I wouldn't definitely want to see such quality players playing in the Europa League. But things are going really bad for Liverpool. I expected that they would end their losing streak here but they lost 4th time in a row. I was expecting them to have problems defense again and it didn't surprise me. But I don't understand why Liverpool are still having many difficulties in scoring goals.

Liverpool is such a joke this season. From the look of things, they won't be advancing beyond the fifth spot on the league table, its so unlike them. This is supposed to be an EPL title contending team, they started on a good foot, are the only team to have sat on the EPL table at least twice and now, they just can't play a game without loosing. So uncool. Today was supposed to be a redemption evening for them perhaps they would have come with some of the UCL ginger but, they just came to continue from where they left off. After conceiving an early 3 minutes goal to Everton by Richardlison, they still went ahead to commit a penalty at the die minute. All hope is lost on this team, for them, its all about next season now.

Chelsea's draw is another unexpected one but then, they had a some worth good game though, they should have won.

R.I.P for Liverpool. Corona and injury must be responsible for their 4 consecutive defeat in the Premier League. I hope Liverpool give up fighting for the title this season and it definitely belong to Manchester City.

I won't do it now, but I will when the season has two or three game left. Meanwhile, Liverpool still have the opportunity to improve their current mentality. The Premier League still has a long way to go, and I don't think it's the right time to discriminate against them at the moment.

Liverpool lost again, moreover this was at home. What a disaster! Ancelotti's plan worked well and Everton equalised points with Liverpool now.
Chelsea also lost points against Southampton, they got only draw and 1 point. Manchester fans must be so happy and celebrating now, City and United at the top, Leicester is still following. Premier League is the most excited league so far.

I think it was a coincedence.

Atletico played with the best of the best today, an extremely offensive team, very uncommon from Simeone, and they ultimately paid the price. Tuchel put the best starting XI he had available and still couldn't get past the Saints defence...I find it very unlikely that both teams would throw a match for the CL, especially when one of them is the league leader while other is fighting to stay in the top 4

I reckon that our performance this season has been heavily hampered by injuries particularly in our defense department. We have had over 17+ pairings in the central position alone featuring players like VVD, Gomez, Fabinho, Hendo, Philips, Kabak and others. We haven't had a consistent defense outing for a long time and I think that's an area we aren't currently lacking. You don't go anywhere if you keep conceding more than you score.

I watched the first half vs Everton. So far, I'm not impressed. I'm expecting us to find the net in the second half.

As I write Liverpool is losing home: if they lose that would be the third loss in a row and if I was an LFC supporter I would start to get mad at the team. How come with a great roster like the one LFC boasts they are not able to keep up in Premiership? What is really wrong with these guys? I fail to understand if Klopp time is over or the team is crushing down.

Great point^^ It was wierd with Tuchel substituting in Callum Hudson Odoi for Abrahams and then again substituting out Odoi and subsituting in Ziyech. Seems like there is lot going on in mind of Tuchel. Chelsea have a good squad depth but there aren't much impact players or in form players as it seems. Atletico Madrid are a good team and they have a very tactical manager Simeone who outsmarted Klopp in last year CL when defeated them in second leg.

Still it goes to show that every match is important for Chelsea and Tuchel right now.

You know what, Thomas Tuchel hasnt lose a single match yet with Chelsea and if this isnt being consistent then I dont know what is. You cant really expect Chelsea to win every match and also their main focus at this point would be to win The Champions League because there is only a slim chance left for Chelsea to top the board in EPL

How come Liverpool don't have their fangs anymore? will this be the 4th defeat?
The second minute has scored a goal by Everton and this is really difficult to predict even though only in the early minutes Liverpool have to be able to reverse the situation, sometimes they don't lose again like with Mancity, this will be far behind in points to catch the top standings.
But I am still optimistic that I want Liverpool to win.

Southamton 1 - 1 Chelsea

chelsea missed a great opportunity to have 46 points with this draw and chelsea's next games will be very difficult games:

first they will have to play against Atletico Madrid in the champions league and that will undoubtedly force them to work hard and 5 days later they will have to play against manchester united... I see that at least they can lose both games or draw in one of the two games, but I don't see them being able to win those two games

Oh! Can't believe Chelsea is about retracing there steps as with Frank Lampard and now, Thomas Tuchel! Consistency had always been the problem of Chelsea and i hope this is not another inconsistency on the way for Chelsea because, Chelsea ought to be winning all there games now to be at the top 4 in the EPL. There last hope of being at the top four now is in Tottenham winning there game against West Ham United. Thomas Tuchel has a lot of accustoming to do because, the EPL isn't League one. So far, the EPL has produced 2 draws today.

It a quite disappointing game I was full of hope of full 3 point until I saw the line up, the lineup was kind of below par considering the number of stars on the beach. Well too early to complain, I think the most important game is the champions league game against Atletico Madrid next week I think it was the reason he kept Silva on the bench. Chelsea controlled the whole game but the ability to kill off games is still a problem. Timo and Mount was the only people trying to get us goal others were just passing around doing nothing.... We build again.

Who would have thought Liverpool would be 6th coming into week 24 and Spurs managed by Mourinho would be 9th. EPl has become a lot more competitive than the other leagues. To be honest, somehow a few of the other leagues have improved in terms of quality of games as well. With such stacked schedule, top teams are finding it a lot harder to compete in all the competitions and it shows. Liverpool vs Everton Derby... I feel like it would become a low scoring affair. Will be watching.

Chelsea don't have a productive attack. Odoi , Mount are the only ones who is attacking good but others aren't committing much. Side like Southampton are very good in attacking and defensive wise, I know that in last couple of games that haven't been the case for Saints but they actually are a good side. Minamino scored a very good goal and Mount scored from penalty after Ings slightly wrong tackle. Good game from both sides but given the squad of Chelsea they need to solve their attacking problems especially when they have CL game up close like you said.

A game Chelsea should have won but had to fail in the end. The draw was an unfair result considering Chelsea were quite dominant in possession. This result will certainly be detrimental to Chelsea, they have the opportunity to lose their place in top 4 if West Ham United wins from Tottenham.
