The shocking news turned out to be hot news for Nuno's sacking by Tottenham after failing to win. but is it true that Nuno's replacement is Conte? I didn't see any news about this candidate.
But I think it's a decisive action because Spurs don't want to drag on and get worse in the hands of Nuno so this is a good step to take.
But this situation will be very different with Manchester United. LOL
Are Tottenham so ambitious that they are ready to invite Conte himself to work? Well, if this does happen, it will be very interesting to see how the team changes. Conte is very demanding, he will certainly want to strengthen the club with good players, at least he always did that when he came to a new club. Perhaps Tottenham decided not to delay and invite Conte until Manchester did it before them. Smiley

Tottenham Head Coach Sacked

Wolves United former coach is now Tottenham's former coach. His dismissal is a surprise to me. While I was expecting Ole to be sacked, Nuno got sacked instead. I personally feel that the club was not fair to him.
He is bearly 5months in the club, what wonders were there management expecting him to perform.
Again, Harry Kane was kept by the management against his wish and we all can attest that the guy doesn't give his best anymore to the club. Is it Nuno's fault?
I wish he saw it coming and remained in Wolves.
Nuno was appointed to fail woefully. From the chairman Daniel levy that points one finger to all coaches ( from Pocho to Jose and now Nuno) but the remaining four fingers pointing at him, the players are not giving in the best, more particularly Harry Kane. So sad for Nuno.
He should have stayed with Wolves than Tottenham.
This Tottenham is beginning to think they are a big club. Just because Pochentinho give them morals. Imagine the way they now sack carelessly. Thinking that they will remain in the top four originally.

I am just sorry about all these managers sometimes. The pressure is too high and so little time to deliver. They just expect you to hit the ground running.

Wins are hard to accept when a good sacking makes it quicker, while the contribution of a bad coach like Ole is preserved. This is the opposite of hope and reality. I don't know what's going through the minds of the managers from Tottenham and Manchester United. Once again this is of course despite the lengthy negotiations but with disappointing results. Fired Nuno on the grounds of failure, but kept Ole on the grounds that he was still needed. Lol

So, Conte to Tottenham after all? United might find themselves in a real mess if they decide to fire Solskjaer soon - there really aren't any decent managers available.

On the other hand, Newcastle is making their first moves. They want Emery as their next coach and are willing to pay the needed compensation to get him from Villarreal.
A good choice, not a top name but one that has proven he knows how to build teams and one that will be thrilled with the job from the beginning.

Nuno did well with wolves however its a pity he couldn't transform his tactical prowess to tottenham even with set of average players in wolves he got some decent results when playing against top teams then, tottenham squad is much better compared to his former club, honestly he has been given enough time to make a difference unfortunately things couldn't work out well for him, losing five of the last seven premier league matches is not a good result, I hope Conte will turn around tottenham fortune if he eventually get the appointment.

Jesus breaking news Sweet Mary,,, my club has lost their manager after just 10 games in EPL and 17 games in total and now we have CONTE!

I know it is not confirmed but I think finally we have a good manager,,, just maybe he will have to prove he is better than Poch whom all us Spurs fans still love and miss.

Arsenal are begining to make me very happy.I was very surprise when they defeated Leicester City  on Saturday without conceding a goal,I now begin to see that Arteta is now building a very solid young team that opponents will  not be able to defeat.

Leicester with the good players that they have, tried their possible best to score one goal, but Arsenal's goalkeeper was very solid throughout the match. And with this present form they are,9 matches unbeaten,I think they can win a silverware this season or probably be in top four.

Arsenal is really impressive - after a catastrophic start, they went on an unbeaten run in 7 matches, 5 of which they won. Hardly anyone believed in this at the beginning of the season, but if things go on like this, then Arsenal will fight for the championship, no matter how paradoxical it may sound. They have a comfortable schedule of matches ahead (a strong opponent alternates with a weak) and who knows how successfully they will be able to perform in the future.
Following gunners recent form, one will be wrong not to give the mangers and his team the praises they are worthy of. It's quite a huge turnaround for Mike team as they pick up their winning form following their draw against crystal place some weeks back. With the likes of Rowe, saka and aubemeyang as the front liners, gunners are becoming a team to wrestle with for a point. Mind you the bigger games forth coming will tell if their winning  mentality is wittingly  strong

I just heard the news, it's a shame that the dismissal happened, it seems that in terms of the dismissal of the coach, tottenham is a firm club and the proof is that Nuno, who has only worked for a few months, was immediately fired by Tottenham and it's different from manchester united today, Tottenham performance that did not improve seemed to be the reason for Nuno dismissal, I think Ole is still a little luckier than Nuno who was immediately fired by Tottenham.
Then who do you think is a strong candidate to replace Nuno now?

So news just arrived that Nuno has been sacked after long conversation between Levi and Patrici. Now they are having talks with Conte to took over Spurs manager job. So now United manager target is now being considered as a priority for Spurs manager job and I think this might happen.

So it turned out that the match between Tottenham and Manchester United was likely the decider of which coach will continue their job huh. Pretty sure that Ole are likely to be sacked as well if he had lost that match and Conte will be the potential coach to replace him.

Conte as Spurs ... Looks very promising to me given the squad Spurs has.

The whole squad was great and on top of that, Tottenham has Kane which is probably one of the best striker in EPL but he has only scored 1 goal this season. Only 1 goal out of 7 matches played, thats kinda sucks though

really sad Nuno has been sacked but it was the best for spurs
Conte will be there and which means Ole job is safe Grin

Ole strategy in the United vs Spurs game use tactical tweak strategy ,looks like ronaldo's opinion has been accepted by him which led to a sweet victory

I really like the recent Arsenal in the Premier League. I admire their fighting their way up as they were very terrible at the beginning of the season. They still have Mikel Arteta as their manager and they have managed to recover in a very strong way. They have climbed to the 6th place with 17 points. Suddenly, we have started seeing a better Arsenal than the last season which is really interesting. They continue on their unbeaten streak and it is 9 matches now. I wonder until when they will maintain this form.

I tip Norwich to win this.
I thought Norwich would have won this one today but end result was really disappointing especially that they where playing this match from their home turf. I had so much confidence in these guys such that I had Pukki on my anytime goal scorer but it was a complete waste! If these guys keep dropping points like this let them prepare to exit the Premier League when relegation time comes forth.

Nuno probably getting sacked by Tottenham today - Levy and the board are currently in a meeting regarding the managerial position.
Nuno good coach, wrong team...these guys clearly look fatigued and that's what happens when you dont have replacements or rotations to allow players to recharge.

What do you mean good coach wrong team? Are you saying Nuno is better than Tottenham or what, in this football club (spurs) he has better player good training ground and an excellent standium,he has talented striker's so what's wrong about the club,
For starters a player nor coach can be possed to be bigger than the club/team. My reference to Nuno being a good coach but with the wrong team was me trying to say personally his a good coach but his coaching style isn't working for the club...perhaps for a different team this could work just fine...but currently not working for spurs. Either the team adjusts to his coaching style or the coach does which in rear cases happens.

Nuno is not good enough for spurs period.
If he doesn't get sacked sooner or later then this might be a sign that his their man for the job!

Arsenal will remain focused on the premier league as they don't participate in any competition except the EFL cup which they have to chase but it is a fact that Arsenal's players are quite solid and Arteta has now brought better, hopefully this will be hope and can compete in the top 4 leagues main.
But Arteta must still be able to improve the solidity of the players so that when playing with top teams he is ready and able to defend with strong players, but sometimes Arsenal like to be inconsistent even though they have won several times.

Arsenal has opportunities. And they are doing quite well now. But at the moment, I don't think such a squad can be in the top 4 of the points table. They have shown stable performance in the last few matches. But I did not see any good performance from them. I want to put Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester in the same row. Their position will be between 5-10 in the points table.
Arsenal is playing it safe at the moment I guess. so seeing arsenal will be level at 10-5 leaderboard is something that makes sense.
indeed there is a weakness from the arsenal, especially in their defense. In 10 games, 12 entered and 13 conceded. of course with statistics like that. Arsenal must improve strategy and also the line-up.
the arsenal is not far from the top 3 standings. they have to make something better to finish the season in a satisfactory position.

Arsenal not playing any European competition this season will contribute to their winning a silverware this season, even if is Carabao cup, because their players are well rested without any midweek matches, 'slow and steady win a race' Arsenal youngstars are slowly becoming more formidable and not fearing any opponent, Arteta had really
managed and succeded in putting up team with the likes of Saka, Smith Rowe, Teveres, Ramdales and Lokonga mixed with experienced Abumeyang and Lacazette thus making the team more stronger.
Give benefit for Arsenal without participant on Champion league or Uerope league because all their player have many days for getting rest, they should take this opportunity how to win on every match, maybe if keep consistent Arsenal have chance back to champion league again after missing nore than six years. But now lets see how consistent Arsenal because few match later many bigger team become against for Arsenal like Manchester United and Liverpool.
