Yeah it was still Carrick and he made such a bold move by choosing Sancho instead of Ronaldo as the starting lineup which turned out to be a good decision because Sancho scored. Sancho played two games so far with Carrick as the manager and scored two goals, this is great and atleast Sancho wont ended up as the benchwarmer

Is was indeed an interesting match. Chelsea was lucky enough to get a penalty kick which Jorginho probably scored. Although, Chelsea dominated in the game, and also had a total of 6 shot on target. But, Manchester United defense was strong. However, this is Chelsea's third drawn match so far, and despite drawing they are still leading on the standings. Nevertheless, the draw reduced their points gap between City to 1 point, which means they have to play their next matches more carefully.

After Ole Solskjaer's departure, Manchester United played their first Premier League. And it was one of the most competitive games that's for sure. Playing against a team like Chelsea in an away game is really tough this season. Chelsea have done a great job since Tuchel became their manager. And Chelsea were the highly favourite team of this game also like I said before. Chelsea dominated the game in general just as I assumed. But Manchester United scored a goal while nobody was expecting. Jorginho's big mistake cost them getting 1-0 behind. But Chelsea didn't give up of course and increased their attempts more. They finally scored the equalizer by a penalty and Jorginho made up for his mistake too. Chelsea missed some important chances also. And Manchester United were nearly getting ahead again after Mendy's big mistake. But at the end, the result was 1-1. It is still a good result for Manchester United and a bad one for Chelsea.

I think Chelsea were just unlucky today to win the match even though we knew they created some chance. Of course, this result is highly expected by other team such as Manchester City and Liverpool because now the difference in point for the three team is only 1 and 2.

Before the match started, I just thought Chelsea would have won by more than two goals, but it turned out that Manchester United defended pretty well and De Gea barely made a mistake if there wasn't a penalty. He played well and saved the net from some good chance created by Chelsea. It's another surprise in the Premier League this week.

The top standings competition is getting tougher and Chelsea, Mancity, Liverpool between the three clubs are only one point apart, it will be more interesting with the results next week than one of them will be shifted.

Man United only took advantage of a blunder from Jorginho so that it was easier for Sancho to score without an opponent.
Jorginho returned the goal with a fine penalty kick, with the draw and points shared while it will be increasingly worrying for Chelsea as they get closer with points below him.

Man u has a very big luck. If no be Alonso that was not playing well and Jorginho that made that big mistake. Infact even chelsea has luck too. If not Wanbissaka that committed penalty we would have lost the match.

All I was expecting today is for Chelsea to win that Match, the possession goes to Chelsea, the shot on target and everything was dominated by Chelsea but it really pained me that they couldn't score in the match than a penalty scored by Jorginho. Manchester City and Liverpool are closer behind with just 1 and 2 points left. Manchester United shouldn't be hard for Chelsea other than Chelsea really fuck us up, but though anything can happy in a match.

Is this to say that Carrick has done well with a draw plus an away game at Stamford Bridge, but for me this effort has worked for Carrick in his dealings.

I saw from both of them there have been a lot of chances meaning both teams played very offensively and attacking each other happened, Man United's game was very passionate compared to playing with Watford but when facing Chelsea this difference was very big and more open from the players.

Destiny to bring the two together will be a long story between Chelsea and Manchester United always fail to outperform each other. As an eternal rival, this is indeed quite scary when one of the two will lose. As you said when with Liverpool or City they would at least have a goal point.

But you can't win a game without scoring a goal. Ronaldo has literary been saving United's ass most of the time in the goal scoring department, especially in Champion's league. His game play has evolved and right now all he does is to position himself in the opponent's box waiting to poach.

What United could do is get more guys who can do the dirty work and keep Ronaldo in front because when it comes to goals, he has really helped them so far.

An intriguing encounter between this two sides. Chelsea were dominant and deserved a to win but unfortunately De Gea was exceptional again and make crucial saves. A tough game for United they struggled throughout the match and performed poorly. Changes are needed unless things might become worse. It was a very important game for Manchester after coming from a spell of loses and good for Team morale as they stopped Chelsea top form right in its tracks. Honestly i liked the brilliant performance in all possession from Chelsea despite a draw. They deserved a win but got a draw. The points are shared and Chelsea still maintain top spot in the league table. One point ahead of rivals Manchester City.
