Since the start of the 2023/24 season, no player have had more goals involvement in the English Premier League than Cole Palmer. The England attacker have two more than Manchester City's Erling Haaland. Considering the fact that Cole Palmer was deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester City which made them allow him join Chelsea last year's summer, do you think Pep Guardiola and the management of Manchester City is now regretting the decision to allow him go or not? Would he have been this prolific if he had remained at Manchester City?

Cole Palmer is able to shine brightly at Chelsea because Chelsea is only full of young players whose quality is not much different from Palmer or slightly below Palmer. But when he was at Man City we knew Cole Palmer had difficulty competing there. Because we know Man City is always full of star players and experienced players. I'm happy that Cole Palmer is coming to Chelsea. Because that way he can show his true potential to everyone. Because if he stays in Man City then I think this player will find it difficult to show his potential. Because he won't have enough playing time to show it. And I don't think Pep Guardiola will regret losing Cole Palmer either. because Man City currently has many good players who can actually be relied on to make Man City continue to dominate the Premier League and even in the UCL. Cole Palmer is still young and he will still get better. So he really should be at Chelsea, which is much more interested in potential young players who will continue to be developed into better players. Meanwhile, in Man City, we always see that the players there have to be ready for much more difficult challenges. So it requires much more mature experience.

And talking about the Liverpool VS Wolves match, in that match, Salah and his teammates played quite well. The reason is that in this match Liverpool played carefully and was well organized. So even though Liverpool didn't score many goals in this match, Liverpool could win the match well. And if Liverpool can maintain their good performance and consistently win in the English league, I think it is clear that Liverpool can become champions in the English league.
Previously I myself did not really think that Liverpool could overtake Manchester City, but in fact they managed to do this, with their victory against Wolves this made them get points that could be superior to Manchester City with the previous two matches only ending in a draw. With the journey still far away Liverpool is not safe enough because in my opinion there is still a threat that they could be shifted again.
Saying Liverpool can win the Premier League right now may be too early, but we don't know what the future will be like, whether Arsenal and Manchester City can take back their rankings or not, but what is clear is that Liverpool will definitely maintain their ranking by showing the best in their performance.

Yeah saying way too much earlier that LFC will be champions of EPL 2024/25 it's a very long journey in which you should must be consistent and execute plans on the pitch accordingly then you or your team will be able to win the title.

I don't think Pep Guardiola or Manchester city's management is regretting not signing Cole Palmer because his team is still performing very well and Erling Halland is also a goal scorer so the only thing that would have made Pep Guardiola regret not signing Cole Palmer would have been if his team are not performing well or if he didn't have a striker who would match up Cole palmer's goal scoring record and if not for the 4 goals Cole Palmer scored on saturday, Erling Halland would have been the top goal scorer yet. But seriously Cole Palmer did a wonderful job for Chelsea last Saturday because scoring 4 consecutive goals in a row in either halves is a record kept by only few players in the history of football which are Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Jermain Defoe, Sergio Aguero and now Cole Palmer.
From now onward Pep and City management will regret to not sign this young Exciting talent because Palmer is a real threat for every team in EPL. No doubt in City they go for a Halland which is not a bad move but defiantly Palmer is still hunting Peps mind.

Well, if we talk about Chelsea's inconsistency last season, it will make us a little pessimistic about this team this season. But for a while Chelsea did look extraordinary. And you are right that it would be quite good if Chelsea continued to maintain their current form. And actually it would also be extraordinary if Chelsea continued to maintain its performance until the end of the season. But we are still at the beginning of the season. So there will still be more match results that may be unexpected.

But next week Chelsea will be tested again and it is hoped that they can get full points again. because we might at first glance think that fighting against Nottingham doesn't seem like it will be that difficult. But in reality it looks like it will be quite a fierce match. because Nottingham has also started the season quite well so far. And Nottingha, only suffered 1 defeat at the start of this season. And the number of points that Nottingham currently has is the same as the number of points that Brighton has. So it can be said that Nottingham has a performance that we should not underestimate this season.

Nottingham Forst is one of the big surprises to me. They have had a few good games last season, but it was close in the end as they made the cut with 32 points only because Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield were playing miserably. But I agree with you that Nottingham is not that team anymore that grants the opponent three points almost for free.

You can see the defense improved significantly. Now after six games they conceded five goals. Last season they conceded 67 goals, which averages out to around 1.9 or so while at the moment they are conceding less than one goal per game and that makes a huge difference even if their weakness is scoring goals themselves. But for as long as they know they are not conceding two goals per game, scoring one can already mean valuable points for them.

Ipswich Town hosted Aston Villa at home. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, making it 4 draws after losing the first 2 weeks against the league's fixtures. After leading 2-1 at half time, Aston Villa couldn't show much in the second half. Ipswich town stepped up the pressure and scored the equalizer to take 1 point from this tough encounter.
Tottenham, on the other hand, managed to beat Manchester United away. With Fernandes' red card towards the end of the first half, Manchester United, whose chances of winning were diminishing, were defeated by 3 goals from their opponent.
Ipswich team performance is not up to mark and they barely level the game but is good for Ipswich to show that kind of intent against Aston Villa team which is far more better than Ipswich.
And about Man U and Tottenham, they completely dominated the game and secured 3 points at Man U home.

Certainly Cole Palmer would have been more good than this if he had go to Manchester City considering his efforts in scoring even when he has a limited resources in terms of assistance in Chelsea but he still manages to deliver, so certainly he would have score far more higher than Haaland if he was to be in Manchester City because everything he would need in terms assist and those that would create scoring opportunity for him are all there, so it would have been much easier for him since he is also an Independent player. However let's imagine Haaland and Cole Palmer to exchange team, there is no way Haaland will even score the way he normally do in Manchester City.
Palmer is an outstanding and perfect player to watch in terms of dribbling passing and sprinting he is a proper athlete and a player who scores on any pitch against any team. The way he played his previous game showed some lovely free-kick goals and close-range goals and still, he is way underrated in the EPL top performers list i don't know why but he is a pure and exciting young Chelsea player to watch.

Played 6 matches, got 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses for a total of 7 points. That's what Manchester United have got so far this season, I don't think they deserve these conditions with the squad they have. Many people started to comment that ETH's strategy was not suitable for the players, some even linked it with Jadon Sancho who could perform well at Chelsea.

Their latest defeat at the Theater of Dreams against Tottenham Hotspur really surprised many people, is it time for ETH to leave Manchester United? If he really leaves, who do you think is a suitable manager at Manchester United?

I remember the times when coaches themselves resigned after unsuccessful results. But firstly, they are long gone, and secondly, Ten Hag lives in his own world where almost everything is good, only a few little things remain to be corrected. I believe the club is already looking for a replacement, but I don't understand why they can't fire him right now and give someone temporary management? It can't get any worse.

They can't fire Ten Hag because they should have paid £17.5m compensation to him. I think that's why they chose to wait for a positive result. Instead of sacking him, and recruit a new caretaker until the season's end. It's a double-edged sword for them.

My numbers above are according to the latest report here.
Man U higher authorities confirmed that they are not sacking or firing the Ten Hag and they showed their confidence in them as well they wish him that his game plan works and is executed properly but still management is waiting for good results but sadly they haven't succeeded yet.

Bournemouth vs Southampton

Bournemouth (confirmed lineup): Kepa Arrizabalaga, Adam Smith, Illia Zabarnyi, Marcos Senesi, Milos Kerkez, Ryan Christie, Lewis Cook, Antoine Semenyo, Dango Ouattara, Marcus Tavernier, Evanilson.

Southampton (confirmed lineup): Aaron Ramsdale, Yukinari Sugawara, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jan Bednarek, Charlie Taylor, Flynn Downes, Lesley Ugochukwu, Maxwel Cornet, Mateus Fernandes, Ryan Fraser, Tyler Dibling.

Southampton are really battling to survive because they haven't recorded a single win since the starting of the league, this is so bad for them and they are going to be playing their 6th game of the season. Bournemouth only have a win too since the start, and they will be playing at Vitality Stadium which is their home, this game is very difficult to predict because currently Southampton have 3 wins against Bournemouth that have only two wins, and Southampton are not in good shape but let see whether they can perform miracles tonight at Vitality Stadium.

As hosts in this match, I think Bournemouth will win this match. And this season Bournemouth also looks much better than Southampton. Bournemouth have won 1 win this season and have only lost 2 times. Meanwhile, Southampton has suffered 4 defeats and they have never won a match at the start of this season.

My predicted score for this match is that Bournemouth will win with a score of 2-0. Even though I'm not really sure, I want to try to trust Bournemouth for this match.

I would say Manchester United management should have looked for a new experienced coach earlier in the season. We saw poor performances from Barcelona and Bayern Munich last season. But both these clubs have changed their coaches. And both teams are in great form this season. La Liga and Bundesliga are now dominated by Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

We have seen this poor performance from Manchester United in the last few seasons. It was only last season that we realized that this team was impossible to improve with Ten Hag. However, Manchester United management once again offered Ten Hag a chance. And Manchester United's performance in this season is also very bad. Unless the coach changes, it is foolish to expect anything better from this team.

There is something off about Erik confidence and the things that he do say and comments after their games especially the games they lost and it seems to me that the contact he signed with Manchester United don't just give him the job as a coach and manager of the club but also protect him from been sack and replace by another person and he doesn't even get scared like other coaches do, not even remorseful but will complain about the players.

He is used to "sack" statement anytime he lost a match, doesn't this and that and doesn't care if he is sack for not winning but they have a lot of works to do. Pochettino didn't last long when he was saying those statements but here we are with Erik confidence. Today, barely 12 hours when they lost their match against Tottenham, he quickly came to Old Trafford for training, I don't know who gave him advice but he was quick to the field today, very unpredictable manager with ego.

In fact, we were all surprised by Ten Hag not being fired at the end of last season after Manchester United had very bad results in the Premier League and also in the UCL. Ten Hag's career was saved only because Manchester United won the FA Cup last season. And the funny thing is that we weren't the only ones surprised at that time. Because I read a news story at that time that talked about Manchester United players who were also surprised to hear that Ten Hag had not been fired and that Ten Hag would still be their coach next season.

Now Manchester United is really having a pretty bad season again. because currently Manchester United is even ranked 12th. Chelsea, which everyone doubts, is currently in a better ranking. In fact, in the last two seasons we have seen that Chelsea and Manchester United have had the same problem regarding their consistency on the field. But it seems like Chelsea have been able to overcome their problems. Meanwhile, Manchester United still cannot overcome their problems.

One of the most plausible reasons I can think of is that Manchester United don't want to pay a compensation fee for Ten Hag if they sack him while his contract is active. If they realize that Ten Hag cannot improve what they expect, then it should be easy for Manchester United to fire him like the decision of other clubs to fire their coaches. I have no other reason, in fact I believe Manchester United no longer fully trusts Ten Hag's ability to manage the team.

The depth of the squad must be increased, the coach must be replaced, even according to some advice I think Manchester United's management also needs to change. I mean, it's probably time to consider a change of owner if this club wants to be the best competitor in the Premier League again instead of just Manchester City.

Ten Hag outspent every other manager that came before him. At this point, even Manchester United fans find it difficult to defend Erik Ten Hag and want him gone.
How will anyone even support Ten Hag with his current performance? Manchester United fans are really the ones calling for his sack, Manchester United performances have been so poor since last season, Manchester United are struggling with even clubs that they are supposed to win comfortably, Manchester United fans are just tired with the disappointment that they are getting from the club whenever they play, and they know the problem is not from the players alone, the coach also has to be blame because he is not just making use of the right players in matches, it’s just like Ten Hag is having some kind of personal problem with some players.

Ten Hag is a difficult manager to work with and he’s also not getting results. If the hierarchy of Manchester United could let Ronaldo and Sancho go just to please the manager, I doubt they would sack him. Last season, there were rumours that Erik Ten Hag was going to be sacked. The worst thing that happened to Manchester United was winning the FA Cup. It gave United the false impression that Ten Hag was going to turn things around for the club. Things have gone from bad to worst under Ten Hag. What would it take for Manchester United to fire Ten Hag?

It's quite unfortunate how the great  Manchester United has fallen so greatly. It pains knowing how much their management has failed in providing a solid squad. However  the only solution to this mess is a change in management, I believe  ten hag has failed  and this is actually  bringing the team to an undesired level. He needs to be compensated and let go else they might end the season really  close to the relegated zone, and if not careful  they might relegate this season, because its obvious  almost  every team is taking their turn in defeating Manchester  United. Ten hag has made several unfavorable transfer decision.

Manchester United can get all the whole players they want during the transfer window but that won't solve the problem, we can say that Manchester United has been amongst the most active team in Europe during the transfer window, making top signing on different positions but as the season has commenced we haven't seen that pay off.

The issue for Manchester United is the mentality not the money they have to spend. I must say that Ten Hag isn't the man Manchester United needs. The team goes into every season knowing they won't win the league, UCL and at their best they can only hope for the FA Cup. This isn't the mentality that kept Manchester United on top during sir Alex Ferguson era.
I agree with you that Ten Hag is not suitable as Manchester United coach. Moreover, in Ten Hag's third season at Manchester United, the quality of Manchester United game has continued to deteriorate even though Manchester United has spent a lot of money recruiting players that Ten Hag wants. It is time for Manchester United's management to find a replacement for Ten Hag so that Manchester United's performance can improve again and can become a respected club in the fight for the championship title in various competitions as it did during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
The hardest part for ETH right now that he has very tough two games ahead of him. They are going to play against Porto and then Villa. Porto did lose their first game unexpectedly so they will want to get points from this without a doubt, while maybe it could end in a draw, we know that Porto will do their very best to win this game no matter what, and that's the most important thing. If United loses that, then they are going to face Villa, who has been doing amazing so far and did very well even last year, so there is a big chance that Villa will win, even odds say that Villa should be winning the game.

So because of that, there is a potential that they could end with two more losses back to back. In that case, maybe they will fire ETH right on the spot after Villa game, and try to find some other manager during the internation break and get some good manager, don't know who they can get at the middle of the season but they really do need to find someone.

Lampard and Potter are both free agents right now, and I honestly can't see how either could be worse than ETH, they both could do better job, not sure but it's a possibility. And for foreigners we have Tuchel and Xavi, I know Tuchel could be great there is no doubt, Xavi is questionable but could do very well too. I think they should at least go and talk and see if it can be done.

The first half as we saw Man United couldn't do much on the pitch, the goal came too soon but Onana after that managed to thwart several threats. Bruno's red card is a big loss because there is still 1 more round that will certainly make Spurs more free to press. Man United will struggle to get out of the danger zone and it should be an easy game for Spurs. Erik Ten Hag replacing Mainoo with Mount means United will try to defend and rely solely on counterattacks.

If Man United lose, is it time for Erik Ten Hag to get a warning letter from Ineos and Sir Jim?  Grin
I think the players are so sick of Ten Hag that they would do anything, even lose, to get him fired. Apparently Fernandez just lost his nerve, because the suspension was absolutely stupid, although after the match Ten Hag will probably say that the suspension broke the game, but I think no one takes his words seriously anymore.
Of course, other EPL teams are interested in Ten Hag coaching MU as long as possible, because as long as he is the head coach, Manchester United will probably not have much success.
True, the players looked down today but I don’t think they are trying to sabotage Erik Ten Hag. His future at Manchester United has been in danger for a long time now. This is Erik Ten Hag’s third season of coaching this set of players, he recruited these players himself, they were not forced on him so we can’t put the blame on the players. IMO United were going to lose the match even if they didn’t get a red card. Erik Ten Hag needs to leave if Manchester United wants to survive this season.
Erik Ten Hag should have left a long time ago and I was surprised when he was not sacked at the end of the year, because the results were average and Manchester United invested a lot of money in players, maybe a little less than Chelsea, but still it was a huge amount, and no one sees the results.
Although I still don't understand why Pocchietino was sacked at the end of last season, but now we see how Maresca has improved the team and Chelsea are having one of their best seasons in recent years and I think that if Ten Hag had been sacked at the end of last season, Manchester United could also have had a good start to the season on that occasion but unfortunately Ten Hag still in charge.
