Two of today's matches promise to be particularly interesting Manchester United - Southampton and Everton - Leeds. Southampton have been playing really well in recent games, having beaten Tottenham away and drawn against Man City. After Man Utd, as usual, it is not known what to expect - they can both win and lose against any opponent. Leeds seems to be a minor favorite in the second match. Everton are in a bad shape, they have lost the last 4 games and are dangerously approaching the relegation zone. Coutinho has recently shown a great side in the Leeds team. I hope he will get back into shape when he was playing for Liverpool, because it's a pleasure to watching players like this.
Now, the biggest game of the day seems to me like Manchester United vs Southampton. And there are only three hours left for it to start. We could watch a very delightful game as Southampton have been doing very good lately. And I wonder if Manchester United will be able to win this time.
I wonder the same too, I must say that Southampton isn't really the team United would have hoped to meet today considering all their recent struggles, Southampton are renowned for causing the big teams quite a lot of problems, and overall they are doing very well this season as they sit comfortably in 10th position on the table. It's actually funny, but Southampton look favorites for this one, or best result for United could prolly be a draw, except if they United can have an excellent game today, it's been very long since they had that. To be honest, I don't really know where Uniteds problems stem from, if it's the players, managers, the board or what, but what I know is there is something wrong with the team, and they are definitely not winning any trophy this way. 
Manchester United vs Southampton match became the inaugural match this week, a pretty good duel considering Southampton managed to achieve maximum results previously when conquering Spurs 2-3, on the other hand Manchester United experienced a series of poor results, after being eliminated in the FA Cup, MU failed won full points when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Burnley in the middle of last week. Southampton is in the best form from the previous 4 matches with a series of wins and a draw when holding Manchester City into a strong capital to beat Manchester United.
The two bad results experienced by Manchester United in their last match were indeed one of the factors why Southampton had a great chance to beat them. If Burnley can hold their draw, then Southampton's class can do more than that. A little disappointing indeed, but that's what can be predicted if you look at their performance. 
Normally, the Chelsea vs Arsenal game was going to be the main event but it was postponed. Now, the biggest game of the day seems to me like Manchester United vs Southampton. Everton are in terrible shape at the moment as they just could not seems to earn any points in the English Premier League. Even though Everton will have the advantage of playing against Leeds United at their home stadium but I think Everton will suffer another defeat and disappoint their home fans once again today.
Right now, with current form Everton is second-worst side in Premier League, and they are facing some terrible losing run which is wired for me as they have few very good players in their squad but still going down badly like this is unacceptable now they are going to face Leeds United which is also going down recently very badly with this match Everton can change their fortune in positive way because currently both are on same level in performance and strength but Everton having some better players with Leeds United facing some injury problems few players missing from their team is also having big issue for them.If they lost today match then surely then can drop more down even relegation place also in their way with Newcastle United current form is good and win against Aston Villa can give them very good booster to them and shock to Everton's losing side.

The way Southampton played last game, I think it will be very difficult for United considering their recent performances. It will be real tough for them to hold Saints attack. Broja have been amazing for them ever since he came on loan and Ward-Prowse always is a danger man in mid who has deadly strike from long range. United are failing to score goals, their forwards somehow are missing their edge like they used to. At current stage, I think its tough one to call a winner here but I would take Saints here.
Man Utd SHOULD beat Southampton because they spend far more money on players & pay much higher wages. As we all know though, football doesn’t work like that. Saints are in good form & Man Utd are in trouble. It seems lots of Man Utd players don’t work hard enough & put in too little effort. So my guess is that Southampton's players will be more confident at the moment. Manchester United, on the other hand, are still looking for a stable position.

Man Utd should not underestimate Southampton because lately the performance from this team were very good even Tottenham lost against them and they can able to get draw results against Man City which is very strong this season but unstable performance from Man Utd makes some people doubt today they can beat Southampton especially some players such as Fred, Telles and Bailly possibly will not play because not in the good condition
You're right Southampton have some good records some strong teams have a hard time beating them including Manchester last year only managed to draw
Even though Manchester must win because of the home team factor Southampton can definitely score , Southampton's only weakness is Mohammed Salisu this player is too aggressive and can get a red card so far he has collected 8 yellow cards even the most among EPL players
But to talk about the stats of the last game I don't really agree that this is in their favour.
From their last 4 matches, Southampton lost 2 and drew 2 even last season they were crushed by a score of 9-0 so it is very clear this is not very profitable for them

Unted doesn't have a bad team at all. Individually they will even have one of the best teams, but in the beginning it was a mess. A good, experienced coach would make a big difference. Someone like Guardiola, but when I write that I also realize that this is the very last coach who wants to go to United. That would be war in Manchester.
You are right, Manchester United is one of the big teams that has a composition of quality players. But I can't understand why they can be as bad as they are now. Several changes in the coaching staff this season have not brought good changes, they have not shown a performance that changes from game to game.At the beginning of the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, there was hope that they would be able to compete in the Premier League, but that was only hope, because their team's game was in chaos.

Manchester United performance these days is not encouraging the fans to be more bold on Manchester United prediction because of their poor performance in their last 5 game. In their last match that ended up draw 1:1, really surprised people that watch the match because everybody concluded that Manchester United will win the game 3:1 to improve their point that was dropped in their last match. I think Manchester United will defeat Southampton 2:1 to encourage their fans for the poor performance they experienced from them.

I totally agree with you, Southampton have been doing really well lately, even when they played Tottenham Hotspur they managed to dominate the game with 23 attempted shots and 10 shots on goal, even though they were playing away. If Manchester United cannot play well and take advantage of every opportunity, they will most likely lose to Southampton who will probably continue their positive trend in the EPL.Southampton's performance is really good. Their performance against Tottenham was just awesome. They were able to attack a lot, not allowing Tottenham's players to attack too much. However, Southampton's defense is a bit weak.
Southampton have not won in their last 10 games against Manchester United. And Southampton have always had bad luck against United. However, out of these 10 matches, only 6 matches have been drawn. My guess is that today's match will also be a draw. Because Manchester United is not in good form.

That's Manchester united biggest problem, although they shouldn't be having such issue due to the squad they have. I think the problem of united is the board and not even the coach. Maybe he's still be influence on who to play or not to play and in which position they should play. Because it's funny no Coach has been able to succeed recently with their squad when we have every talented players in there.
Manchester united should be able the beat any small club they meet without much difficulties then if they are having issues with top clubs then it's understandable considering the manager this clubs like Manchester CIty, Chelsea and Liverpool has. With the big boys they should be able to steal a win or draw but that's not the case. If united continue playing this bad, they might lose the top4 finish.

I agree with you. For now Man United is no longer a scary team, although they have a lot of great players but their performance doesn't look good. Their Teamwork is less effective and they don't have a good defense, luckily they still have a goalkeeper like De Gea, without him it would be very easy for other teams to score goals. With great players, Man United should be much better than it is now but in fact, their performance is even worse. So it's clear that Man United has a pretty serious problem, it either there is no good synergy between the coach and the players, or indeed the strategy the coach has is not reliable.
They are scary team for their fans because their fans can not predict what Manchester United players will perform in next matches. They are fluctuating so much between good and bad matches and are playing like Arsenal 2 or 3 seasons ago.There is no confidence in Old Trafford and their player mentality to contribute for the club is broken. Without good attitude, good psychology, it is super hard for them to come back. They have systematic problem so any star player can only help them with short term effect. From Bruno Fernandez, Maguire, Cavani, Greenwood, Ronaldo, Pobga, De Gea. They all can not carry a whole team because it is hard to see a whole team can play well together.

The first game tomorrow is Manchester United - Southampton. This could a quite interesting game after seeing the performances last week. Manchester United were incapable of defeating Burnley despite having many chances. And Southampton won by 3-2 against Tottenham away which was really unexpected for most people.
This will be a very interesting match since Southampton surprised us by defeating Tottenham in their home in the previous match. Southampton strikers performed very well by making 3 goals. They won the ball possession and made 23 shots, 10 shots on target. It was amazing stats because their opponent was Tottenham, one of the top clubs in EPL. If Manchester United defenders perform badly, I think Southampton will defeat them in Old Trafford. We all know if Manchester United defense isn't so strong this season.Jump to:
