Pep is delivering as hoped, so unfortunate for Spurs to play against Manchester city at this time when they are focused on there unbeaten run and winning the EPL trophy.

61' Manchester city 2-0 Spurs

Game on.
73' Man City 3 - 0 Spurs.
Mourinho boys have a very bad record lately and receiving 3 goals is very bad now. In the other hand, City is doing quite well to secure the title early this season if they will continue like that!

Everton are going to play a home game against Fulham tomorrow night. Everton are the 7th with 37 points and Fulham are the 18th with 15 points. Everton got 2 wins (2W 2D 1L) and Fulham didn't get any win (3D 2L) in the last 5 games in the league. Everton didn't get a win in their last 3 home games (1D 2L).  Fulham won only once in away games (1W 5D 4L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, Everton won 4 times and Fulham won once. Everton beat Fulham 3-2 on Nov 22, 2020.

Missing player(s) at Everton: Lucas Digne (uncertain), Dominic Calvert-Lewin   (13 goals), Jordan Pickford   (uncertain), Allan, Jean-Philippe Gbamin
Missing player(s) at Fulham: Terence Kongolo, Tom Cairney (1 goal)

Calvert-Lewin is injured and he is a really big loss for Everton. He is the most scorer of the team. It is also not certain whether Pickford and Digne will play. Everton might have some difficulties in scoring but I think they will still manage to beat their opponent.

Leicester city vs Liverpool fixture today was the least game i expected Liverpool not to win. Seriously, they didn't put up any good fight at all. Klopp really needs to look up with his team tactics again because his been loosing far too many matches this days. 3 straight games and his lost all 3, so unlike Liverpool. Leicester is good but then, this is a game that Liverpool should be getting at least 1 point out of if the 3 point seemed impossible. Jamie Vardy is just too good for Leicester despite his age, he would have been revered as deserved in a top team.

Pep is delivering as hoped, so unfortunate for Spurs to play against Manchester city at this time when they are focused on there unbeaten run and winning the EPL trophy.

Ft Leicester city  3-1 Liverpool
61' Manchester city 2-0 Spurs

Game on.

I just love the Leicester game! Probably not many people expected this outcome of the match...
TBH, I didn't expect Liverpool to win, at best a draw for them, though the game was a must win for klopp's team if they were to have any chance of staying in the title race; good three points for Leicester and if they continue this way without capitulating, then they could well finish in the top four and make it to the champions league next season.
I guess Spurs really can't win this match... But the goal was scored not in the game, but from a penalty... I expect a lot of goals! Grin
Isn't it quite funny that the penalty was taken by Rodri of all people, after a couple of penalty misses from city this season, either from KDB, Raheem or Gundogan, they prolly have found the better man for the spot kick in Rodri Cool

Liverpool lose again, it's just that Liverpool are in bad state. Nothing unexpected at all since Liverpool missing a proper defense so it's inevitable.
Actually, Liverpool was able to dominate the match, but it must be admitted that Leicester's backline is very solid and unexpectedly in the last 12 minutes, Leicester was able to make a brilliant comeback when they managed to score 3 goals in just 7 minutes.

Quote
Hope they will restore their confidence level and comes back strongly, still believe Liverpool will make it to top 4
Yes, they still have that chance, it's just that it takes hard work to achieve it because Liverpool had no luck with injuries.

Alisson truly is in wonderland. He's killing us 2 games in a row now.

We actually played really well for 75 minutes. The problem is that we do have a bit too many random brainfarts, but also the fact that opponents have been punishing every single one of them for the whole season.

We must bounce soon and start grinding out results, we simply have to get CL spot for next season.

Unbelievable isn’t it mate. The injuries are killing us but we’ve had such bad luck with VAR & referees. Their equaliser is 100% offside. We just have to roll our sleeves up & keep trying. I just can’t believe we lost that game, we were so much better than them.

I’m not looking forward to Leipzig tbh.
Honestly mate do not really sweat about it. Sure maybe this season you are not going to be doing that great, end up maybe in europa cup or champions league depending on how you guys are doing, but I feel like it is still not a big problem if you ended up like 4th or 5th. Why? Because you had a great 3-4 year run so far anyway, and if you end up doing not so great this year on the year where fans can't even go to games, on the year that teams didn't even had proper money to spend, and everything was looking horrible.

I would say you still did better than anyone expected. Which is why I think it is quite great to say that LFC managed to have a great run, and if next year they could continue to be awesome that is great, but if they end up not being awesome and some players leave (Salah said to be requesting to go) that means you just had a great run for a few years and you should be proud of that.

I wonder how Spurs will do? The odds on them winning is 9.0! That means the bookmakers think it's impossible to beat Man City in this match! Cheesy

Liverpool is in its worst days, losing vs Leicester with 3 goals was the worst scenario to imagine, now Chelsea and West Ham can jump in front of LFC without mentioning that Everton, Spurs and Aston Villa are lacking 2-3 games comparing to them...
Dunno about players psychology but their next game against Leipzig doesn't seem promising Undecided

Leicester gave Liverpool a bad dream that this problem should not happen again.
I think Chelsea will shift Liverpool's position if they win with Newcastle, according to my prediction now Liverpool will not be strong enough to pursue the first standings because they are very tight and in the future they must be able to fight for the position to enter UCL next season if not then this. will be a bad dream for Liverpool and no more ferocity like the season before.

Leicester City 3 -1 Liverpool

game just started, we'll see how liverpool will get out of this game

edit: 3 goals in 7 minutes... after liverpool lost against city, today again they are suffering humiliation against Leicester. liverpool has no chance of being a champion this season  Sad

I am completely shocked after this result. After Liverpool scored in the 67th minute (M. Salah), I started to believe that they were going to get a win finally after 2 matches. But Leicester made an unbelievable comeback and scored 3 goals in such a short time. If Leicester's first goal was offside, I wonder what kind of a result we'd see.  Grin
It's quite awful for a big team like Liverpool to concede 3 goals within 7 minutes despite having a goal advantage,  I also wonder why VAR allowed such a glaring offside after showing the replays, while Allison committed another blunder that lead to the last goal I wonder why Henderson a midfielder was deployed as a defender  however the issue is that they  (Liverpool) forget about retaining the title and improved their performance in their subsequent matches.

I sort of see this as balancing of the scales from the last season. Last season Livepool won so many games in the last minutes and they were the ones punishing any sort of small mistake from the opponents. We were all then praising them and their fighting mentality and similar but sometimes it comes down to pure luck breaking for you or against you.

I am not attributing all to luck just saying there is that part as well. There is no denying that LFC is badly missing Van Dijk as well as that last season Salah would have put Leicester out of the game during the first half.

What is happening with Liverpool is much deeper than just plans or tactics, it is true that Klopp does not change his plans much, and his history says that he suffers a little when things go differently and unexpectedly, but the matter is much greater than that. Injuries and absences, fatal individual mistakes, and a dead attack after he was the strongest in the world, with a midfield based on control and possession Thiago but within a team that believes more in running, shifts and pressure only, there is a clear dissonance between the two parties so far. On the other hand, Leicester City is always distinguished against the top6, beating City, Liverpool and Tottenham, and proving themselvesworthy, and the danger is on Liverpool this time, because the development of Chelsea with Tuchel, and the continued awakening of Leicester with Branden Rodgers, may mean Liverpool's exit from the qualifying positions for the Champions League. Although they were the favorite to win the title, less than a month and a half from now!

Leicester City 3 -1 Liverpool

Liverpool capitulated in the match; within 10 minutes the tie was over; another poor performance from Liverpool who yet again in 2021 could not create quality chances to breakdown a defensively weak Leicester side. Allison contributed to the defeat just like against Manchester City; and Liverpool go 13 points behind in the title race.

Vardy would've had a hattrick in the first half if he finished his chances. Liverpool should've lost a lot more if it's not for vardy bad finishing today. Now it's three straight lose and they are going to miss UCL spot if this kind of performance continue.

One of it was I think offside (or could have been given offside) if it resulted in a goal. Overall I think Leicester did well in counters and hoped for the defensive mistakes and they really did well and got the 3 points. Liverpool also had chances but they need to start making calls and look for other players and their run and work it out accordingly. Its not like Liverpool didn't had some chances but they weren't able to get result out of it.

Is it just me or salah dives a lot this season and he's not a good diver,

Usually he doesn't looks for someone to make a contact with him inside the box so guess he is kinda new in making something out of it.

Liverpool were actually not making the calls right. There was one moment when Leicester almost had the break through as Arnold didn't made the call. Also the second goal was horrible mistake and third one came out of the possession lost. Its mistake after mistake and it is surprising to see from a team which is being managed by Klopp.

Honestly, I am starting to join the group of people that believe Liverpool is totally messed up this day because Allison about 2 of the goals he conceded today and I wonder why the goalkeeper who was said to be more essential club success this season than any season before turn out to be goals masticator.
I guess this season's game will be full of surprises.
