According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and PSG are competing for Victor Osimehn. Chelsea wants Osimehn on loan, but the player and his agency have denied a loan move. However, Arteta must work on how to bring in a new striker because Jesus and Havertz did not get the results they wanted last season, if they cannot afford to pay Osimehn's price, there is another striker they may ask for before the season begins.
You know, PSG have pulled out of the offer for Osimhen and have left the tussle to be between the English clubs and the two sides need a striker real bad but one is requesting for a loan with an option to buy while Arsenal are a bit stagnant; instead turning their energy on Real Sociedad midfielder, Diego Merino who has just been given a contract renewal by the club.
Arsenal can do better this season but they'll need more strikers. Fine, if they can't go for Osimhen, why not go for another equally better one instead of letting it die down till the transfer window closes?

Chelsea requested a loan for Osimehn with a buy option due to the signing of new striker Marc Guíu from Barcelona. Management may have preferred not to have two strikers on a permanent deal. However, I believe Osimehn prefers PSG over Chelsea because the English team does not know how to keep a player, they normally sell a player who does not perform as expected in his first season, while PSG dropped out of the race for Osimehn because of the high price and the players' refuse to reduce his salary. Arsenal can do better next season, but as you mentioned, they still need another striker to avoid repeating last season's mistakes. Arsenal had a goal differential advantage over Manchester City last season, but their performance declined with time, and Manchester City finished the season with the same goal as Arsenal. So Arsenal deserved a striker capable of scoring constantly to compete with Manchester City.

Arsenal's coming back stronger than ever. They were this close to snatching the crown from Manchester City last season - just two points! Two points!

These guys have got the talent, no doubt about it. What they need is that killer instinct, that never-say-die attitude in the big moments. Arteta knows this. He's gotta get them mentally tougher, physically stronger. Thats what turns a great team into a championship team.

And trust me, folks, these Arsenal fans are waiting. They've been waiting for this comeback since 2004. They want that trophy back in North London, and I wouldnt be surprised to see them hoisting it high come next May.
I think Pep or any other coach also won't be sleeping to ignore Arsenal now from the fact that we consider Liverpool more highly as title contenders than Arsenal when the season as not really gone far.

Pep can see that Arsenal are really trying to beat him to the EPL trophy these past two seasons winning with just few points especially last season, I'm actually more curious to see Man city performance this coming season, if they can still win the league or Arsenal may finally be the winner especially from the fact that this Pre-Season has not really be going well for City though it doesn't really matters much.

Chelsea have bad started on two pre season matches after getting bad result being draw by Football League one team Wrexham A.F.C and last match defeated by Celtic over 1-4.
I watched second pre season match when Chelsea defeating by Celtic and their performance very bad without organizing the games plan exactly with defense position. Maybe Enzo Maresca still make many rotation before finding the regular players for next season and still waiting some players returning back to the club after playing for their national team.

Enzo Maresca four pre season matches left before facing Manchester City on the first Premier League match, he must find right composition players and have good start if want secure the top fourth target by management or possibility sack from his position if Chelsea get bad start on the Premier League match.

Chelsea's pre season matches result

  • Chelsea 2 vs 2 Wrexham A.F.C
  • Chelsea 1 vs 4 Celtic
I think Chelsea have learned a lot from the previous draw against Wrexham but what we see is their bad luck continues against Celtic. It is unexpected that Enzo Maresca's squad has to suffer a heavy defeat and I think they are really not ready for the EPL next season. Just imagine with a result like this what can we expect from them even though they are facing a weak team in the EPL and the possibility of losing points is also much greater.

The next pre-season match is not easy because from the four matches they have to try the right strategy when facing Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inter and if they continue to suffer defeat then their mentality will definitely decrease and their depression will be difficult to overcome. I am not sure if Enzo Maresca is really the right coach but remembering when he was still the Leicester coach, I think he still has good magic for Chelsea.
Coaches of the both teams tried their best for the win of team but no team won the match and goal were level. We saw the level goal by 2-2.  Four players did 1, 1 goal in this match but the result of match was not decided. Both teams got 1 ,1 point and both teams were disappointed and they tried their best to do goal in the end but opponent team defend the Ball very well.Ugochukwu is player who did last goal of match and he saved his team lose otherwise his team could lose this match but I think Chelsea F.C. will be slightly happy . The stat of Chelsea F.C. team was good because they tried their hundred percent to win this match and all players pass the ball to another player  and their passes were more in number  and shots were also more

Arteta know how to fix things because now it's crucial time for him and his club after ending two time on second spot even both time they were doing impressive job but near the end they have problems which give them shock, and they fail to keep things on top next season is going to be more challenging because many clubs are preparing themselves for having better results.
It’s been two major disappointment for him thus far, how he often starts good and ends not badly but, not as he would have expected. Don’t know if that’s terrible but, he ought to fix his mistakes this time. EPL fans will be thrilled to have Arsenal lift the trophy. They’ve done good since the last two seasons and Arteta is by far one that we could largely agree can fix things.
He’s been busy in the transfer market however, looking for a means to have club depth and options on the defense. We would see how that holds up.

I agree with you but you see when Arsenal do sell some of these young guys they go out and become something bigger than when they were with the club which is bad, to me the profit should not be the problem but what will happen in the future concerning the player. Honestly the Nketiah transfer should be the first thing Arteta should have covered before the signing of the new defender and selling of Rowe, I don't even see anything positive Nketiah is bringing to the team, he isn't consistent and since Kai Havertz took over the attacking department his (Nketiah) form dropped, that's if he has got one.
You know getting more midfielders doesn't solve anything for the Gunners, the Gunners have Vieira on the team Jorginho, Rice, Thomas Partey and even Martin Ødegaard but Arteta is still struggling to get more midfielders, it won't help them go forward unless they get someone to cover that number 9 position I don't see Arsenal doing well in front of goal and they shouldn't rely on Kai Havertz.

Yeah, players like Robin Van Persie, Nasri,  Cese Fabregas, even Giroud left Arsenal and he had won the Champions League Competition. I know about it, same things similar to this happen with other clubs, take a look at the movement of Cole Palmer from Manchester City to Chelsea and he has become a player you can not stop nor drop.

Credits should go to the team, deals to gain from the player if he gets to win bigger trophies. Also, buy back clause can be even triggered if partof the contract. The lad wants more game time in my opinion.

How can you say that, they was close to winning it last season, don't pretend like they didn't fight to win the Premier League. They can not rely on players who are Injury prone in my own opinion. Exciting season ahead, I'm still hoping they'll win it this time. A new striker, a backup for Saka ( Pedro Neto ) is what they need now.

For the past three seasons now Arsenal have keep on increasing in their performance under the leadership of Mikel Arteta, he has really tried his best to rescue Arsenal from falling and currently battling for the title for three seasons and their main competitor is Manchester City who have been stopping them to get easy access to the Premier League title, but I still have faith in them to lift up under Mikel Arteta leadership and I suspecting it to happen this season because among all of the top team in the Premier League non of them have show any sign of fitness during this club's friendly match only Arsenal are doing fine, Manchester city that are the big competitor have not won any match, although this alone can not judge the strength of other because the the games are still pre season.
Just like you. I also believe that Arsenal will remain a strong team as long as it is coached by Arteta. And although I'm not completely sure about the current season. but I also hope that Arsenal will be able to win the Premier League title this season. I probably don't care too much about the results Arsenal will achieve in the UCL. But I prefer that Arsenal's main focus is to realize their goal of winning the Premier League title. But of course it would be great if Arsenal in the UCL did the same good things as in the Premier League. But last season it seemed like something like that didn't happen. Because Arsenal just play better in the Premier league.

Arsenal should forget about their hopes of lifting the trophy this new season if they don't bolster their frontline but rather depend on Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz because I don't see how doing the same thing over and over again will give you a different result.
I heard they've joined the race for Osimhen but I just hope it doesn't end there, but become serious and pen his signature else it will prove to be another disappointing season for them and fans. I think Arteta need to change the way he believes in a false 9 in his team if not it won't be a surprise to see them raise to get the league title but at the end of the season they will fail.

I did not include Arsenal in the list of clubs that will win trophies next season if they do not sign another striker to improve their center-forward; the club relied on Havertz and Jesus last season and failed to win anything. Arteta believes they can win a trophy next season if they rely on their current players; however, I disagree since they will struggle to win a title or even perform as well as they did the previous season. Many clubs have been recruiting players, Manchester City, who won a title league last season, has signed more players to continue at the level they were last season, but Arsenal just signed a center back Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna, and I don't think that's the cause of the club's problems.

Arsenal had two very competitive seasons with Arteta. They pushed Manchester City hard but couldn't win the championship in two seasons. They have longed for the championship for a long time. They want to relieve this longing this year. This year will be a very important year for Arsenal. From what I've observed, Manchester City is a little less strong than in previous years. This is actually an opportunity for Arsenal. They have been waiting for such a moment for a long time, let's see if they can be successful this year.

Arsenal are doing their best for fixing problems which they faced in last two years they are also in talk with Napoli about any possible move of Victor Osimhen even media reports are clearly saying they are not going over €100 million as Napoli already rejected few offers near this rang, so things are not favourable for them to have this star striker, but their search is on for their main striker because Smith Rowe is already offloaded, and he is going to have his place in another London club Fulham.

Arteta know how to fix things because now it's crucial time for him and his club after ending two time on second spot even both time they were doing impressive job but near the end they have problems which give them shock, and they fail to keep things on top next season is going to be more challenging because many clubs are preparing themselves for having better results.
Osimhen to Arsenal would be awesome of course, but the financials do not matchup if you ask me. Napoli is asking for 120+ from PSG, which means that they will probably ask the same from Arsenal as well, and while I agree that Arsenal is a rich club, that doesn't mean that they are going to be that rich, paying 120+ million euro for a striker doesn't seem like a smart move. I am not saying that they can't, financially maybe they can find a way to do it, which would be silly if they do, but they may have the funds available for something like that. What I am saying is not about being capable of doing such a thing, I am talking about if they should, they are not rich enough to keep doing this, so it would be very tough.

I suggest that they should think about that twice, like maybe put in instillments, pay in 5 years kind of stuff if they have to spend that much, otherwise it would be way too much money for someone who may not even be that great. Osimhen had just one amazing season, all other seasons he had was just normal, nothing extraordinary and he doesn't deserve a 120+ price tag the way he is. I think they should look for someone cheaper and someone they know can contribute for that amount.
If Osimhen joins Arsenal then they will have a striker who is quite strong and sharp in their current front line, especially if Arsenal is also able to recruit potential midfielders to support the performance of their front line next season, Last season Arsenal attack line was actually quite impressive in destroying an opponent with a big score but the majority of goals scored came from wingers but minimal contribution from center forwards, so Arsenal should improve their weaknesses if they want to compete as title challengers next season, although Arsenal actually has several center forwards but at the moment they can't be expected because it does have quite poor performance, the problem for teams who want to recruit Mbappe is actually not whether or not the team is rich enough to meet Napoli request of 120 million euros, but currently I personally tend to see these teams as being more selective in spending money at the moment, even PSG, which has very strong finances, actually prefers not to recruit Mbappe because they don't think Mbappe is worthy of being priced at more than 100 million euros and I think Arsenal also see this so they are reluctant to recruit Osimhen before Napoli lowers the price to a more reasonable one later.

Tomorrow we will watch Arsenal's friendly match against Liverpool. Of course, Arsenal in the season that just ended won the runner up ranking while Liverpool won the 3rd title and of course the two teams tomorrow when they compete, we will definitely see the strategies played by the two Club coaches.

Of course Arteta will definitely make a good strategy and I think he will definitely play some second tier players and of course I'm sure Arne Slot will definitely make a good strategy and of course will assess the strengths and weaknesses of the players he has.

in a friendly match it won't be as exciting as in the Domestic league but I predict that Arsenal will have great potential to win in that match of course we will definitely see Salah playing on the field but unfortunately it looks like Bukayo Saka will not play in that match. However, considering that this match is a meeting between the two big clubs in the EPL, of course it will be an exciting friendly match. Of course, Arne slot and Arteta will be serious about making a good strategy, but of course their last match in the EPL was when Liverpool lost to Arsenal with a score of 3-1, maybe tomorrow's match will be a revenge match for Liverpool. It seems that Arsenal is really improving their back line in preparation for next season, it seems that Arsenal is really ambitious for next season's competition to compete with Manchester City, Arsenal also brought in the targeted players who have been published to the public for some time, of course this is proof for Arsenal to continue to be a tough competitor for Manchester City, because Arteta's concoction is much better for the scheme that will be used for next season, whatever the results at least they are able to get the title next season which has not been achieved for a long time.

ESR is one of the young players who in my opinion is the most brilliant and talented that Arsenal have had so far apart from Saka, but unfortunately he has developed in the Arteta era, who is currently starting to try to build a team by relying on young and senior players, so it is difficult for ESR to get a place in the Arsenal main squad, if he had played and developed in the Wenger era which prioritized young players, of course he would have been able to get a first place in the main squad, yes, currently leaving Arsenal is one of the right steps for him to take considering that his position as a midfielder is now filled with many senior players, apart from that, he also often plays as a left back, but now the arrival of Calafiori will also threaten his position as a substitute for zinchenko or Kiwior.
Arsenal and Fulham have found an agreement at a price of 36 million euros and with the additional funds available from the sale of ESR, Arsenal should immediately return to being active in the transfer market to bring in a pure striker which was their weakness last season.

Apart from ESR leaving Arsenal at this time, the latest news states that muhammed  ElNeny has also joined Al Jazira Club (UAE) after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer.

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1818287937185796458?t=mG52RD1SHTx8_59Ogw78Ww&s=19

A fresh start is essential for ESR to truly shine! Though Arsenal supporters are disappointed, Fulham's move might be the best one for him. Arteta's Arsenal is based on the lockdown defence, thus a playmaker like ESR has no place. Kid wants open space, needs to run, and that isn't happening with the Gunners

Arsenal might even utilise the ESR money to get a new striker, therefore demonstrating their distinct approach than what ESR offers. Over at Fulham, he's not simply another man on the bench. The master in midfield they have been lacking. Fulham's approach is centred about middle inventiveness, ideal given ESR's background. For both teams, this is a match designed in heaven

Yes, the versatile attacker has struggled to nail down a regular place under Mikel Arteta. Once a key player in helping Arsenal overcome the crisis, now the only way for Emile Smith Rowe to continue developing his career is to leave the team he loves.

As of now, the careers of both Smith Rowe and Saka have taken very different turns. While his team-mate was gradually becoming one of the best right-wingers in the world, Smith Rowe was often in and out of hospital( a groin injury has significantly slowed down Emile Smith Rowe's career), facing the reality of having to move to a mid-table club to get more playing time. Hopefully, at Fulham, he will be a regular starter and continue to mature.

I don’t think Arsenal will sign Osimhen. I understand that there are speculations linking him to Arsenal but they are not true. The deal  is complicated and I don’t think Edu and Arteta would want to jump on it. I think their  position about Osimhen have been clear from the onset. He was never Arteta’s first choice. With what De Laurentis is asking for, I don’t think any European club will pay that amount for Osimhen. He is good player but he isn’t worth that amount at all.

PSG halted the deal because the money was ridiculous to pay. Player agreeing personal terms means jack shit if the buying club doesn’t agree a fee with his club. I heard they are monitoring Viktor Gÿokeres. He’s the preferred candidate for No. 9, if they really want to sign a striker this summer.

Arsenal will continue to strive for it and if we look at the progress they have made, it is not impossible because it has been seen in the last 2 seasons that Arteta has built this team with quite positive progress with progress each season.
Next season or the next season, but I am sure that this will be achieved if Arsenal continues to try to build this team.
And on the other hand, Manchester City is also quite strong with all its advantages so that it is quite difficult for Arsenal to surpass it.
And what must also be remembered is that Arsenal have not won the Premier League title for 20 years, of course it is quite difficult for them to get it again in the current era with a fairly minimal team mentality, different from Manchester City but everything takes time, let Arteta continue to build this team.
Not only Arsenal but all teams will try to win the Premier League title and that is the target of the team especially the top Premier League teams.
And for Arsenal, they have indeed had quite good improvements in the last 2 seasons since being coached by Arteta but that does not mean it can continue, anything is possible and it will not be easy for Arsenal.
The proof is that 21 years ago was the last time Arsenal won the Premier League title and after that until now they still have the same target but have never been achieved so it is natural if I say that it will not be easy even though in the last 2 seasons they have experienced an increase in team quality.

According to the previous match, Newcastle was able to beat Hull City with a score of 2-0 and without a doubt everyone will believe that Newcastle will also win against Urawa Reds.
In my opinion, Newcastle in this friendly match is difficult to predict and there is no other choice but to choose to bet under 3.5 with small odds but not too big a risk.

For Tottenham, I believe that this club will win this match but betting on Tottenham's victory for me is very risky when surprises come without us being able to predict.
We can see from the previous meeting that K-League XI had put up resistance and that means this club can give at least 2 scores to put pressure on Tottenham.

Do you think my picks are correct?
Give your thoughts and let's discuss this preseason game.

Of course, in the next season, Arteta will definitely try to improve Arsenal's performance and of course in the next season Arsenal will have to be really serious about winning every match and it will definitely not be an easy matter to beat Manchester City in the next season. and of course other teams also want to win the title in the coming season and there will definitely be the potential for tight competition in the EPL next season and indeed Arsenal have been runners up twice in a row and it would be very good if Arteta could make Arsenal become champions in the coming season and we'll see whether Arteta can make Arsenal's performance even better or not.

Of course, many Arsenal fans are disappointed because Arsenal always fail to become champions, but in the EPL the competition is very tight and of course it will not be easy for any team to become champions because if you want to become champions, of course you have to be a team that continues to win every match and also don't Until there is word of a draw in each new match, this will make a team lift the trophy and in the season that has just ended, of course the point difference between Arsenal and Manchester City is certainly thin, namely only 2 points.

Yes, hopefully in this transfer market Arsenal can really increase their strength to perform better in the coming season.
