Do you think Ben White is a good transfer deal for Arsenal? I mean he's a talented young player but 50 million £ seems too much, isn't it?
Arteta looks happy about it. I hope he performs well and maybe Gunners will sell him for higher price later. 5 year deal is secure enough for the player. I wonder which other defenders you can buy with same amount of money, I still feel it's overpriced. Hopefully return of that investment would be good in the pitch.

There is nothing weird about how the Van de Beek situation has been handled at Manchester United. He came into the team knowing he is a back up #10, a new league, a new environment, culture and importantly a different team set up. VDB mostly last season was just unlucky with injuries, missing out when he shoulda been playing with other midfielders injured.

This season is different, VDB is fresh returning from injury, baulked up his shoulders and laps and ready for the physicality of the premier league. My advice- watch out for ole balls
Also remember that van de beek is a very young player, he is only 23-24 years old and that is not really that high, especially in our today's football where players may end up playing until 40 years of age, that means dude could play as much as 15 more seasons, but likely possibility is at least 10-12 more seasons easily.

So maybe United is just giving him time on smaller and lesser important games, put him on friendlies and practices/trainings, and basically all around evolving him to number one option OR maybe just sell him if he doesn't show any decent improvement. Most of the time unless you are a huge name in football, you are first put to test and if you end up actually providing something then you will be asked to actually play, but very rare amount of players giving the shirt on their first game, usually you need to show something in the team itself as well.

I don't think the assumption to begin with was to have Van de Beek as a backup No10, he can play in various roles in the midfield

I dont think he is able to play as the playmaker for the team. He is more of a box to box midfielder and he should be pretty good in defending but the problem with last season aside from him being injured was that Ole need all of the midfielder to be creative then help with attacking. Thats probably the reason that he was left out because in term of attacking, the others were better than him

but Ole must however show that he still remains within the teams plans in order to keep him at the club.

He has the potential though but potential is not good enough to make it to the starting lineup because he needs to show good performances whenever he is placed on the team

Donyell Malen joined and signed a contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2026 in a £26 million transfer. Liverpool have also previously been linked with this one player. Liverpool's failure to sign Malen makes their job seem quite heavy in the transfer market this time, there are still several names associated with Liverpool, but it seems the names of these players are still just rumors. Klopp is one of genius coach, as long as there are not many long injury problems suffered by Liverpool last season, there is a potential for Liverpool to try to get the trophy back and race with Chelsea, MU, City and Leicester for title or at least finished on positions 2 or 3.

There is lot of time in transfer window and I am sure Konate wouldn't be the only transfer to secure this window. They know that their mid is quite weak with Wijnaldum leaving Liverpool so I am sure they would be surely looking for a strong midfielder and there are lot in market. At this point there is Saul and Pogba rumours going on and I think anyone out of both would be good signing in midfield area.

League race this time won't be that easy. Lot of teams are making good signings like Aston Villa, West Ham, Leicester and that is making the competition bit rough in my opinion, but lets see. Its not that far.. only two weeks left for new season to start.
Liverpool needs a new blood in the offensive line and some vitality in the midfield but in defense they are covered and despite the signing with Konate to support their defense, but the return of  Van Djik is the most important contract this season, regardless of the contracts that the club may make.
His presence in the fighting and leadership personality had a great role in Achieving the league and before him the Champions League for me is one of the 3 best defenders in the world .

I don't think the assumption to begin with was to have Van de Beek as a backup No10, he can play in various roles in the midfield, and looking at his stellar performance at Ajax before Man Utd went all out for him shows there was supposed problems he could solve for the team, but adapting to the league and injuries also played its part in his limited performance, but Ole must however show that he still remains within the teams plans in order to keep him at the club.
Van de beek was one of the highly rated player when he was first signed to Manchester United, but is seems he is no longer in Ole's plan.He has struggled to adapt to the premier league system of play. And I think if Ole gives him more playing time,he will do well.He has also struggled with injury and the coach should also look at that. But undoubtedly,Van de beek is a very good and talented player who can improve the squad if the coach believes in him.

According to the news, Manchester City's 27-year-old goalkeeper Ederson is getting ready to extend his contract for 3 more years. It would be really great for him and the team. He has been one of the greatest goalkeepers in Manchester City's history, in my opinion. It's better for City to keep him.
Ederson is still quite reliable and for a 27 year old lad he still has a long way to go.
And as far as I know goal keepers get better with age so we are yet to see the best from him in the next 3 to 4 seasons.

This is a very quality signing for Chelsea that needs a backup goalkeeper, and bettinelli is a quality signing that can even compete with their first choice keeper. While at Fulham he was very good,so this is a bargain buy for Chelsea.
There can never be two three kings in one kingdom, either someone is going to rot on the bench or they could be planning to dispose of one of the keepers with time. I think Kepa's time at Chelsea might be running out. He was so error-prone as compared to Mendy's performance.
I feel mendy has  been the preferred choice for the longest time and they are better off letting kepa out so that he grows career wise.

There will be a question on what will Solskjaer do with Van de Beek this season either he give him more time or will he keep him out of the squad for most of the periods?
He transformed from main player a in Ajax to a seat warmer on the bench between him and the nearest supporter, a distance of only two meters.
This player was not brought to an end, but was at the height of giving.
It is weird for Van de Beek because Manchester United considered him as a very important player for them to release Pogba from defense. Nevertheless, he has never been given real chances to show since the transfer to Old Trafford.

I feel like Solskjaer did not want to have Van de Beek and that transfer was finished by someone else, and don't have any interests from Solskjaer.

I really feel bad for all these young talents and he is not the only one. He was the star player at Ajax but there were also other superstars I argue are even bigger, at least 2 I can remember who went to Chelsea and also almost did not play anything sometimes not even on the bench. I remember not one single guy scored more than 10 goals at Chelsea and they had top strikers from US and Germany
Ziyech did not have good first season in Chelsea and he used to be a very important player in Ajax. He together with de Beek and de Jong made a very strong midfield area for Ajax and brought that club to Champions League semi final.

Premier League is not an easy league to adapt to for newcomers. No matter how talented they are.

It is true that the coach's choices do not interfere with them, especially when they give a result, but Van de Beek He never had the opportunity to adapt, and he might get a a chance in a match and not offer anything.
I don't think the player knows that he is in the ranks of United. He needs to be  running with the flow this year the only thing will get him those chances if Pogba gets sold this summer which is possible given his situation.

Bad choices? Haaland I guess making right choices so far.

He is a good goalkeeper, but for the level of Manchester City one could have taken a more experienced goalkeeper. Although it is possible that club is an expectation that Ederson will become a graduate of the Manchester City school, that is, he is a very promising goalkeeper and he will be trained and gain experience in the team, and so the club can make him a world-class goalkeeper.

PSG Goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola have been successfully transferred on loan to West Ham. He was transferred last season also on loan to Fulham, although, Fulham got relegated. He 28 years old Goalkeeper said, he will try his best to help West Ham this season. I see Alphonse to be an experience and talented Goalkeeper.

Yeah he really performed great from Fulham last season. He pulled off some amazing saves in last season but despite his excellent performance throughout the season Fulham were unable to stay out of relegation. Great for West Ham and Areola as West Ham will get a good and talented goalkeeper for this season and Areola also would get good amount of football unlike in PSG where there already good amount of experienced players in GK position like Donnarumma and Navas.
It seems that Alphonse Areola is used to being a loan player, because if I look at the available data, it seems that Areola is a player who continues to be on loan because every season he always changes clubs as well. Don't understand what PSG's target is, because Areola has often changed clubs and has had enough playing time, so I think PSG should get his services but yes we know PSG are a rich team who seem to be better off signing the best goalkeeper at the moment like Donnarumma. Well, hopefully Alphonse Areola can show his best performance with West Ham, because maybe next season Areola can be fully owned by West Ham.

Areola had a main position in PSG even in the season Gigi Buffon played for PSG. The appearance of Donnaruma makes his position worse and become the third choice in PSG. He is brave enough to leave the club before a new season. He is a good goal keeper but does not belong to the best goalkeepers in the world.

Quote
Ever since Ederson arrived at Manchester City in 2017, he have been really helpful to the club. Manchester city took a good step by extenting he contract. He have kept 95 clean sheets in 192 appearances in Manchester City, and I think he will do more greatly for the team.
Ederson stepped up to a higher level since the transfer to Manchester City and he help Pep Guardiola to run his tiki-taka and ball possession philosophy very smoothly. Before the appearance of Becker in Liverpool, Ederson is the best goalkeeper in Premier League.

Despite of that, generally, Ederson is the best goalkeeper in Premier League in the last 4 seasons. Becker does not have as stable performance as Ederson.

Raphael Varane: Does defender mean Man Utd are Premier League title contenders? according to this article  which highlighted the chances of Man Utd  contending for EPL title this season personally I believe the partnership Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane will be very solid at the back this season while the numbers of goals conceded by Man Utd will reduce and there will be stability in the defense I have the confidence that the duo will make a huge difference defensively Bailly and Lindelof were just an average defenders having performed below expectation its quite unfortunate that Man Utd had so far  spent huge amount of money on defenders yet no positive results let hope this season will be different what are you opinions on the article?
Sure it will be interesting to see maguire and varane in man united defense but varane need to be focused this season and not repeat the mistakes he did with real madrid which had an impact on the results in many games i think if we see the varane of his debute with real madrid then man united can be a title contender with good players in the midfield and the attack next season premiere league will be on fire.

They will be good but I am not sure they will manage to attack the title. I see them on position 3 or 4 at the end, they just don't have the constant City has. Livepool will also be much better this season with supporters i the stadium and Van Dijk back from injury. Chelsea is also signing some good players and they are for me the team which will fight neck to neck with united for 3rd position.
Seeing how Tuchel has Pep’s number, I think it’s Chelsea that’s challenging for the title.  I like Liverpool’s chances too but I think they’re going to continue to cool down esp with VVD just getting off injury.  We can’t be expecting peak Van Dijk of the bat after 9 months in the sidelines imho.
Yes, the season is going to be interesting and unpredictable, and Manchester United with the transfers of Sancho and Varane also looks like a very real contender for the title. At least, Solskjaer is happy that these deals have already been settled and it's time for Manchester United to claim some title this season. As for Chelsea and its claims to the championship, the situation is not completely clear, because to win the title you need to win against more opponents than in the cup system of the decisive matches of the Champions League. I think that this season Liverpool should show their championship ambitions after a disastrous season.

He is not just the best goal keeper in Manchester city history but for the entire premier league history he happens to be one of the best. I think the Brazilian keeper has earned himself a good contract ahead of the premier league after recorded 19 clean sheets over the course of the 2020/21 top-flight campaign, retaining the Premier League Golden Glove in the process.

De Beek deserves playing time, Paul pogba despite been the best player in Manchester United has been disrespectful to the  club on several occasions, it's high time Manchester United part ways with him.
Van de Beek has shown eagerness wanting to play i am also seeing a lot of playing time for him these season.
