This Chelsea new manager to me is confused on what to say concerning the team after losing to Manchester City he still had to come out and say it was because of the pitch on which both teams played on that was why the squad performaned badly and that was why they conceded those goals. I only see a man who will complain at any given opportunity and not a coach that's ready to take the fall for the team and make amends.
Enzo Maresca is one lucky man because if it was the former owner he would have been thinking on how to replace him because he can't even work understand pressure especially when the team is losing, he can't make some changes that would change the outcome of the game to his favor. I don't know how he's going to do it but I hope the players can help him out because the journey of next season is going to be hard for the coach.
This isn't the first time Chelsea has lost a preseason game, for Enzo Maresca to claim that the pitch was too bad for the players, which caused a poor performance that led to them conceding four goals. Chelsea conceded four goals in their last two games against Celtic, will the manager claim that it was because of a bad pitch? They conceded two goals in less than five minutes, Manchester City is a good club, and Chelsea lacked the strength to compete with them, with the young players they are recruiting for Enzo Maresca. Chelsea's performance will be difficult to improve next season since I didn't see any changes in their game, this is how they performed last season.
Arsenal finally gave up on getting the Newcastle United striker because their offer was rejected, or in other words, Newcastle didn't want to sell him. I think that the improvement in Isak's quality has attracted a lot of attention, but it's a shame that Arteta's target has failed.
For Eddie, of course he wants to keep Isak together because they have a big target this season to be able to compete again at the top of the standings.
So for the Gunners, of course they want to improve their front line because they need an attacker who can score lots of goals to bring them to victory in every match.
Well, I haven't heard anything about Arsenal's interest in signing Isak from Newcastle, but if the rumor is true, I think it's a shame that Arsenal gave up on getting the Newcastle striker, Alexander Isak has been in excellent form since last season, scoring 21 goals in the Premier League. Several clubs have shown interest in signing Isak since last season, but Newcastle refused to sell him, they want to keep the player to compete for next season. Arsenal needs a top striker like Isak to improve their performance next season since they cannot pay the price of Osimehn, so I believe Isak is the best option to improve their front line.
