United is in a good period before the derby. After that heavy loss against Liverpool they bounced back against Spurs, won that one easily and then yesterday scored a crucial goal in the 90th minute in the CL.

However, City is organizationally in a different league. They will have a thorough gameplan on how to hurt them, whereas United is still playing without it.

I expect a City win, I will bet on a handicap one.
City still has to play in the Champions League tomorrow. not to mention the last game of City in the league which lost 0-2 to Crystal Palace, with 1 red card for City defenders.
both have quite a solid match before this weekend's match starts. I hope both of them have a good strategy and rotation of players. because in this match, will present an interesting match.

because it will be very unattractive if one of the teams is burdened by the tight schedule of matches and injuries to players. maybe, it would be a one-sided match.
in this situation, if all is at its best. I will bet for City. there won't be many goals.

If Conte can really bring success to Tottenham quickly, then surely it will be a regret for United who can't give a quick decision to replace Ole with Conte. Now with Conte, of course Tottenham again have a great opportunity to recover quickly although indeed, chasing to become a title-winning candidate at this time seems impossible, but to get a ticket to the UCL next season, I believe that opportunity is very open for Tottenham with Conte.

In my opinion, the prospects for getting into the top 4 are very illusory, even if Conte can radically improve the game of Spurs. It is very unlikely that any of the big four (Chelsea, United, Liverpool, City) will fail so deeply to give way. And besides these teams, there is Arsenal which is back in the game and some others that can improve their results.
As for Ole, as I read somewhere he plays 4d chess: Spurs were beaten 3-0, which led to a change of coach and now Conte does not threaten Ole's position  Grin
About the threat of Ole's position being rumored to be replaced by Conte is just a joke, imo. So, Conte gets a contract or not with Tottenham, I think Ole's position can still be replaced by another coach if United really want to replace him, this proves United still hopes that Ole can give the best for United. Regarding the top four positions, maybe only one place will be contested by other teams because for the top three teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and City it seems certain. But for position 4, I believe it will still be a struggle until the end of the season, considering their gap is not too far like +10 points gap, because the current gap is only 5 points which of course any changes can still occur. Even without watching spurs under Conte and Manchester United under Ole, everyone including Ole knows that Conte is better than Ole. If Conte is given the crop of players in Manchester United, he can go ten matches unbeated maybe with two draws. Ole is mismanaging the players, the club and the fans. Till now Sancho has not know his place in the squad and his role is not defined. Till now Maguire is still Ole's best defended and the most referend captain in EPL. Manchester United will only know where they belong when Conte has made Tottenham difficult for any team to play, just as Tuchel did to Chelsea.
Solskjaer is given so many chances because he has a very good relationship with the management, he communicates with Fergewson and everyone probably hoped that Solskjaer would become the next Ferguson, but how infinitely patient are the owners of Manchester United? There is a very good example here, for Orteta in Arsenal they gave a chance and he managed to establish a game in Arsenal, perhaps the same hopes are pinned on Solskjaer, they are waiting for a miracle to happen.

It will be a win - win situation for Manchester United if the miracle miraculously happens Grin
But remember that the expectations of Arsenal and Manchester United is not same in Epl;
The players in Arsenal and Manchester United not same;
The investment of Arsenal and Manchester United in players is not same.
Hence they are not expecting similar results.
I fear, if the Manchester United inconsistency persists, the pressure from fans will be more higher and may lead the management to make some hasty decisions against Ole.

In three days, we have a really nice Manchester derby in Old Trafford. I can't say that their last two head-to-heads in this stadium were quite exciting as the results were 0-0 and 2-0. But we can watch a much more exciting match this time I believe. Because we have Ronaldo also and he can still be a game changer. And considering the recent performance of Manchester United, I wonder if they will succeed in winning this derby. Ole tries a new game plan including two forwards on the front. And they scored 5 goals in 2 matches using this game plan. Let's see if they will be successful against Manchester City. I think each team will score.

Manchester United and Solskjaer finally got a very satisfying result for themselves and the supporters.

It was satisfying but at the same time, fans were expecting them to win especially after being trashed by Liverpool. Ole had his job on the line and he cant screw this one up so it turns out to be a great result. Anyway Ole should stick Cavani and Ronaldo together in the next match as well, its much better than having Ronaldo alone with few younger players that wont even pass to him sometimes

It looks like he will do this. In the Atalanta game last night, he tried 5-3-2 and he still preferred two forwards who were Rashford and Ronaldo this time. But Rashford didn't make any assist or scored a goal. So, he might prefer Cavani - Ronaldo duo again in the game against Manchester City this weekend. These two players seem to have a good understanding of each other. This game plan can help the team resist much better against Manchester City.

I think Manchester United might regret not sacking Ole in favour of Antonio Conte because the Tottenham victory might  be one off so spurs loss might be their gain, after the announcement of Antonio Conte as the head coach.you never know what football brings.
well I would love to watch spurs under antonio conte control and man united still with ole, comparing both match and point whether
The decision both club is right and read the news rumors from both.

But to be honest, there is someone who is happiest with Conte's decision to join Tottenham, namely Ole.  He was already very worried about being replaced by Conte because of his poor result yesterday against Liverpool.

Actually this season Ole is a coach who has been widely rumored to be sacked in the EPL but in fact it is Nuno who has to lose his job first at Tottenham, and maybe now Ole can sleep well considering his position which has the support of Ferguson is still quite safe at this time, especially since he has won 1 games out of 3 chances are given by manchester now and as you said, looks like Ole will be laughing happily now that the coach who has been rumored to be replacing him has been signed by another club Grin.

But Levy either agree to buy, keep Kane on high wage or pay Conte a LOT of money. So we do not know what the hell is going on even us supporters are totally in the dark,,, but Conte has now signed 1.5 year contract.
Levy can spend more to buy new players but Kane will be in his thirties soon and he won't be patient to wait for improvement of the team. No guarantee that new players and a new coach can help Tottenham to win titles.

If Levy does like what you said, it would be a very difficult choice for Kane. Leaving, he might or might not have title but the chance to have title can be bigger. Staying, he will face with uncertainty with new coach, new players, new tactic.

The rumor now is that Levy agreed to give 230 million pounds sterling budget to Conte,,, so all of this finally makes sense. As I said Smiley

Kane issue we have to wait and see. I love him but even last season already I was prepared to see him go and so was everyone else mostly.

He knows:
> If he stays he continues to be 1st choice even with new buys around him
> If he goes he knows he cannot ask for more playing time in City, and his form this season might hurt.

That is why it's bad for a club to frequently sack her coaches. If you sack too many coach within a short time, the coaches will stop receiving the blames of failure. Tottenham is already in that mess, any coach going to Tottenham will not be under pressure to perform. Whether he succeeds or not, he will likely suffer same fate of others.
Could it be what Manchester United is avoiding while keeping Ole.?

Exactly my opinion. There is a part of me which feels for Nuno Espirito. He inherited a mess, especially with the Harry Kane and Manchester City situation, and it turned into a waste of four months, most of all for the Tottenham fans. It all started when Daniel Levy made a mistake by sacking Mauricio Pochettino, a manager that gave them regularly champions league football with a smaller budget since he took charge of the club. He even took them to the champions league final for first time in history of the club without a single player reinforcement in two consecutive seasons to became the first manager ever to done that at the top flight football in history of the game. Now they taking to their heels.

When you think about it, it's a win win situation for Conte because if he does well, he will be praised for another job well done and if he doesn't do well, They will say Tottenham wasn't winning trophies anyways. And then they'll blame Levy for not giving him enough money to spend. Conte will leave with his reputation intact and go to a better club.
Conte will sign a contract if he has promise to get full control of club management from tactic, transfer, training, and choose players. Tottenham has troubles with players (Kane) and Conte won't work their with Son only. Furthermore will Levy be readily to spend big transfer budget for Conte? I guess Levy won't do it.

@CryptocurencyKing, I see that you do have a strong and valid point. If Conte can make Spurs great again, he will be praised. And if he fails to do so, people will say that he didn't have the best of squads in Europe or didn't have the fund to spend as much. So it's a win for Conte in every way. Also, a win for Spurs in my opinion as we all know that even though Conte is a short-term coach, he is tactically very good and maybe he can bring success to Spurs.

newcastle united reportedly has a new coach. Unai Emery, who is still under contract with fc villarreal, is expected to be the first deal under the new saudi investor and will be introduced to the magpies this week

Unai Emery is on the verge of leaving Europa League winners and Champions League side Villarreal to join in relegation danger Newcastle United in the Premier League. The Times reported that Villarreal's UCL group game against Young Boys will be Emery's last in charge of the club—the Spaniards already have a replacement in mind.

The good news is that Newcastle can finally have a new coach after the deal is over so this might be a good choice after being informed beforehand with other candidates but some have refused and some have not been in contact with management but with Unay Emery returning to the Premier League for Handling Newscatle out of this slump might save a little bit more from getting out of the relegation zone and once he's officially in charge then in the winter he's sure to be eyeing some of the players he wants to bring in.
I had a mixed opinion on this. It's quite tough to get Newcastle out of the relegation zone until the next transfer window so it's a lot of pressure on Umery if he's hired for the job. It could tarnish his reputation if they remain at the bottom or add more achievements to his resume if they get out. He'll get his money either way and it's probably a good amount.

Ole was really most talked coach in start of season as mostly was feeling surely he is going to lose his post after few matches
It used to be Arteta when Arsenal lost their first three games. Things do change fast in football hehe.

Ole was really most talked coach in start of season as mostly was feeling surely he is going to lose his post after few matches and this was going to happen but mostly in crucial matches his luck was giving him some favor now after Conte's contract with Tottenham he can feel better because he can stay here for some more weeks and if his team win in today match against Atlanta then surely this will more good for his safety as after win against Tottenham they have some confidence and today's win will give them double confidence and their spot in next round is also bonus for them.

Ole strategy was not working in start, and he was fail to handle this all, hopefully after these few better results he will be able to have some better way to survive.
