Chelsea managed to defeat Everton with a 2-0 score too after defeating Liverpool away. I've realized that I really missed this Chelsea. They won't be the champions again maybe but as long as they improve their game like this, I believe in them for next seasons that they could do better.

I agree with you and i think its hard to dominate the premier league for 3 or 4 seasons because many clubs can play for the trophy...the lastclub that was really dominated the premier league is manchester united (alex fergeson era) and i think its hard for every club to dominate it...even man city can find troubles in the next season

Chelsea completely destroyed Everton in this game but to be honest, I wasn't expecting such dominance. Grin

Jorginho scored another penalty goal (as usual) too. Now they consolidated their position in the table.
West Ham-Leeds is going on now and West Ham got ahead new with the goal of Lingard. If West Ham win this, they will leave Everton and Tottenham both behind and take the 5th place being 2 points behind Chelsea.

Chelsea were eventual winners thanks to a Godfrey own goal and Jorginho penalty kick in a professional performance by Tuchel boys who has moved up to the 4th position and 4 points away from second placed Manchester united team. Tuchel has done a good job so far, deserves all the plaundits

Its seems that chelsea did the important in this match and the 3 points is in their hands...this victory make them in the 4th position whatever the resulte of everton in their missed match...11 match without lose in all competetions for chelsea,great jobe.

The game is not easy Everton plays very well, Ancelotti is an excellent coach, he keeps the team spirit very well. Everton even had to score a goal for themselves if Chelsea couldn't do it! Wink

This is a joke, of course. A very decent game, I would say that a draw will be a fair result. But it seems that luck today is more on the side of Chelsea.

The difference between United and City is so huge that City probably didn't cared enough, however this is their first loss in a while , they had 21 game winning streak and that is unreal, they were going for that record and that is why losing could hurt, but at the same time they are so far ahead that even after the loss they are 11 points ahead of United, that is not going to close at any moment, City will not suddenly start losing all their games but even if they do, they have like 10 games left with 4 game loss difference, can you imagine City losing 4 games out of 10 while United getting 10 out of 10 wins? Does that seem possible?

Liverpool on the other hand do not have many games left to recover from this situation they are in, they just have to accept that they are horrible this year and just focus on next year, at least their bad season came during pandemic season, next year should be a bit better.

Chelsea-Everton is another delightful game of this week. I am expecting a very tough game as both teams are doing good and there is only one point difference between them - Chelsea are the 4th, Everton are the 5th. I am more waiting for the Chelsea vs Everton match, this is a game that is very much awaited to fight for points to get further away.
Currently Chelsea are still above Everton by 1 point, but if Chelsea brings 3 points it will be more meaningful and reduce with the 3rd standings. I am sure Chelsea's pursuit this season is far more than before.
I see Tuchel has big ambitions in this regard, the adaptation of a coach to players is so fast that Chelsea are back to the better.

Being 11 points ahead Manchester City will have to focus and make use of a clear strategy that goes as far as implementing a risk management approach for every game they play until the end. Considering they are also running for Champions League it is more important than ever to allow key players to rest before big games or their poor performances could lead to lose vital points along the way.
Like I said earlier I think the citizens should not worry too much about the lost derby, that was only one game after all.

Yeah its getting closer until you realized that 11 points difference equal to Manchester City losing 4 matches and also there are only 10 matches left this season. Manchester City couldnt possibly lose 4 matches, I can totally understand if City lose to Chelsea or Leicester but definitely not to the other team so you can pretty much say that Manchester City wins the league already

Im a long time fan of Manchester United as well but gotta admit that Manchester City is way better this season

It was one of the biggest surprises of this match week. I was expecting Manchester Utd to score but to win this? Hell no! Grin

It was a big shock for City that Manchester Utd got a penalty in the second minute and B. Fernandes scored it. L. Shaw's goal was also right in the corner that Ederson had nothing to do. City missed unbelievable chances and lost this. The result Liverpool got was another surprise. They were terrible on finding the target again and got another loss. On the other hand, Tottenham had a great match that they totally deserved it. Bale scored 2 goals which was great but I think the man of the match was definitely Kane. He got 2 assists and 2 goals - one of which was delightful to see.

Liverpool played 28 games while the 4 teams in front of it and Villa behind it played 1-2 games less. They risk staying 8th for a while or even dropping in case of another defeat..
Spurs won and made my day after Liverpool and City defeats.
