And in the second half Liverpool did well but the goals were not enough from the expectations of their fans and those who supported them in bet.

Liverpool played very differently in the second half. Their performance improved and they dominated the game much more than in the first half. After halftime, Liverpool seemed to have found their rhythm again
and from the many opportunities they have, Liverpool was recorded as having 5 Shots on target. It's very different from their performance in the first half where they didn't even have a single shot on target. This victory made Liverpool get first place for the time being and this is also a good debut for their coach in the Premier League.

I didn't watch the first half because I slept off but I was lucky to watch the second half and from what I saw it was a good performance from Liverpool and good goals from Sallah and Jota. It is a good start for Liverpool and their new coach. I look forward to see how the rest of their matches outcome will be like but it does not show as if Liverpool players will drop their form because of the arrival of Arne Slot. All the matches that is ongion scoreline are the same with a 1-0 difference in the first half. Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton and Nottingham forest are leading their opponents.

Yes, Ipswich had a successful first half when they held the visitors Liverpool. Ipswich allowed Liverpool to have more possession but did not create many dangerous situations. When Liverpool attacked from home, Ipswich also closed in very quickly and fought fiercely. This style of play from Ipswich forced Liverpool to use long passes at times but the results were not very good. However, Mohamed Salah's bravery and brilliance in the second half helped Liverpool leave with all 3 points.

Liverpool's first official match under new coach Slot was difficult, but they still achieved their goal of winning the opening match. Striker Mohamed Salah is still an important factor for Liverpool this season. Mohamed Salah has truly made his name in Premier League history.

It seems like Arsenal is not willing to give up again this fresh season, they are currently having a good game, they scored one goal in the first half by Kai Havertz through a great cross for Bukayo Saka. Saka is here again this season with amazing performance, so far, Arsenal dominated the first half even though Wolves have some chances including a good cross that was saved by David Rays.

The first half has ended, and 1-0 is the score line. I will be expecting more goals in the game in the second half because Arsenal is already missing some chances which I am sure will be corrected in the second half.

Lol. What were the odds? And why did you make that bet overall rather than a simple Liverpool win or a Liverpool win with a handicap? I think that was much safer.
I may be wrong, but exotic (probably this is subjective, but for me these bets are exotic) bets are best made in games where the outcome is not obvious, like Chelsea - City and the like.

Chelsea were one of the most disappointing teams last season. But this year they have been one of the most active teams in the summer transfer window. This season they will try to make up for last year. Chelsea parted ways with many potential players and replaced them with more affordable players like Neto, Dewsbury-Hall, Jorgensen, Kellyman. I am also curious to see what kind of potential Chelsea will show as they start the new season with Enzo Maresca, the manager who took Leicester City to the Premier League.

Manchester City, on the other hand, started the season by winning the Community Sheild cup against arch rivals Manchester United. Manchester City did not take much action in the transfer market and kept the basic structure of the squad intact. With Pep Guardiola keeping the plan of the champion team, we will watch a good City this season. I expect a cautious start from both teams in this match and Chelsea could start the season with a surprise.

Being an Arsenal fan, I am very interested in this game and currently following it up online, can't watch the match as I am not at home currently, it's already around 12 minutes into the game and non of the clubs have scored a goal yet, though this is highly expected since not just the game, but also the tournament is just starting for most of the clubs, which simply means that the current ongoing match is the very first for this season.

Right now, it's hard to tell who would win as I personally don't want to be too forward in saying Arsenal would win the match, but then, both team seems to be moving on nicely with the game Arsenal is gradually building their stats and currently sits at 58 percent possession and 83 passes, while wolves as expected have lesser numbers with 42 percent possession and 64 passes, shots on Target 1 for Arsenal and 0 for wolves.

I look forward to a great game for Arsenal, but first, let's see how the first half will end.

Liverpool delivered what was expected of them as a top team that's above Ipswich Town in all areas of comparison. Wasn't expecting anything below the 3 point they secured knowing this is just the best time to get as much point as possible from less competitive team like Ipswich town.

this is the premier league, teams here don't take games for granted and they will have to learn a whole lot of lessons the hard way if the don't sit up and fight to push their way up the table. Their next premier league match is against a more competitive team which is man city and if they loose it again it's going to be demoralizing and yye coming games don't look easy at all for them. It's the beauty of the premiership, if you want to become a part of the teams in the premier league, you've got to prove a point and show that you deserve it or you will be sent home in less than no time.

Even though Liverpool won today, we still can't measure their ability because Ipswich Town as newcomers is not a worthy opponent for them but it must be admitted that it seems there is no change at Liverpool they still play as usual. We are still waiting for another match between Arsenal vs Wolves previously I bet on Arsenal to win in the first half but 20 minutes of the match have passed and there are still no goals it's just not too worrying because Arsenal continue to attack the opponent's defense. I predict Arsenal will score 2-3 goals based on match statistics with 4 shots and 2 on target.

LoL that statement really got me cracking, Ipswich town came out to play out their best, they where really impressive during their first half approach, but not as willing to lose points as you've put in their debut match as a newly promoted team. Don't forget that Liverpool is one of those clubs that have experience players with a lot of experience in the premier league, on like Ipswich town that are still trying to put themselves together on a new environment they've recently been promoted to.

The Liverpool new coach is currently sitting ontop of the premium league with this victory, it's a good start for the new coach, let's just watch how he is going to sustain the tempo.

I too, don't doubt Liverpool to win because Arne Slot also still looks fine and has no difficulty making Liverpool continue to be good. Because I think the factor of not buying new players is also proof that Arne Slot is able to maximize the potential of the players in the Liverpool squad. Therefore, at least the victory factor obtained by Liverpool in the pre-season match also gives at least a little consideration to Liverpool being able to win in their first match this season against Ipswich.

But even so, at least Ipswich also managed to put up a good fight in this match because if not, Liverpool might have won from half time. Even Yesterday match, we all know that Fulham played more than Manchester United. And they won the match because of the new intake and this season will be a tough for many clubs. But has Fulham has seen their first leg with Manchester United then their next match will be a tough game.

What killed Fulham was the attack because Rodrigo Muniz was not strong enough to attack Bruno Fernandes. I was even surprised to see Manchester United won the game. Probably their next match, we will know better.

Good start for the new coach, good three points to make a record of being the second Liverpool manager to win his opening game. Arsenal's game will start soon and it has to be a win for them if they are to start the season good too like Manchester United have and Liverpool. Arsenal was a team in last season that scored a lot of goals, maybe they can continue like that this season. Chelsea and Manchester may have to share points tomorrow, or one of them be one of first big team to loose. This season in the premier league just feels very more serious, like something that will be tougher than last season where the difference in points between the top teams was not so much until the very last few Game weeks.

A good match Liverpool and as I thought they would definitely have no trouble even though they haven't brought in any new players this season.
