Liverpool playing against Leicester, for me it’s a win for Liverpool any day. Undermining the fact that mane and Salah are out on national duties, Liverpool have a great squad that can get the job done in most games without their two main men and I believe Liverpool will win this one. Considering the present position of the league and how Liverpool will like to edge closer to Manchester city in the battle for the league title, Liverpool wants it more then Leicester do so they have to win it.
Leicester are a very strong team, they can surprise any team, but I'm also leaning towards Liverpool winning this match. In the match with Crystal Palace, Salah, Mane and Keita were also absent, but this did not prevent Liverpool winning more than confidently 1:3. I don’t know if Liverpool will be able to compete with City, because the lead is still very significant.

Agree, Leicester is really good and strong team, but they struggle to keep their score and defend the team against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and etc... So, for me it will be impossible to see Leicester on the first place. Leicester seems to be something missing, I don't know maybe  confidence.
As of Manchester city and Liverpool, they have equal powers, but everything will depend on personal skills.

Newcastle has spent over 100 million on winter transfers. This means that they definitely want to be in the Premier League next season.
That's definitely quite a large sum of money, and Newcastle could only dream of spending this much on players last season and some couple of seasons ago as well, but now they have quite a lot of money and can afford to spend that much and even more; they are really desperate to escape relegation, and this players they signed is all in a bid for them to avoid being relegated. It's really going to be difficult, but I think they can achieve that, the new management are really desperate, they want to spend a lot of money to see if Newcastle can be an elite club in some years time and the best way to do that is by acquiring top talents and they can only allure such players by staying in the premier league.

What do you guys think of the transfer market?

English clubs were the ones that spent the most in this winter market:
1. England, 347.4 MILLION
2. Italy, 174.8 MILLION
3. Spain, 75.3 MILLION

Newcastle topped the list of biggest spenders with 102 million. Everton spent almost 50 million, Liverpool spent 45 million, Aston Villa spent 30 million, Tottenham 29 million and Watford paid 24 million.

Given that the EPL is the richest and most profitable league, this is an expected statistic. But I am surprised that La Liga is only in third place and the amount of spending on transfers is very modest. But everything will change dramatically in the summer, although not all transfers will be formalized as transfers - for example, Mbappe will go to Real Madrid as a free agent.
By the way, it would be interesting to look at the statistics of transfers not in total (which also takes into account transfers within leagues), but only between leagues.

Liverpool will win Leicester in match, despite some of their finishers are not available for this match but the one that is available will do everything possible to defeat Leicester 2:0 for the favour of Liverpool. Leicester has shake many strong team to drop their point in this tournament but it will be difficult for them to defeat Liverpool because the team don't depend on one player.
I have that confidence that the match will not end up on draw because the two teams are well prepared to challenge each other in this tournament.

I hope Eddie Howe will escape Newcastle from relegation with the few new signings, I think once these new players are well integrated into the team, they will form a formidable team

Well, this is the issue. Newcastle this January is pure panic-buying. They were sinking towards relegation, but now they've brought in a lot of new players. It can be very difficult to integrate a lot of new players into a struggling team in mid-season. Even if it takes a month to get them into a cohesive team, that's a month that Newcastle don't have. I do still think it's likely that they'll get relegated.
It's not late, you don't need big points to escape relegation. It was always going to be panic buy. We knew that they were going to bring in some players because they needed some reinforcements to stay alive amidst the relegation battle. The new owners tried their absolute best. I don’t think anyone can question their ambition. They really needed more players, that squad they had wasn't good enough especially the defence, I am happy to see they tried to get in better defenders. The Their vision going forward. Priority now is to stay in this league. Good investment bring out good profit, watch out for them if they get relegated. Even if they do, they will out in time.

On that date Mane and Salah were back and I'm sure, with the return of the two of them will certainly make Liverpool great again. Indeed, in this match at least the team has just returned from the break but I will still consider some of the results obtained by both teams. I saw Leicester not doing so well in their away matches yesterday and because of that, I believe Leicester are still not too strong to be able to get a win in this match.

However, this is an interesting match and not easy to choose, you bet for Liverpool or Leicester. Both of them have their own style for attack, maybe it's better if We choose draw for this match than decide for one of them. Although I've looked for their odd yet, but I'm sure that draw will have a lower odd than another choice. Is there someone who has the same view ?

Newcastle has spent over 100 million on winter transfers.
they are investing a lot, the question that arises is:
Are they making a good investment? They are a team that has problems in defense and attack, I don't see them hiring good attackers, or am I missing something?

I think their investments were good enough. They have recruited the players they need. Don't forget the Newcastle League are a team at the bottom. So even if they have a lot of money, they will not be able to take star players in the team now. No star player will be included in a team whose next season in the Premier League is uncertain. Therefore, Newcastle has now formed a relatively strong team. As a result, they may be able to secure a place in the Premier League next season. They will form a stronger team next season.

This means that they definitely want to be in the Premier League next season. They are now in the relegation zone. Newcastle are 18th team in the points table.
in my opinion they should focus on having a lot of good players and they started to win games to be able to finish at least in position 6 or 7 and next season they should focus on winning the premier league, but for the signings, it seems to me that their focus is simply while remaining in the premier league

I can't find any reason to expect so much from a team that is now in the relegation zone. They have money, but that doesn't mean they're the league's top club. Gradually they have to improve themselves. Nothing is possible very quickly. Be patient. Newcastle's management is slowly trying to strengthen itself and that is what should happen.

Liverpool will really have a difficult game against Leicester next week in the league. No matter they have Salah-Mane duo or not, this game can still be very competitive. Leicester made them big difficulties before in this season. Leicester were really good in their home game in the league and won by 1-0. Actually, Liverpool played really good in that one but Leicester did a great work indeed. In Anfield, I expect another dominant Liverpool game. The most important thing is that Liverpool should be effective in finishing. Leicester are not very strong as for their defending and Liverpool have very good players at scoring. I believe in Liverpool to win this one.

Despite spending a lot of money, their performance depends on how well the players can adapt to the team. They have hired Chris Wood for 30 million to strengthen the forward. The addition of Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett will strengthen their defense. And Brazilian player Bruno Guimaraes will strengthen their midfield. Coach Eddie Howe may well be able to organize the team well.
With 15 matches to go in EPL, I hope Eddie Howe will escape Newcastle from relegation with the few new signings, I think once these new players are well integrated into the team, they will form a formidable team capable of winning matches, for now the race for clubs battling to escape relegation is hot, with that huge amount of money spent on new signings I believe Newcastle will play in the league next season, they will play a struggling Everton at home in their next match a big opportunity to get 3 points.

I actually agree with the people who think that Liverpool can still do well without Mane and Salah in the Leicester game ahead of them in the PL. Because we watched Liverpool play like this against Arsenal in the EFL Cup rematch. And we saw how great they dominated the game and won it. So, I think that Liverpool's current attacking line is still quite solid and they can defeat Leicester in Anfield. Maybe it might be a more difficult win but they can. Because I really don't like Leicester's defense as I see it as quite weak.
Bet only 10% for Leicester which means they have a mission impossible on Anfield. but in the last meet, Leicester has a winning by Ademola's goal and in Carabao event, Leicester almost won the match if in the case Minamino didn't create a goal in injury time and winning 5-4 in pinalty shoot. In the next 2 weeks, even though Liverpool has a favorite, Leicester possibly will make a surprise to draw or win with a tight different goal.

I really think that Liverpool should win this match and beat Leicester City. Leicester city has got their work cut out here. They would have to really perform well to win against Liverpool. Leicester City did beat Liverpool in the last match they played against each other and I think Liverpool will be really eager to get the revenge. And will also be keen to hold onto their winning streak.
Several team from Primer League get new player last window transfer close from Everton, Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester City are busy team to get new player, but disappointed with Leicester City not new player success get in this window transfer until close tonight. I think Liverpool can get service with player Luis Diaz against Leicester City on this week and I think not really worry how to get three points, still without Mane and Salah but Kloop have new option with Diaz playing as starting eleven faced Leicester City.
Even without Diaz Liverpool are actually able to score 3 points in the upcoming match. Because after all Liverpool was able to overcome his opponent with satisfactory results. This is based on the quality of Liverpool's players who are more independent and dominate the field. Then the presence of Diaz will certainly add a greater impetus in launching attacks.

Must admit I don't see Wood as 30M player. Hell Burnley brought in Weghorst as replacement for 12M and I think they got better player in the mix. Time will show.
Other transfers look good to me and should add some of the much needed quality to Newcastle side.

Liverpool will really have a difficult game against Leicester next week in the league.

Leicester in this season are not doing well, they are no longer that strong team that was scary, currently they drew in the last game, before they lost against tottenham, if liverpool is well in defense then they only need to score 1 goal that will win this one game

No matter they have Salah-Mane duo or not, this game can still be very competitive. Leicester made them big difficulties before in this season. Leicester were really good in their home game in the league and won by 1-0.

leicester would not be a danger to liverpool if salah and Mane are playing, even with current liverpool players they can do very well against leicester

I believe in Liverpool to win this one.

I'm also going to bet on liverpool

I believe in Liverpool to win this one.
I bet on LFC too in this game, my prediction is they could score 3 goals and maybe Leicester a goal so I also bet on BTTS. Their last defeat was quite surprising but after the defeat LFC get a positive result against their opponents won and draw means they returned consistent even after Mane and Salah missed out because AFCON they still performed well.
