It's ridiculous to keep adding 1 more goalkeeper, why have more than 2? I am surprised by Chelsea transfer pursuit which can be said to be a waste of time and money.
Maybe Chelsea don’t really know what their problem is, because I am just kind of surprised that adding a goalkeeper is the only thing they could even think about. Goalkeeper isn’t even part of the problem Chelsea is having currently. I don’t know what Chelsea will be doing with so many goalkeepers that they are having, their defense is just kind of poor in all their pre season matches, they are not talking about how they will improve their defense or other positions. I am not just impressed with Chelsea's performance in all the pre season matches, and I have the feeling that their performance won't change even when the season starts.

I am of the opinion that preseason games shouldnt be compared so much with real season games. It’s just not relatable to some extent because players tends to be at their best and coach be at their best strategy when they are playing games during the season. Chelsea have a very big season ahead of them after signing a new coach, he has to be in his best form and give Chelsea the best chance possible to finish in at least the top four positions on the premier league table. They’ve now missed the champions league competition for about two seasons now which is not a good one for them as a top team in English league. Signing of goalkeeper and having more goalkeepers added to their squad is not something that’s bad, they can have them all but at least try to be in their best form when the season begins fully.

From the 2 upcoming pre-season matches, everyone will definitely be looking forward to the Manchester City match that will face a popular club from LaLiga.
I have a thought that if the upcoming match Pep Guardiola uses the main players, I am sure Manchester City will win by scoring over 2.
If Manchester City uses reserve players, it is likely that City will lose by a scoring over 2.

It is difficult to predict pre-season matches but for me this is very profitable and I hope Pep Guardiola uses the main players and includes new players who are recruited to see how strong Manchester City is.
It will indeed be a pretty good match where matches like this are definitely awaited especially Barcelona and Mancehster City are 2 big clubs. It's just that for betting in a friendly match I'm still not so sure this will be profitable.

We know that in the end friendly matches are sometimes only used as an option to test players and formations which sometimes in this case victory is not something that really has to be obtained because the goal is not victory.
But even if that's the case there are some possibilities for big club matches such as victory will also be sought despite friendly matches because after all sometimes when big matches like this there is a situation where the club wants to show the best so that victory can be sought. But I personally prefer to watch rather than bet on matches like this.

Manchester City hasn't recruited much players this transfer window apart from Savinho, I don't think they have brought in any player to the main team. But judging by how Guardiola usually do his things, I think he is more likely to use more of academy players and mix it up with some players from the main team. Guardiola always like giving young players opportunities to show themselves up in preseason matches, because that's one way to discover new talents. But irrespective of how the team line up to play against Barcelona, one thing I'm sure is that Manchester City will definitely score a goal if not goals because Haaland will definitely feature in the match. You know preseason matches like this goals are easily scored, so both teams are definitely going to be on the score sheet.
It will be a difficult match for both teams, but I think facing such opponents in pre-season friendlies is a better way to get to know the team. Guardiola has not stopped contacting the Spanish and has made them agree to a friendly match with Barcelona. This will also be a very serious test for Barcelona. Flick will see the level of his players in 2 days. I hope it will be an enjoyable match.

Mason Mount has been one of Chelsea's bright stars back when he was playing for the Blues but they went their separate ways as of last season where he joined Manchester United, a move no one saw coming and ever since then we haven't seen that bright star of Chelsea doing his best for the Red Devils, it was even bad to the point that he couldn't play due to injury and it some how looks like this player went over for the money, I think is just assumption but it seems true.
Since the big move Mount have been on the lips of fans especially Chelsea fans that criticize the player and I think is only one season to say he isn't going to excel at UTD, 11 games 1 goal no assist, to me this is the worse of the man Mount. How is he going to be in great form next campaign because we know last season injury got a better part of him, can he come back better this coming season? Has he been over criticize since the big move to Man UTD? What do you make of this.
I mean he doesn't look like he is getting a second look, which means that I am sure the yare going to let him go, not something impossible to do and I guess that we are going to probably end up seeing him change teams soon. I was shocked to learn that they did not sell him this year, I was thinking that he would be one of the first to go, but United is not just letting players go for nothing anymore, they are trying to get whatever they can get, to make that money back.

I mean look at Antony, he still looks like someone they should get rid of very quickly, one more season of him being terrible could mean that they may not get even 30 million for him, at least this year they could try to get something like 30+10 type of deal or something. In the end, Chelsea still looks quite lost, they are looking like they would be barely in top 10, the team doesn't look like they fit together. If United could stop having these awful injuries they look like they might be a good team.

I don't know what Chelsea aim to achieve with all these players they are signing but I don't think it will make any changes. For the past few months, Chelsea have signed more than enough players as if they are attempting to change the entire squad. I don't know whether they have no intention of using the old players. I just hope the expenses will not be in vain.
They have so many players, right now Chelsea have 3 good goalkeepers: Sanchez, Kepa and Petrovic, now they want to add one more which is Filip Jørgensen.

Most of top teams only have 2 goalkeepers, only few teams have 3 goalkeepers, having 4 goalkeepers when all of them are available is really wasting time and money.

If they plan to sell or loan their players, it doesn't that easy except they don't mind to trade in loss.
Definitely Chelsea surplus goalkeepers would be sold or loaned out especially Kepa or Petrovic because Enzo Maresca knew the reason why he signed Filip Jørgensen probably as playing goalkeeper who can start or launch attack from the defence just like what Onana  and Ederson had been doing in Man Utd and Man City respectively, I knew each manager has there own style of play and would always work and play with their trusted players to suit his tactics, meanwhile  Chelsea are known for their wastefulness in term of signing players recall their previous players signed with huge sign-on fees yet later sold to Saudi Arabia clubs, players like Koulibaly, Mendy etc

Looking at the Manchester City squad and the available players at the club manager's disposal, I don't think they need to sign many players this summer transfer window. Savinho that recently joined the club is a very good addition since he can play in the attacking midfield position as well as from the flank. In all the positions that's required for a team to start a football game, Manchester City does have two or three quality players in each position which are all world class players so signing more players this summer will be an unnecessary waste of fund if you ask me.
You are right about this, you know that's exactly what Pep Guardiola said, that he doesn't think that the club need new addition unless someone leaves before the transfer window. That he is hoping no player leaves, but nobody knows what will happen from now and the end of the transfer window. And so far no Manchester City player has left and the rumors about Ederson leaving has not yield any positive result. Ederson has said he is happy at the Club and he is happy to hear the manager say that he is needed in the club. So I don't think it will be a busy transfer window for Manchester City, unless for few academy players that will need to go out on loans.

Arsenal complete £42m signing of Riccardo Calafiori as Mikel Arteta welcomes 'big personality and character' in Gunners' push to challenge Manchester City

The Gunners announced the arrival of the defender on a long-term contract on Monday. The Premier League side were convinced to snap up the Italian after an impressive season in Serie A with Bologna and his starting role in the Azzurri's Euro 2024 campaign.

Calafiori's move to north London ended weeks of speculation as the Gunners saw off competition from Juventus and Chelsea to agree terms with the Italy international. The 22-year-old is capable of playing at both left-back and centre-half.

WHAT MIKEL ARTETA SAID
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hopes that the new signing will boost his team's defence and increase their chances of challenging for the Premier League title after missing out again last season.

He told the club's website: "We welcome Riccardo and his family to Arsenal. He is a great signing and gives us huge strength to reinforce our defence.

"Riccardo is a big personality and character, with specific skills which will make us stronger as we push to win major trophies. He has already shown great development in recent seasons with his performances for both Bologna and Italy, with his progression and development in the past year being really impressive."

Pep has already complained about the schedule and said that players don't have time to rest properly, so I think the main squad won't be at this match, or at least the key players that can make MC win. So it's a great opportunity to put the newcomers on the pitch and see how they perform, hopefully it will be like that

Man city 3 - 4 Celtic

We saw match between Celtic football team and Man City football team in the Kenan Memorial Stadium . That match was  not one sided and every person enjoyed this match . The shots of Man City team were more in number and shots on target were also more in number  but Man  City team could win this match because they did only 3 goals in this match and opponent team did 4 four goals in this match. Kühn was the person who played excellent role to win this match because he did 2 goals in this match and that is not easy to do 2 goals against Man City. Both team were of same capacity but onlyone teams wins the  match. Palma did excellent goal and after that no team did any goal and according to my point of view Palma is match winner and he did goal at best time and he did at 68 minutes of  match.
I feel maybe it's because the match was a pre-season match that was why Manchester City had to allow those number of goals, because I believe if it was a competition, I trust Manchester city would have done better, al lest not concede those number of goals. Though CITY tried to play to take the lead, but it was just an unfortunate day for the citizens.

Celtic on the other hand came out in full force with the mindset that they are playing against the premier League champions, so there is need to pull out all our arsenals against them, which they eventually did. Winning Manchester City 4-3 will certainly boost the moral of those Celtic players.

After all, Kepa Arrizabalaga has also returned from loan and thus, the Chelsea defense or goalkeeper next season should be fine. But indeed, about the transfers made by Chelsea at least there is still no guarantee that it will be able to provide good results for Chelsea next season. But maybe,  because Chelsea has a wealthy owner and makes Chelsea's finances also remain good despite buying players, thus they are likely to continue to make player transactions.

But with this, then of course Chelsea fans also really expect good results for Chelsea next season. But, because Chelsea had poor results in these pre-season matches, it is likely that Chelsea fans will also doubt Enzo Maresca.  Although indeed, pre-season matches do not guarantee the same results for next season later, but at least Enzo Maresca is able to make Chelsea get good  results at this moment, at least to look good and promising before entering the new season.

Chelsea wants to be a goalkeepers collector. I was OK if the new recruitment was in the same level as Raya or Allison, but Filip Jørgensen is a meh. I wonder why Chelsea bought this average goalkeeper for a very expensive price. Nothing special about Filip Jørgensen.
Also, Petrovic is the only good GK among all the GKs available in Chelsea. Sanchez and Kepa were bad, then they added another bad goalkeeper to the lineup. A nonsense decision by Chelsea.

Most of top teams only have 2 goalkeepers, only few teams have 3 goalkeepers, having 4 goalkeepers when all of them are available is really wasting time and money.
So true, but hard to guess what plan owned by Chelsea for all of these GKs.

It's hard to loan GKs to another club. Chelsea's GKs have terrible stats, except Petrovic. But I'd prefer Chelsea to trade in some GKs at a loss instead of overpaying them.

Pep Guardiola will bring in players based on the team's needs like last season Manchester City spent 260 Million for 5 players or in the 2022/23 season they spend 155 million for 5 players so we can assume Manchester City spends more than 100 million in each transfer window meanwhile, for this transfer window they only spent 25 million well, I'm not sure Manchester City will stop here I'm sure they're still looking for some players and we just wait until the last week.

We know the competition for next season will be even tighter so they need to prepare a more complete team, while Arsenal and Chelsea are so far ambitious to win the title meaning Manchester City must take the same steps. I predict Manchester City will look for a goalkeeper because of the 3 goalkeepers one will move while the other 2 goalkeepers are old players so a replacement must be prepared.

Betting who is coming out between Manchester City and Barcelona is like putting hands on high voltage will low insulation but you made the right decision by going over. Hopefully they used the main squad by the two teams, you should have more than that but even if they don't use the main squad, just a couple mixed midfielders and Forward, total goal should be above 2 or if the match is not boring, there will be more goals.

Pep has been silent all while and enjoying his break but I'm sure he still got some nerves strong in him. The only person I'm waiting to see is Flick, I want to see how he is going to push Barcelona ahead of this season and if sacking Xavi is worth it because I'm even thinking this Barcelona and Manchester City looks like a set up, first match to test one of the best team in Premier League is crazy.

The match against Barcelona will be very worth watching even though the match is only a friendly match, but the match will be emotional for Pep Guardiola who has left Barcelona for more than 12 years and of course he will be very nostalgic for the Barcelona squad although they are opponents, for Hansi Flick is clear that the match against City will be proof for him to show his quality and ability to coach Barcelona at this time, so I think both teams will try to target victory in this match to please their fans and we can be sure that both of them will field their best squad in the friendly match later, Barcelona, which is under Hansi Flick coaching, will try to challenge a team that is currently better than them and like you of course I also see that Manchester City will be able to beat Barcelona in that match, because Barcelona game under Hansi Flick is currently not very solid considering him haven't had much time to develop Barcelona game so far.

Friendly matches cannot be used as a full reference, because Enzo Maresca will not force his squad to win. In addition, Enzo Maresca also considered the risk of player injuries because the Premier League will soon start, but the defeat should encourage them to perform better in the future. Sure enough, we realize that Enzo Maresca deserves a chance, at least for one season, let's see how Chelsea performs in official matches. Expectations for Chelsea are actually not too high, if they are able to compete in the top four of the standings I think that is very good. If Todd Boehly had not fired Pochettino, it is likely that they would have been able to win a ticket to the Champions League next season. Next up for Chelsea is a clash with Club America, a great opportunity to get a win and make fans believe that Chelsea can be on fire next season.
Whatever the results achieved in the pre-season matches cannot determine the suitability or inability of the coach to handle the team, the coach will not force the players too much to achieve victory because he is very aware of the risks that will be faced. Injuries suffered by players in pre-season matches will be very detrimental to the club, the coach will also be even more burdened if the injured player is an important player in his squad.

Enzo Maresca will try to take advantage of the opportunity given by Chelsea management to achieve satisfactory results, he will try to do something that the previous coach was unable to achieve to maintain his position. Chelsea management is not too demanding of Enzo Maresca to make Chelsea the new champion in the EPL because they are very aware of how difficult it is to compete with Manchester City who always perform optimally. Finishing in the top four will make Chelsea management feel satisfied with their performance, they also need to build new strength slowly and will try to improve the quality if Enzo Maresca is able to make Chelsea compete in the top four.

Again, Man United has to experience serious problems with its current players who are currently undergoing examinations related to injuries. Initially, Ten Hag might have wanted to warm up each player before the new season match began, but it would be more appropriate for Ten Hag not to use the main players in the pre-season match to avoid major problems such as injuries.

I do not blame anyone and I even admit that Ten Hag has good intentions but it would be better for the main players to just warm up during training without having to participate in the pre-season match.

What I am saying is actually a support for Man United who are currently continuing to look for new quality players. So everything will be in vain if it is not managed properly by the Man United players. And I hope the injury is not too serious and the two players will recover soon.
It's an unwise decision by ten Hag to start his big boys in pre season friendlies because it then makes it pointless of having those academy boys. It's like the preseason games and other unimportant tournaments are their opportunity to be featured but when you make use of your very limited first team players, things like this should be expected.
It is a bad time to get injured and for a player like Hojlund who needs to grow his confidence more, this will affect him and will leave more load on the new attacker, Joshua zirkzee.
Their game against Real Betis will really be a tough one and will test their strength because the Spanish side are the type of club that would wear  out any team who don't have the stamina to withstand them.
