Why Everton are Under 'Threat' of Receiving Another Points Deduction

According to fresh reports, Everton are now under the 'threat' of receiving yet another points deduction. This comes after the Premier League club were deducted numerous points last season.

On the dawn of their upcoming English top-flight campaign, the Toffees will be hoping minds and bodies are sharp after pre-season, which came to an end with a 1-1 draw against Roma this weekend. Under Sean Dyche, they finished 15th in the league last term and will be aiming to avoid a relegation battle this time around.

It will come as an unwanted distraction for all involved with the club then that they will begin 2024/25 with the 'threat' of another points deduction hanging over them, per The Sun.

So, I think they start a little worse because they do not really do much at the start, they already know, and eventually they get back into their groove.

City did not use only De Bruyne and Nathan Ake, the rest all played in the match. Silva was the one who scored the goal amd Haaland was present in 90 minutes so I don't see why you would say that they didn't use their real players. In Europa finals when United won City, didn't they use their key players.

Yesterday's City performance fell short of their A-grade. Pep is a genius, though, and he is sure of his actions. Resting major participants in the Community Shield? Strategic genius, folks. Its regarding the long game, not only one prize. Still, they win. They found a way even without their customary weaponry. That defines a real champion squad.

Only one shot on target, though? That's not City standard. They must discover that attacking spark even when the heavy guns are not in use. With relation to United? They blew it when their opportunity presented themselves. Simply stated, that is a lack of killer instinct. If they wish to compete this season, they have to raise their game.

Very funny because you do not watch football very often; if not, you won't say these things. Manchester United played totally rubbish yesterday. First of all, Manchester City had a reason for starting most of their academic boys in the finals because using their full squad Manchester United is no match for them. And the reason is to avoid injuries on their preferred player as the EPL will start soon. Even with the chances Manchester City gave United to score and win the game they could not. Dont forget that Manchester City and Man United are from the City so they would play it fair with themselves. When ever both of them are playing it usually a tough game even if Manchester United performance is poor they will still end up playing the city as if nothing is wrong with the club, when ever you see a game between Manchester City and Manchester United then their is a very high chance united might defeat Manchester city. With this analysis you are given it even shows that Manchester United have won city in more occasions they have meet. That's actually an very impressive record that Manchester United have set aside. You don’t expect Guardiola to use all his players in the match, he wasn’t very serious about the match because he didn’t really need it, but for him to win the match, then it’s a plus for him. Statistically both of them played well, but I saw Pep Guardiola trying to implement a game strategy that was not so persistent. Man United had far more opportunities than Man City but the final solution was still not able to be maximized properly. The Community Shield trophy was a good start for Man City even though the match was quite fierce and had to be decided by a penalty shootout.

Seeing Man United's performance, I am a little sure that this season they will be much better because I see they are much better prepared. Man United can get another chance to win a trophy, but they have to work hard because the competition will be much more competitive and very tight this season.

Alejandro Garnacho still shows his quality and it's no wonder he is also the only player from the Red Devils who managed to break into Ederson's goal. While Rashford is still the same as last season and the jeers immediately rained down on him when a golden opportunity that was wide open was wasted. Sancho also didn't play well and I think his previous performance at Dortmund disappeared again when he returned to Manchester United.

Well, Manchester City deserved to win and they should know that Manchester United were good enough last night by making it difficult for them to break into the goal before Bernardo Silva finally became the savior at the end of the match.

Expecting Manchester city to have done any better is funny actually because like we know that game wasn't enough for Manchester city to risk so much hence they will just play to see if they're going to get a chance but I believe Manchester city would have done much better if they had wanted to win that trophy, more like they were supposed give let the game for Manchester United, Manchester United will probably get another chance at other trophies.
