Manchester United performed very faithfully here, as most of the punters were betting on Manchester United and I was one of them. Because I knew that between these two squads, Manchester United's squad is stronger and full of experienced players, although Fulham's squad was made up of eleven and experienced players, but they could not play confidently in this match. The defenders tried hard to defend but Manchester United's attacks were different. So in this new season the players of Manchester United team have performed very well and the fans of Manchester United team are calm.


From the start of the game, both teams had the will to win, but only the better and more skilled players could win most of the matches. But Fulham team tried hard but their attacks were very weak, but Manchester United team's defense and goalkeeper were most alert.  
That's why the opposing team was not able to score, the goalkeeper of Manchester United team digested their attacks very easily. But the attack department of Manchester United team is the most aggressive which is why they have success with only few attacks.

I thought Liverpool would be able to dominate the game because their opponent is a team that has just been promoted to the Premier League but, it turned out that Ipswich was able to hold Liverpool to a draw until the first half ended. What I saw was that Ipswich had very high motivation and did not look tired of chasing wherever the ball was, and it seems that is what makes it difficult for Liverpool to penetrate (Liverpool didn't even have a shot on target throughout the first half).

Liverpool still had a chance because there was still the second half but they had to improve their performance because if they kept playing like the first half, then it will be difficult for them to get 3 points.

Ipswich Town vs Liverpool

Ipswich Town XI: Walton, Tuanzebe, Woolfenden, Greaves, Davis, Morsy, Luongo, Burns, Chaplin, Hutchinson, Delap.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Diaz, Jota.

Liverpool are currently doing very well and Ipswich Town and making their first appearance in Premier League after long term and they are hosting their first match, Liverpool haven't lost in their last 9 matches, so let see how the match will end.

I was never discouraged because I had the believe in Gnarcho that he can score anytime as long as the game is not yet over unknown to me that it will be Zirkzee who will do the magic for United in order for them to secure three full point to start the season with. Zirkzee was able to score his first goal to Manchester united on his first appearance for the United in EPL. It is a good start for him and it shows that he is coping with United football pattern

The opening match of the Premier League was quite entertaining overall, Fulham put up a fierce fight even though they were playing away. For Manchester United, this victory is a good start after last season very disappointing performance, besides that we must give Ten Hag time to go through the adaptation period with the new season. If you look at the match statistics, Manchester United managed to dominate Fulham, both in terms of ball possession and the number of shots on target. This is just the beginning, of course there are still many improvements that Ten Hag must make in the future.

This is what happens t them in every single match. They always could Ive scored more goals but then end up missing them. I dont really know but they are really dead on luck. Its always hard time chasing after them, match by match, league to league. If we recall the community shield against Manchester City, it was this same hard luck that was on them. With so may tries and so many attempts in their opponent post they couldn't score more than one goals, it was even a surprise that they score one goal in the game. At the same time it was difficult for them to protect the goal from Manchester City equalizing.

I dont see any improvement yesterday. Dont you know if there were more time in the game after Manchester United scored that Fulham would equalize later on. Thats the sad truth and we all know that.

In the match against Fulham, Manchester United managed to win the match with a narrow score. This match is indeed crucial, because Manchester United almost failed to win this match. But fortunately, Zirkzee, as a new player who had just debuted in the opening match of the Premier League, was able to score the only goal that saved Manchester United. Apart from that, in this match Manchester United created many very good opportunities, but unfortunately these opportunities could not be maximized properly by the Manchester United players. Maybe Rasmus' absence in this match will have a big impact on Manchester United's front line. Because if we talk about the attack patterns and passes used by Manchester United players in this match, they are very good. However, unfortunately the Manchester United players did not take full advantage of this opportunity. Then what made me laugh a little in this match was Garnacho who failed to execute a kick perfectly when facing the Fulham goalkeeper. Even though this opportunity was really very good, because Garnacho's position was free from the obstacles of the Fulham defenders, it was a shame that Garnacho slipped and failed to increase Manchester United's lead. And the conclusion I can draw from Manchester United's performance in this match, if only Zirkzee had been included as a starter, I'm sure Manchester United would have won by more than 2 goals. Because in this match, Bruno Fernandes was actually started on Manchester United's front line, and the results were less than satisfactory.

They got 3 points which is perfect but I dont think they played perfectly in this first match of the new season as I do not see something special with their performance.
I know this is the first match but I'm worrying if they cant improve a lot, they will get something better compared to the previous season.
Bruno who was forced to be stricker could not show his best performance like when play in his original position, Rashford also not playing good although he almost make his first assist but Garnacho failed to finish the assist to be a goal.
Bruno should be placed in his original position to make the team better and Ten Haag should have other option to replace Hojlund till he come back.

Manchester United started the 2024-2025 campaign perfectly, securing full points in front of their home fans, albeit with a narrow 1-0 victory. Ten Hag tried to get around the absence of Rasmus Hojlund by pushing Bruno Fernandes as a second striker, the experiment could not work because Fulham had a solid defense. Ten Hag decision to rotate Mason Mount with Joshua Zirkzee was the right move, Manchester United game becomes more aggressive when they have a pure striker. In my opinion, Ten Hag must be more careful in determining the starting XI in the future, so that his team no longer has difficulty winning matches.

My decision was right with my doubts to put a bet on Manchester United was wrong, even though Manchester United won narrowly and it was very obvious that Manchester United were still having difficulty in finding points even though they were playing at home, I was worried that my bet was not on my side in my predictions and beliefs for Manchester United I know that Fulham is better than Manchester United, with conditions like this Ten Hag has not changed Manchester United much in the last few seasons.

Manchester United were wasted in that game. They could have score more than 2 goals in that game. Ten hag has to address the wastefulness of his team. Overall, they had a good game. They were able to keep down Fulham and Adama Traore's physical presence in the attack. The defense was solid and with the new signings, they were able to play from the back and press as a team.

The season just started but they have shown a little improvement. I think they’re still going for some players in the market, and couple with the return of their injured players, they’ll have a chance this season.
