Manchester City - West Ham game would have been a much better one if it wasn't for the snow. It snowed heavily and affected the game quality also. West Ham also started good to this game but Manchester City started having the full control after it started snowing like that. They cleaned the field in the second half but still Manchester City were the dominant team of course. West Ham were able to score only after Fernandinho scored the second goal for his team. But I think that Lanzini's goal was the best one of the game also. It was a 2-1 victory for City. And now, they are only one point behind Chelsea in the table.

Arsenal were really incredible yesterday as they flogged Newcastle 2-0.In the first 45 minutes of play,Newcastle were very calm and composed in their game, even when under intense pressure. But Arsenal came back into the second half of the game and played like people who were very hungry to win.

Arsenal returned back to winning ways as they flogged Newcastle, and will be looking forward to extending their winning when they will meet Manchester United on Thursday. It really going to be a stern test for the gunners, but I'm optimistic they will survive it.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
I am wondering whether Rangnick will put Ronaldo more on bench? If Ragnick uses Ronaldo less and put him on bench more regularly, it would be a bad decision to return to Old Trafford.
Ronaldo so far still contributes many goals for the club and he does not want to spend his time on bench. Another thing Ronaldo does not like is seeing Messi has good shows.

And which is the reason for Rangnick doing something like that? The guy isn't an idiot! Cheesy On the opposite, I believe that he would use him regularly and mainly protect him from unnecessary risks and that will be good. Rangnick is a very good manager and for sure he deserves to be in a bigger club. Still, I have my concerns if he is ready for EPL but we will soon find out.

I was surprised, because many of my friends thought Man United would lose. The draw is a good result for Carick. Chelsea defender mistakes at least able to make Sancho scored. Even though Man United didn't win the game looked better, his fighting spirit and spirit was very different when he was coached by Ole.
Manchester United played not too bad at all but they got supported by the stupid mistake from Jorginho. I did not understand why Jorginho decided to handle that situation like that. We see there are two players from Manchester United tried to pressing and creating pressure on Jorginho. He can simply head the ball backward to goalkeeper or forward to Manchester United side.

Hassenbank and Roy Kean argued that Jorginho was too confident and arrogant in that situation.

Today I read the news if Ralf Rangnick will soon officially coach Man United. I've heard that he was a coach who was famous for counter pressing at Leipzig. Apart from that, some local media reports in my country also said that if he was anti-players, he had pictures on his body and players of old age. It's so against Man United at the moment, is he going to swallow his words in the media? I don't think that will happen at Man United.

Judt too confident of himself, tossing the ball backwards wouldn't have resulted to that goal.
Replacement of Sancho wasn't a good decision, seems to be tired, but Ronaldo should have come in for Rashford rather.
Ronaldo is still hungry for silverware's,he should probably start more games,a top quality player need not stay on the bench.
At home in few days lets see how offensive they can be in that game under Ralf Ragnick.

Scoring points at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea is not easy for any team. In any case, coincidence or not, but with the departure of Solskjaer, the team's results have improved. But in this match I think that Manchester was just lucky, Chelsea simply could not realize the many chances they created in the match. De Gea also played very well.
Carrick managed to start something different for Manchester United and he also seem to have managed to lift the morale of his players better than Ole. In a few games I saw this team start to find a good rhythm in their game and this is a good start for the revival of Manchester United. But unfortunately, Carrick will likely not get more opportunities to coach this team because Manchester United are still eager to bring in an established and experienced coach.

Chelsea this season is difficult to stop because Tuchel seem very ambitious to make his team end the season with the [EPL & UCL] title, so the only way to stop them from scoring goals is to pile a lot of players at the back like Manchester United did yesterday. Tactic like this are good, but it take patience and high concentration in defending against the opponent's attack because only a few mistakes by opposing players will score goals.

Well, even though the points you get must end in a draw. I'm quite happy that coach Carrick has made some changes to the Man United players. Against an unbeaten club like Chelsea is a great achievement, which United have done every time they face Chelsea. On Sunday, MU should be able to control the game more when facing Arsenal, who is in 5th place in the standings. At least they can catch Tottenham, who are only points adrift of Manchester United to seize their position. I don't expect Manchester United's performance to decline again. Precisely at times like this they must be able to increase the tempo of the game in order to continue to press the opponent.

It was really brave from Carrick to start without Ronaldo yesterday. Chelsea was better and had most of the control in the game, but United was able to defend better and push up faster when needed.

They took advantage of the press when Jorginho made that big mistake and would have probably held off if Wan Bissaka did not make that silly penalty.

I have to say that I expected Chelsea to line up differently, they chose a defensive variant and were much more dangerous late on in the game with Pulisic, Mount and Lukaku.

Judging by the starting lineup, Carrick initially decided to choose the bus strategy and catch the opponent on counter attacks, and this strategy almost brought victory. This was probably the optimal game plan in its current state. If you remember the previous huge defeats from City, Liverpool, etc. this match should be considered successful for United.

Actually a lot of opportunities happened to Man United but never became a goal.

It was collective fault from chelsea ...

the whole central defender went full attacking when the freekick/corner taken and leaving jorginho at the back alone ... tuchel get slipped with his own all out attack.
fortunately jorginho pay off the debt . his mistake to let sancho get the ball and running through mendy paid off with his penalty goal.
de gea played it really well , we should have scored 3 goals at least .

Carrick tactical changes to Man Utd squad was solely responsible for yesterday draw match, they could have luckily won the match, unfortunately were unlucky, I think benching Ronaldo while playing the trio midfielders in front of their defence was their game plan, Matic, Fred and Mctominay did the covering up of their defence while fernandez was assisting Sancho and Rashford in their attack, the board should have allow Carrick to continue as the interim manager rather than appointing Rangnick.

I agree with you completely that Carrick would be better off if given the chance at Manchester United. Moreover, he has only played 1 game and it is still not enough for us to see how Carrick manages quality players. If the management of Manchester United considers Carrick, of course in the future, Carrick might be able to bring United's players to a path where they have to win trophies.

Maybe why it is said to be lucky because there are many predictions where Man United will find it difficult to get even one point, when playing away against a strong team like Chelsea. This draw give advantage for the teams that are under Chelsea, City and Liverpool and makes the competition again very tight between these 3 teams.

MU was leading by a goal at 50' before the penalty shoot out took place. They have a chance to get three points but unfortunately they were failed. Btw, a point while playing away against big team like Chelsea indeed is already a great achievement.

I think it's all just an issue that is not clear for sure

I am looking forward to a good performance from Rangnick to improve the mood and also MU performance in the future. Although I see that Carrick is actually quite good at being a Manchester United coach, I predict that the MU management is not sure about Carrick's abilities

I'm sure for Man United it won't happen. because some United players are certainly in the category that Rangnick is talking about. and if it is implemented it can have a bad impact on the response of management and fans.
After all, I believe the main assessment is the team's performance this season. rating improvements should be fixed immediately. and so far Carick, has taken a very good role in filling the vacancy in the coach seat at Manchester United.

A lot of opportunities were wasted in the game. Whatever the result, Chelsea remain at the top of the table. The match ended 1-1, as Chelsea still need to win maximum points from any of their direct rivals. It was expected that Chelsea would win this match. An error by Jorginho led to Sancho scoring for the red devils. Chelsea needed a penalty to survive Man United, who they thought would not be able to handle them.

Carrick started his career as a coach for Manchester United perfectly, after beating Villarreal away with 2 goals the club was able to take a point from London in a very hard match, the odds was in Chelsea favour by far but as i expected in such matches the ods doesn't mean much things

I have to admit Carrick is brave enough to change the strategy compared to Ole who is used to have the same strategy in all matches. 1 win and 1 draw in his 2 first matches is good, but the real challenge is still long way to go. Next match will be against Arsenal, a team which is in a good form lately after they did bad start.

That's what I also noticed, at the beginning of the match Ronaldo was intentionally left out in the first half and in the second half he was tested to be able to provide additional attacks. It's not too bad that Carrick, a Manchester United player, looks better. Even with the score even, I see that there are some changes that Carrick is trying to implement. Will he be in charge of Manchester United for much longer, or is it just to become a caretaker coach. I hope there will be a decision change and let Carrick lead Manchester United longer, because only 1 game for Carrick has not fully contributed to much.

So I think, Arsenal still has a chance like Man United had against Chelsea and there is even a chance that Arsenal will beat Man United.

The next match when Man United met Arsenal was eagerly awaited by the fans.  Based on the results of the previous match, Arsenal beat Newcastle while Man United ended up drawing with Chelsea, who had been strongly predicted to be defeated by Chelsea.  United's playing strategy yesterday was a little different and then this team will be led by a new coach who will of course also have a new strategy.  Ralf Rangnick has been trusted to lead United to achieve their goals.  However, Arsenal will also certainly maintain the top 5 position.  Both teams will face off with their way and style of play which is much more aggressive than before with their potential players

Carrick learned from Ole's mistakes and that really makes him worthy of being the next Manchester United manager. it's a shame that Cristiano got a yellow card so he had to be on the bench. the match against arsenal later will definitely be won by MU with not so difficult. btw, anyone knows when Rangnick officially coached Manchester United?

Every coach has his own characteristics, and I think Carrick is just trying to do his part. Arsenal is not an easy opponent and it is not certain that Man United can beat Arsenal. Chelsea were the favorites in last night's match, and many people predicted that Chelsea would win easily against Man United, but what happened the match had to end in a draw. So I think, Arsenal still has a chance like Man United had against Chelsea and there is even a chance that Arsenal will beat Man United.

So far, Carrick is even better at responding to the game strategy he is trying to implement. It shows how he plays an attacking strategy that can match his opponent. Here I see a match for Carrick who is more active in providing guidance than Ole who usually sits in the chair when their players are threatened.

something that has rarely happened since he moved to oldtrafford earlier this season and it has proven to work quite well for them.
because if you see the presence or absence of ronaldo, actually they can survive but indeed ronaldo's role is also quite vital to maintain their financial stability Cheesy

But I want to appreciate Carrick with this, I think the two games that Manchester United have gone through since Carrick was inducted are good enough to watch.
