The same thing was said of Manchester City about two months ago when they their series of draws and were placed at 8th position or thereabout, I'm quite convinced that Man City will still drop several points as the season progresses, Nothing can be ruled out just yet.

They still have UEFA champions league matches to be played in February, I wish they slip for a few points (sorry City fans).
Most of the teams already adapted to the pandemic situation. I think we will see less surprise this season compared to the last season.
City already backs on track faster than the rest. 8 clean sheets in 10 matches. hate to say this, but this season could be for them.

Chelsea 2 - 0 Burnley

Chelsea were deserved winners against Burnley; winning the tie with goals from full back Azplicueta and Alonso. It still wasn't an excellent performance but a good result for the team. Chelsea are now 4 points off the top 4 spot with as they sit on the 7th position.

Leeds vs Leicester :

I suppose this should be a high scoring tie; with Leicester being the eventual winner; but there are questions marks; can Leicester get a win without talisman cdm Ndidi ?

Second half is about to start for this Chelsea vs Burnley game. It looks like this would be Thomas Tuchel first win since becoming Chelsea's head coach. I'm enjoying Chelsea's intensity so far and Burnley did just enough in the first half to keep Chelsea's attacks at bay. Let's see if Chelsea can increase their lead or settle for a draw. I hope it's not the latter.

Yes, I thought so too .. West Ham is indeed on fire, and I think the opportunity to be able to shift Liverpool will be a motivation to get full points. While Liverpool even though they had just won over Tottenham but their backline in crisis, most likely Fabinho and Joel Matip will not play due to injuries.

While I won't deny our team problems including our poor defensive records in recent games, I have a feeling that we'll win West ham. I'm sure Klopp would want to keep our new found winning momentum going and we need those crucial points.

Today's game Chelsea against Burnley. Chelsea stats I'm expecting a full win. More than 1.5 Goals. The last 3 matches from Chelsea are still not that good. And now with a match which in my opinion there should be a big chance for Chelsea to be able to win full points to be able to secure its position. What about your opinion about Chelsea?

West Ham has a great form, they won their last 6 matches. They are playing in full concentration.
If Liverpool grab a point today they would be lucky. I don't think West Ham will lose at home.

Leeds vs Leicester :
Leeds have been a bit inconsistent as they are doing just enough to stay at midtable while Leicester are thriving under Rodgers as they are now 3rd with only 5 points between them and City . And seeing the H2H statistics suggest that Leicester could lose this match , they have been unbeaten in their last 5 games with Leeds.
If Vardy was fit then I'd be backing Leicester to pull off another win. It could be a tighter game to conclude the winner this time but I still think the home side have got enough about them to win but at the end I'm thinking to go with Both teams scoring.

Lol, even grabbing a point would be Liverpool being lucky, this is surprising! For a team like Liverpool and with the EPL at stake to there greatest rival Manchester city at the top of the league. Liverpool won't even be looking out for a point, they will be after all 3 points in this game. Jurgen Klopp would be at his best to make sure the game isn't lost or drawn, West Ham can only do there best not to be humiliated else, it's going to be messy.

Chelsea Vs Burnley has kicked off already and Thomas Tuchel has got another chance to prove his equal to the tasking EPL and a best choice as Frank Lampard's replacement. Let's see how he does by the way and hope he wins this one.

Who what thinks about the West Ham - Liverpool match? If Liverpool cannot win this match, then the championship can be forgotten this season. And this match will not be easy, because West Hem is now playing well and will not just give up a point in a home match. The situation for Liverpool is not easy anyway, the match will be nervous, there may be many violations.

Chelsea lineup against Burnley

Quote
Mendy, Alonso, Rudiger, Silva, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Werner

Good to see Alonso back to the team everybody is being given a fair chance to fight for the shirt yet again, some kind of rotation going on here Werner as ST I'm pained Ziyech is not on the sub; injured ?

Chelsea starting with a really unexpected lineup against Burnley today. Kante, Havertz and Chilwell all on the bench. They really do need this win so I'm interested to see how will they look today - it's a bit of a gamble from Tuchel early on.

I won't bet on it yet, but if it remains a draw until halftime (or ideally 60th minute), I will be placing live bets on Chelsea to win.

Betting-wise, Leicester looks like great value vs Leeds at 1.85 as well.

More games today, a bit more predictable?

The only challenging game here is Liverpool vs Westham game the Moyes Hammers are in perfect shape winning their last 4 games while Liverpool only won 1, this match could likely end draw. Chelsea, Leicester and Tottenham to win their games.

What a delusion Everton yesterday, unexpected loss against Newcastle. Everton didn't play bad at all, they had many good occasions to score but they failed to score even one goal. Three shots on goal for both teams but Newcastle was able to get 2 scores out of that while Everton netted a full zero. This game and the loss of the Saints broke my betslip. Not my lucky week  Smiley

Sometimes the favourite teams make bad surprises in league games. For example, Manchester Utd did the same thing against Sheffield a few days ago. In the Everton-Newcastle game, none of the sides was dominant. But in the end, Newcastle managed to be the winner with a 2-0 score somehow. They were going to get a win eventually after a long time but I wasn't expecting it to happen now.

The squad might be losing their confidence from the last game against Sheffield. Its kinda frustating to lose against a team that only won once so that might be one of the reason but to be honest Cavani wasnt doing much in this match. He might play better as a replacement rather than starting squad ( my personal opinion )

Ole was trying out some changes and I feel that he should have tried that against teams not in best shape. There were many chances but both sides defended well. As for Cavani, was expected much from him but didn't delivered but maybe also due to how Arsenal defence performed so don't blame him much but he scored in the chance he had.

It was a great game boring for the viewers but both teams played their best and 0-0 was the outcome due to that.

Manchester United really dominates the match but based on Arsenal's match record is very difficult to beat at home even the lowest conceded
So I'm not sure Man United will win the worst that can happen is a draw. Arsenal also rely on counter attacks so Man United must be more careful.
Both team still have a lot of trouble scoring goals despite having made several good attempt. It is very likely that these two teams will share the point today and the match will end goalless as time is running out. If this happen then Manchester United are increasingly at risk of losing second place, which Leicester City will probably overtake tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Leicester City will play against Leeds United tomorrow which will make them the favorite team in that match. Leicester is likely to win the match, it will cost Manchester United a lot of course.

Well, exactly as I thought the match was draw, this is not a bad result for Manchester because against Arsenal is not easy this seems fair to both fans  Cheesy
Yes, tomorrow Leicester will shift Manchester from 2nd place I can see they are still ambitious to repeat the success of several years ago. Leicester are on the right track to get closer to Man City.

In my personal opinion it’s a horrible result for Manchester United, because Arsenal was playing a weak team and Manchester United should have tried to win this fixture. Furthermore I’m not even sure if they’re in the title race anymore because with performances like this I doubt that they’ll last long in the top 4 too.

Who excited? Well, I am I can't wait to see another masterclass from Tuchel, this is a must-win match for Chelsea to keep up the top4 pressure high. The players were made to use a tennis ball to train in other to build their ball control abilities, Tuchel is a tactical coach with a lot of surprises I'm waiting Chelsea.. Com'n.

My prediction: 3-0
