least even though they cannot win this season, but the club can compete in the Champions League next season.

Man United may not have played too well, but if you look at how they played before, then a draw against Aston Villa is a pretty good result for them. I'm also not sure whether Man United will be able to bounce back and make improvements, but it seems that firing Ten Hag will not be the solution (at least for now) because Man United will only get a replacement who is not necessarily the coach that Man United needs to be better.

If they want to change the manager then Man United has to choose the right person and I think that can only be done when the transfer window is available, where at that time there were many choices and not limited to just a handful of people.

Yes indeed, Manchester United is still lucky to get 1 point because after all, Aston Villa can still be consistent with good performance after Aston Villa managed to beat  Bayern Munich in the Champions League. But indeed, in fact Manchester United also had a good effort by having four shots on target, while Aston Villa only had one shot on target. Thus,  I think Manchester United and Aston Villa played very evenly, so the final result in this match was also a goalless draw, because their defense lines were also equally good in this match. But at least, Aston Villa under Unai Emery has become a great team, so that they still managed to compete in the top zone of the Premier League standings, it is clearly not easy at all  to maintain it but they succeeded.

Erik Ten Hag will be meeting Unai Emery side any moment from now at the villa park. What are your thoughts on this game considering how important it is to Ten hag's future in Manchester united. Will ETH be able to give us a shocking by snatching all three points in this game or will Unai Emery side continue their demolition with Manchester united?

Lend your thoughts guys.

Someone said over the radio that he can bet his kidney that Aston villa are surely gonna win Manchester united. Grin. Hehehe

Manchester United have been performing quite well so far, and Aston Villa have had a challenging old performance in comparison. No team has seen a goal until half time although both teams have attacked Manchester United team has 2 attacks in total, and Aston Villa team has 4 attacks but their attacks are very difficult, but the defenders of both teams are quite aggressive in today's match.
Aston Villa's goalkeeper Martinez, being an experienced goalkeeper, easily saved Manchester United's attacks. Which is why the Aston Villa side are still not behind on goal, as both attacks are aimed directly at the goal post.
Frankly, Man U should do something about its feat, it's no longer funny, sitting at number 8 on the table with so many losses suffered is not cool, let someone show Erik Ten Hag a way out, please.
Just take a look at the statement of Erik Ten Hag in this photo does it look like the statement of a manager who is scared or not sure of  position in the team? The man is comfortable from where he stands with the club's management board and he is short of any sack right now. Else, how can he conveniently make such speech after the draw result in the game with Aston villa, for an almighty Manchester united it sounds like an average team that met with the Villa's as elite team.

But in this match with Aston Villa, I rate the two teams the same even as some people claim otherwise, they both did well in their way despite there was no goal in the match. I concluded that way because the Man U of today is not the old and usual Man U and Aston Villa has improved greatly, so the two teams that met were of the same measure by what they showed off, therefore I can't say I am disappointed with Man U and neither can I say I expected Aston Villa to do better. If it were of old, in a match like this, Man U would perform better with the attack than the ugly way they have played lately. Thanks to the defence and goalkeeper of both sides, especially Emiliano Martínez, he did a good job back there.
It's a familiar way with Erik Ten Hag, that whenever the tensions are high calling for his sack he gets a bit of an improvement particularly from a game he's least expected to do any better. So this doesn't come at a surprise to me when I watched how United played at Villa's park against Emery boys. Maybe ETH would have to keep up with this level of performance to put back Manchester united in the contenders lists for the title or at least top four position for this season which is what actually the United fans are demanding for but not really seeing due to the clubs poor performances since the start of this season.  For the game with Aston villa it was an equal feat from both sides but I won't vet on it saying that Manchester united has improved greatly for now.

I think this picture depicts the perfect example of how Manchester United manager's job is currently protected and how it's safer than all the other managerial jobs in the English Premier League. I don't think there's any of the other top teams in the EPL that'll retain such a manager with poor results for this long and not get him fired.
Talking about Manchester United fans being happy with him, I think you're not right with that opinion of yours and that's because most of the fans of the club I know aren't happy with the club management's decision to keep him at the club. Despite their ability to pick up a point from the game against Aston Villa yesterday, Manchester United I still doesn't look like a team that's gonna start performing well anytime soon.

Have been wondering what Madueke told Enzo Maresca after he scored the equalizer while celebrating in their 1-1 draw against the 10men Nottingham Forest yesterday, after the goal he was saying something to the coach and the manager was smiling happily. In that game we all saw the selfishness of the player and he always wants everything in every single game to be about him but it only shows he's not a team player and I think he should be with players like Ronaldo, that's when things ain't working out for him (I know Ronaldo lovers will react, but it doesn't matter).
I think Enzo Maresca should make a quick change in selecting players after the international break, Madueke should be dropped because he's not the type that plays for the team but for himself, for the spotlight to always be on him just as it has been for Palmer whenever he does incredible things. Should Madueke be dropped and start either Nkunku, Felix, Mudryk or Neto, which is better for Enzo Maresca to do?

I think the MU board has been too lenient up to this point, they have given Ten Hag countless opportunities. MU is causing great disappointment this season, they only have 7 points/7 matches and are ranked 14th in the Premier League. Ten Hag will have to leave the hot seat if the board of directors does not want to continue watching bad matches. I see MU in Ten Hag's hands has no more hope.

We don't need to wait until the transfer window opens, many coaches can do better than Ten Hag who is unemployed. I think one of the hurdles will be compensation for the 54-year-old coach when he was fired nearly 2 years before the end of his contract. In the summer, they will only lose £10m if they part with Ten Hag. But because the club's board decided to continue to extend Ten Hag's contract, the compensation fee now stands at £17.5 million. This is the barrier, but the MU Board of Directors should take risks and make trade-offs. Don't keep your hopes too vague.

Aston Villa vs Manchester United 0-0

The umpteenth draw for Man United, although a draw still gets at least 1 point, but in my opinion it is not the expected result for a club that has experienced 3 defeats from 7 matches, as a result Man United has only collected 8 points and is quite far behind the clubs in the top 5. If they continue to perform like this, how can this club compete with the top clubs in the EPL?

His first season can be said to be quite good at first, but still in terms of their game they were not impressive, in the second season he failed to give his best, although they could win the FA Cup, but it was a title they could get with great luck. Although there will be many who do not like it when I say that, but I still see them as just lucky. In his 3rd season this season, at the beginning of the season he has not been able to show something that can be expected, even worse. I am even very surprised why the management did not take quick steps to save Manchester United from the slump. After all, now the one who decides is the management, or maybe they want to see Manchester United like this? I don't know.

Most persons suggesting ten hag be giving ore time are obviously not Manchester united fan and may want that to happen so that their team will be bale to get a fair share of three, four or six points from Manchester united. A friend of mine did mentioned this over the week that Ten Hag is doing well and should be allowed to stay till the season ends so he gets to meet with the team of which he's a fan as he will be glad to see them win Manchester united in a flawless victory and i laughed and wondered if they don't want Manchester untied to be better this season.
Talking about Man United is indeed endless because this club is very very messy. So let's leave this club for a moment.

Match day 7 still places Liverpool at the top of the standings but a difference of 1 point is not enough to be said to be safe. Man City and Arsenal still have a great chance of stealing points at any time. Considering that The Reds have suffered 1 defeat while Man City and Arsenal are still unbeaten, Liverpool need to be a little vigilant when facing the team below them. Chelsea is very ready to visit Anfield, Enzo Maresca has time to prepare everything he can to steal points.

I am not a fan of The Red Devil, but The Gunners. However, most Manchester United supporters want their team to immediately perform great in the shortest possible time. In fact, after the Sir Alex Ferguson era, no coach has been able to bring United to the peak of its glory until now. I am curious, if Ten Hag was fired. Would this team be better, or even more messy. My question is, United played badly because of their coach or players who were indeed difficult to control and underperformed. Last season, United players played in disarray and some had high egos. This season, it seems that this is still an obstacle. I tried to analyze some data, Ten Hag often rotated his players. Only one player was never absent, namely Bruno Fernandez. This player is great, but has high egos based on my assessment. So what is the solution so that United gets back on track, replacing Ten Hag? Or, disciplining United's players. As a football lover, I am happy to watch exciting and interesting matches. For example. Arsenal vs United, I hope there is tension displayed by both teams. I mean, there was an exchange of attacks from both teams. My adrenaline was pumping fast, and I was getting more serious about it. So don't get me wrong, we don't expect Manchester United to remain down. Another example, when Barcelona was in trouble, I still supported them as a supporter even though there were quite a few who underestimated Barca, doubted them, and even predicted that this team would not last long. Well, whatever other supporters say, we still support our favorite team even if they are in poor form.

Anyway, I hope Ten Hag is able to restore the trust of The Red Devil supporters, by returning to the right track.

I think what strikes people as odd is the discrepancy between the players' potential and what they actually deliver during the games. It is weird to see Rashford not having this final breakthrough everyone has been waiting for. I always thought he has the potential to become a 20+ goals player every season. Now he scored just one goal so far in the Premier League and one goal in the Europa League. Last season it was 8 goals and 6 assists in 43 games. That is just not enough in my opinion considering the enormous potential of this guy. But ten Hag isn't able to make players become better.
It is clear and very easy to know who made Rashford previously great skills dull and often the subject of ridicule because as a striker in the front line he lost his playing vision. However, objective United fans must understand the root of the club problems but those who are fanatics will still think what Erik Ten Hag did was good etc. That's why Man United did not develop even at the end of the season if they fell into the relegation zone, Erik Ten Hag would say we made a lot of changes. It is no wonder why clubs in the EPL are so fond of Erik Ten Hag to be kept. Because seeing Man United every time they play must be an entertainment for everyone.

The picture is indeed very funny because what it is illustrating is that while other clubs managers carried there team on there shoulder to make sure they remain competitive Manchester United manager is not really showing too much concern about it, which is indirectly true because he has not been very productive on the club since from the first day he signed to joined them and now look at how bad Manchester United has been, to the  extend of wishing to draw there match against Aston Villa because of the way the pressure was coming against them on the match and the same thing happened on there match with FC porto after leading for sometime it got the extend they were targeting for draw, so the whole thing about the club has gone way beyond funny.

In 22/23 Rashford had 30 goals and 11 assists in 56 games and that's a good performance. Surprisingly, ten Hag was his coach and ever since Rashford has been on a decline. I wonder if Rashford would perform the same way if Klopp or Guardiola would be his coach. They would try all sorts of stuff to improve his game and his stamina and consistency.

Jhon Durán extends contract with Aston Villa

Aston Villa have announced that striker Jhon Durán has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2030.

The 20-year-old forward has been in impressive form at the start of this season, scoring six goals, including a crucial winner on Wednesday that led Villa to a memorable victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

“Aston Villa are delighted to announce that Jhon Durán has signed a new contract with the club until 2030. The 20-year-old has been in sparkling form at the start of this season, scoring six times, including the only goal on Wednesday night which sealed a famous win over German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League,” the club said in a statement on Monday via its website.

Durán’s standout performances have also seen him score decisive goals in Premier League matches against West Ham, Leicester City, and Everton, the latter featuring a stunning long-range strike.

The Colombian international joined Aston Villa in January 2023 from MLS club Chicago Fire and has quickly become an integral part of the squad.

Source link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/epl-jhon-duran-extends-contract-with-aston-villa/%3famp

Jhon Durán status actually not as Aston Villa main player because Aston Villa still have Ollie Watkins for striker position and last season he was played 23 times in Premier League and scores 5 goals but mostly he was playing as substutition player and this season too Jhon Durán status is still same but the difference is although he almost starting the match from the bench but Jhon Durán always be scores important goals for Aston Villa and the latest goal which he was made is at champion league that although playing only 21 minutes but Jhon Durán can scored and bringing Aston Villa to beat Bayern Munich

So that's why people has starting to called him as supersub player for Aston Villa but although he still hasn't gets one place at Aston Villa starting lineup but he has good potention and if Jhon Durán playing consistent for this season then i am sure Unay Emery will give him more chances to playing regularly however Aston Villa has did good decision by give Jhon Durán long duration contract because i am sure he still can develop his skill with this team

It is appropriate to appreciate ten Hag's achievements lol, criticism of him is getting louder from time to time because Ten Hag still insists on being in his position and does not make any improvements to Man United, last week's matches in both the Europa league and the English premier league did not give a victory, and yes it would be quite natural for others to make fun of him.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest in the end was the same as I expected where there was surprise given by Nottingham Forest by pressing Chelsea to not be able to win, the score ended in draw 1 - 1.
I was thinking Chelsea would be able to win the match, even if it’s going to be a tough one for them, but the match ended in a draw. I wasn’t surprised with the result of the match because Nottingham Forest is really a dangerous club when playing against strong clubs, so I expected them to give Chelsea a difficult time, and Chelsea's performance was not bad in the match, just that they couldn’t score many goals because of the Nottingham Forest defense.

Nottingham Forest got red card for 1 of its players after Chelsea was able to equalize but unfortunately Nottingham Forest defensive play was quite satisfactory and even though they played with only 10 players they still couldn't make Chelsea able to achieve goal advantage.
After Nottingham Forest received their red card, they made their defense stronger, and pressure was just on Chelsea, if not for Sanchez, Chelsea would have lost the match. Sanchez made some great saves towards the ending of the match, which really helped Chelsea.
