Every manager will always tell you that their squad don't have what it takes to win the trophies. In this case I think Eric Ten Hag is trying to use what is called reverse psychology on his players. And if you don't understand you might think that he's playing down the chances of his team winning trophies this season. But indirectly he is trying to ginger up the players and make them see reasons why they should up their games and prove him wrong. I wondered if I am the only one who feels like Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag did not feel disappointed when he said all those words in the press conference, imagine how a coach opens his mouth he says the team doesn't have what it takes to win a trophy, a coach can not be saying all those things that he is saying and again he is still the problem of the team, Manchester United should realize that the coach is the main problem of the team, I have never seen any coach that keeps doing the same thing that makes his team lose except Manchester united coach.

Remember this is Manchester United, a big team. Coach Ten Hag needs to build confidence in the players to be determined to compete no matter how difficult the situation is. I believe Manchester United management needs to understand that Ten Hags is not the right person to build the team, Manchester United has more players than most of the Premier League top teams, but Ten Hag lacks the experience to build the team, how can he claim that they don't have what it takes to win the league title, that is not the best way to encourage players because every Manchester United player wants to win the league title, they are not there just to win games and finish in the top four.
