if Guardianola is still coaching Barcelona who is currently experiencing financial problems, I think of course Guardiola will not be able to revive Barcelona.

I don't think anyone can revive Barcelona at the moment. All they can do is bring in some of their talented youngsters and hope they mature quickly. Other than that I suppose it's a case of letting players on big money run their contracts down, or sell anyone they can get decent money for. The only thing that can fix Barca is time, it doesn't matter who they bring in as manager really, a new manager can't solve this.
Yes, that's why I say that the greatness of Manchester City today is not 100% the result of guardiola performance, a team that has a lot of money can certainly improve its team as best as possible, compared to a team that has a good coach but instead has poor players, indeed we can't argue if guardiola has an important role in building the manchester squad to the extent it is today, but of course we also have to see how the condition of the team he has coached so far, I think besides Wenger there is no coach in the English league who is able to build a squad well with only minimal funds.

Are there any news regarding the postponements? I see that a lot of games are postponed (only 2 out of 6 games are to be played tomorrow and Everton - Leicester won't be played on Sunday).
They were discussing the postponement of the whole round and Carabao Cup games as well, but for now it seems like half of the games will be played which doesn't make much sense at all. Leeds is set to play and they have 11 senior players available in their roster, with 2 of them being goalkeepers.

There isn't any clear discussion on the suspension of the games but yeah some managers have dropped in their suggestions but right now PL intends to  "continue its current fixture schedule where safely possible" (Source) . Guess they are just postponing the games against the teams which are COVID affected and doesn't have much players to play the game. Haven't seen any real update though but guess we have five games on schedule for this gameweek.

Postponing matches is not something that everyone wants, but either way, the health of players and staff is the priority of every team. Hopefully, the Covid outbreak in the UK will subside soon, so that the Premier League can run normally again.

The Premier League still has a long way to go, so it's still a bit difficult to talk about the champion, but at least we all know that Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man City are strong candidates to win the EPL. Chelsea's performance is not so good at the moment. Even when they play at home, they have to settle for a draw against Everton, but I think this is something that is natural because every team will not always be at their best.
Because world are fearful of Omicron variant and they are over-reacting with it. They don't want all achievements big or small so far will become nothing. So they decided to close any risky events and activities that can help the variant virus spreads too fastly and invade deeply into communities.

It's true that the journey in the English league will not be easy, full of twists and turns and also difficult in terms of other challenges, with the top clubs in the English league, it will not be as smooth as for the victory. Surely from them there are winners, draws and loses, even a low team can beat a top team and this is all in the EPL.
There's still another 1/2 season to fight for the championship but I think it's most appropriate that we've seen how the points get on the top teams.
I think they will open the league again because I think pandemic now is better than about 1 year ago when we did not have vaccines and most of population did not have antigen against the virus. Now overally, we have better ability to fight against virus even it is a newly and probably more infectious variant.

As league operators, they will do their best to keep the league opens because it relates to many financial issues. Closing the league will be nightmare for all

Leicester was supposed to play their home match today against Tottenham. But the game have been postponed. However, this will give Leicester enough time to prepare for their next match, which will be against Everton and will be played on the 19th.
While Chelsea will face Everton today, am expecting Chelsea to win this match with 2 to 3 goals. Chelsea have a strong squad compared to that of Everton, I don't think Everton can be able to withstand Chelsea.
Leicester was literally destroyed by City 2 days ago and getting more time to swallow that defeat and standing up again is a good thing imo, especially that they will have difficult games before the end of the year vs Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa.
For today's matches, Chelsea and Liverpool should get the 3 points without hassle.

It was a clear win on City's side, even though they were caught off guard from the start. But the quality comparison is far enough for Leicester to be able to beat City later in the match next week. After dropping Leeds with a fantastic score, it was clear that Man City had quite a big point increase at that time. In a few more days with Newcastle, I can see even bigger points. That's the prediction I'm trying to bet on.

because the bigger problem I think is in the club, not the team. those in the field carry out the strategy from the manager. whereas managers need good players to execute strategies to be successful.
to get these good players, of course, requires funding from the club. it possible to raise the name of their junior academy. and of course, it will only require small funds. not as big as when it comes to bringing in megastars.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
This weekend looks like it will be a disappointment for many league fans in the EPL, the surge in covid19 there means many matches will be postponed and only a few of the matches still to be played. I'm curious if there will be further tests or checks if they really have been affected by covid19, because I'm just worried that they're being dishonest and both can happen like making up and hiding the truth. Because even in other leagues it looks like it is still running normally and even though there is a spike but the league is still running without spectators like in the Bundesliga. Well, I hope they are all safe and sound from the surge in covid19, I understand because after all, health is the most important thing.
to be honest i wouldn't be surprised if they temporarily cancel the premier league because from what i see this outbreak will only be contained if a tougher measure is taken something like stopping the premier league for 2 weeks or 1 month so that players can stay in quarantine each 1 of them and the fans also stay at home to contain this outbreak, if this measure is not taken, there will come a time when all players will be infected and it will be difficult to deal with this situation because while some teams have postponed games, others continue to play and have more points and this creates pressure for the teams that are in quarantine to lose points

Do we know which matches will be postponed? Because if the number is big enough, I guess that the best way for all the teams is to close the entire league. They know though that all the revenues will be closed as well, meaning almost zero incoming funds, so they will consider it twice before they make such a move.
IMO they will follow the Bundesliga model to get something from the television contracts and not to lose everything.

Do you mean to win the Champions League? This is likely, at least Chelsea has the same chances as the rest of the main contenders. If you mean getting into the Champions League next year, then there is nothing to worry about - Chelsea will not drop below 4th place 100%.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City points are not so far apart, they only need 1-2 game results to be able to shift each other's positions. I agree with you, Chelsea still has the potential to be in the Top 3 even though at the moment they are not in good form.

Manchester City under Guardiola's coaching is fantastic in terms of scoring goals. During the period of Guardiola being their coach, it has been 500 goals. This is a positive result for Guardiola, and City deserves to keep for more season. Guardiola very amazing to made his team so productive to score in every matches.

Guardiola is a great coach. He wanted to form a stable team. And he got it. Manchester City are a stable enough team. All the players on the team can perform tremendously in their place. Guardiola has an extraordinary squad, as well as his match strategy is too much good. Manchester City can perform well against a strong team due to good match strategy.
Yes we admit that guardiola so far have had good performances in manchester city, but I don't think it's entirely from guardiola greatness so far, we know that manchester city is a rich team and it's easy for them to sign any player that Guardiola likes, according to To me, it is actually the power of Manchester City money that is able to make Guardiola successful in forming a good team, if Guardianola is still coaching Barcelona who is currently experiencing financial problems, I think of course Guardiola will not be able to revive Barcelona.

The main goal of the Guardiola in Manchester City is to win the Champions League. Manchester City like last year is one of the likely winners. I think Guardiola wants this itself as much as the club and as long as the team is all right he'll be able to work in city. And after so much time I can't even imagine who could be better than him for the club.

Damn, what's going on with Chelsea? Why can't they win such a simple match? I think a lot of multi bets have collapsed today because of this match.
Like I have said, Chelsea has really deteriorated, the club had the zeal when it was at the top, the zeal was reduced when the club dropped to 3rd position on EPL league table. I hope Chelsea will be able to fight for Champions League. For Chelsea to win the EPL title this season is getting more impossible.

About bet, yes, many people have lost bet already but there is nothing bad for us to usese what we can afford to lose and never affecting us negatively.

As for the bets, I would not say that it is so easy to lose. Since people are betting (especially in such an obvious match), they expect a positive outcome.

For Chelsea itself it is true, they inevitably have to stay in 4th position until the end of the season and only rotate from 1, 2, 3, and 4. drastic decline from Chelsea performance. Because at this time Chelsea can still be said to be a pretty tough club, so getting points back can be done. Wouldn't worry too much about Chelsea's move. I still support him for one season if he really stays in the top 4.

The coronavirus is increasing measures in the Premier league.  Manchester United have announced that they are closing their club training facilities for 24 hours.  Increasing coronavirus cases are thought to have contributed to this decision.
This kind of thing needs to be watched out for by the competing teams because they certainly don't want what happened to Tottenham Hotspur to happen to them too. This new variant spread so fast and Tottenham hotspur are now worst affected.
Several players and their staff have contracted this virus and their matches have had to be postponed due to a lack of players.
I hope this doesn't drag on for a long time
Unfortunately, those who are infected must be quarantined for at least a week until they are declared negative, which means there will be many mainstay players who are not sent down. this new variant really bothers MU and also Tottenham who are struggling to raise their rankings.
until now there is still no official statement from management regarding this, hopefully it will not be as bad as Tottenham because this will be very dangerous.
On the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, a few months ago there was a storm like this and at that time Greenwod, Pogba and a number of other names were exposed to this virus.
This is a serious matter for all teams in the EPL to pay attention to

I read this news 13 hours ago in local media some players have been confirmed to have this virus and the training session is cancelled
There is a possibility that the next match will be postponed at least for the next 1-2 weeks. It was very strange that before the game all the players were normal but after the game against Norwich some of the players were infected.
This week they were supposed to face Leicester in the Premier League but indeed because of this virus their match is now officially postponed and this is the third time their match has been postponed after matches against Brighton and Rennes also in the Europa League they had to be postponed.
This is certainly something that is dangerous because it can indirectly delay the schedule of several other matches.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon

Chelsea dominated in their game against Everton with 81% ball possession. They also got 10 shot on target, but they couldn't achieve 3 points from the match. Everyone expected Chelsea to win this match. Many people including me placed a bet on Chelsea. Even when the first half ended in goalless draw. I thought Chelsea will bounce back in the second half and probably win the game. But, unfortunately Branthwaite equalized the match 4 minutes after Mount was able to score. And the match ended with 1-1 draw. However, Chelsea are now 3 points behind Liverpool, and with their performance lately It will be quiet difficult for them to slide up on the table.
Chelsea is getting very easy to play against these days. All the opponent got to do is just sit back and wait on the ball to counter attack because all Chelsea do is pass the ball from side to side with out any offensive plans. I don't know if the mounting injury list has been the reason why they are dropping points in three of their last five Premier League fixtures. Chelsea, who were initially a point clear of Manchester City in the league standings, are now four points adrift of Pep Guardiola's side. They are also three points behind second-placed Liverpool. It is just a bit hard to find the balance in the squad with the missing players, this will probably be the toughest period off their season.
Whereas previously Chelsea looked perfect when playing without a pure striker, but this time when several key players from the midfielder were also injured Chelsea couldn't do anything more like before. It's a shame of course, because before I also thought Chelsea could really play without a key player which means, Chelsea doesn't depend on one or two players but the fact is now at least it's proven.

Chelsea can still survive in the top 3 and is far different from Arsenal's points. I think it's still quite safe and only Chelsea can catch up with those at the top with the next win.
Tuchel can certainly overcome this so that Chelsea will retain their title despite the tough competition and Pep Guardiola is a great coach who can improve the quality of Mancity's game, as well as Klopp who is a top coach by maximizing his tactics.

Well done Liverpool.
Liverpool  scored 3 excellent goals by diago, salah and Alexander. Liverpool is good that I knew before the match the team will do so great. Newcastle tried their  best too in the game with only just 1 goal.

If Newcastle fight like that tor the rest of the season they have a great chance to stay in the league. Liverpool are just far too good for them & it showed. Liverpool are far too good for most teams in Europe.
Newcastle's quick goal is pure luck and not consistent

Liverpool have a very high-quality Moh Salah, apart from that the other players also have good cooperation, so Liverpool are an extraordinary team
