Pre-season matches are not a special benchmark, but if you have to reflect a little, there's nothing wrong with it. When playing against Man United who are known to be active in the transfer market, they were still unable to beat Liverpool format which was still the same and suffered a 0-3 defeat. This means that there is no guarantee that actively bringing in players can have a positive impact if the selection of players is not right.

I would also like to see Arsenal become champions. Manchester City has been champion for years, I'm tired of seeing this. I think they have prepared better for this season than other seasons, I am sure that we will watch a great struggle throughout the season

This is what people were expecting from Slot, to be a manager that actually makes them rush, like actually have some energy. When players have no hope, they end up playing with lower energy, like do not run towards the 50/50 balls etc etc type of things. Even VVD, arguably one of the best defenders, became a bad one and fans disliked him for a while. In the end, with Arne Slot taking over the team, people started to have hope again and this is showing in the players eyes as well.

Pre-season matches are not a reference in measuring team performance at all, but it is also important enough to focus on before entering the competition. I do not understand what you guys are talking about when you say that Manchester United is still better than Manchester city. Since 2011 Manchester United and Manchester city have played against each other 37 times and Manchester city has been able to win 20 matches and also draw three matches. At least according to this link that I have provided. In recent times Manchester city has been far better compared to Manchester United. The last time when United was actually good was when Alex Ferguson was the coach of Manchester United.

In the last match I can’t say if Manchester United deserved to lose the match or not, but I will say that both of the teams have played well. I did not expect such a decent performance from Manchester United. But congratulations to Manchester city for winning the FA Community Shield Cup.

Liverpool only replaced the coach without bringing in new players at this at this moment, but from the several friendly matches has they played, liverpool actually had a pretty perfect performance.
It was previously doubted that Arne Slot could make Liverpool better although currently they are only playing pre-season matches, but it seems that Arne Slot has great potential big in shaping Liverpool to be better next season with  his strategy and game scheme.

What is happening to Liverpool at the moment is actually the opposite of what is happening in Chelsea, Enzo Maresca is still unable to show a brilliant performance in the pre-season matches they are currently playing even though Todd Boehly has spent a lot of money to recruit many new players at this time, both teams have inversely proportional performances in pre-season matches.

Arne Slot haven't managed an English Premier League club before but if you ask me, I think he's shown enough confidence in his tactical approaches in the preseason games that suggests he'll do well at Liverpool.

Arsenal had the opportunity to win the trophy twice but didn't have the winning mentality of making it a reality instead of a dream. I believe that it is possible for them to win the title this new season and that is if only they have improved their winning mentality and are zealous and eager to become champions.

On the one hand, I am not putting any hope in Arsenal because they might fail again just as they did before, and I believe that a different club can surprise us in winning the league because I don't think that City can do it again because they are not the only club that has good players now. Liverpool must learn from past painful experience and Slot must work with his medical staffs, to prepare better for an upcoming season and avoid another injury problem wave on his team. Injuries if happen on many players, will affect the club's competitiveness a lot and can harm their chance to win titles at the end of a long season.

The league hasn't started yet and we can only see what Liverpool have achieved at the moment which is only the result of a friendly match where the team didn't play all out in a match, but looking at what Liverpool has shown so far in several friendly matches there is certainly hope for fans to see  their team will be better next season, currently Liverpool has not recruited any new players in the transfer market but if Arne slot can optimize the current squad in next season maybe we can say he is a great coach, but with limited squad it seems it will be difficult for a coach to be able to maintain consistency and also the performance of the squad when they have to face a busy schedule.

Last season Klopp was able to bring Liverpool to end the season in 3rd place and of course that was a good achievement after their squad had player injury problems, even though at that time Klopp squad was also very limited but he was able to rotate players well to compete in the English league, europe and the FA, because Klopp skill in seeing the potential and also the ability of a player to play in another position that is not his position has been very effective so far in filling the holes left by injured players, so if Liverpool don't bring in new players at this time of course Arne slot must be able to do what Klopp did last season.
