I think that Ole should have been sacked 3 or 4 games earlier. It is clear on the pitch that United is struggling. There is hardly any structure in the team, both in offense and defense. The management giving Ole chance after chance will come back to bite them for sure. I have to say that after Ferguson, Ole is better than the previous coaches we had, but that doesn't mean that we can opt for a better one? All I can say is that this United squad has the potential to win many trophies, but it's not being possible just because the management thinks that Ole can change stuff overnight.

Ole Gunnar is not losing yet and his fate and the fate of Manchester United are still moving together. Manchester United this season is proving to be a team that is able to surprise everyone both on the positive side and on the negative side. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo has now appeared in the team, who by his actions is able to help the team achieve a positive result. I'm also not sure about the unambiguous result of the upcoming match with Manchester City and I wouldn't be too surprised if the meeting ends in a draw. I also didn't hear that rumor yet. Can you tell me why the core Man City players to be absent on the crucial match? How many key players of Man City not play? There is no advantage at all because Pogba is not going to be playing in this match and Varane is currently injured (again). Some minor reason on why Manchester United won the last match against Tottenham was because Varane was playing a good part defending the goal line so yeah its going to be another struggle against Manchester City

Aside from that, some fans are still mad with Ole so the atmosphere in Old Trafford would be intimidating even for Ole so that would really put some pressure on him. If Manchester United somehow win this one then Ole can still breathe for few more upcoming matches though

Varane absence is indeed quite painful for manchester united, but I think Eric Bailly will be an ideal replacement for varane to guard Manchester United defense in that match, for pogba itself, I actually see if pogba has not been able to show his best performa in the last few games, especially when they were beaten by liverpool and drew against atlanta, you can see that pogba made a lot of mistakes in that game and maybe it would be better if pogba didn't play in the derby later.
Even though he lost in the derby match later, it looks like Ole will still be maintained by Manchester United, because Conte who is rumored to be a strong candidate to replace Ole, has now officially coached Tottenham, so Manchester United only has a few options now in my opinion.

Wesham has the right to occupy the 4th position as one that is quite likely. Those with their hard work are quite comparable, we would agree for some clubs after Wesham is good for Manchester United even if Ole can push his players. However, ole brings Manchester with a distant target, while the desire of the Manchester United players is to rank 3rd shifting ManCity position.

The competition is quite tight, then can Manchester United come back with its performance? just because holding Atalanta to a draw yesterday was not enough to add to the collection of goals in the Premier League which might have prevented Manchester United from being eliminated more quickly. In my opinion, the prospects for getting into the top 4 are very illusory, even if Conte can radically improve the game of Spurs. About the threat of Ole's position being rumored to be replaced by Conte is just a joke, imo.
