I am sorry hilariousetc but it seems you have never played football in the real world. I had a futsal team some years ago and our supporters really made a difference.
It's important to feel that your supporters are pushing for you and are waiting for you to score a fantastic goal; not to mention they are good also if you lose because they won't let you down (unless your team is utter crap). Nope, I am sorry but I disagree completely with what you said. Wink

Agree with you there, think back to the CL semi final in 2019, Liverpool were 3-0 down from the 1st leg. Do you think it would have been possible to beat Barcelona 4-0 in the 2nd leg in an empty stadium with no Anfield atmosphere?

No chance!
You'll never walk alone, right?  Wink Yes, indeed no chance! That is the beauty of football without that it is really only 22 guys running after a ball! What a boring game. I miss so much not being able to go to a stadium and I hope this whole pandemic will soon be over so that we can have our lives back. I am tired of watching them on the TV.

One surprise actually is that Villa have only conceded 2 - both in that ridiculous Liverpool game. Their other three wins have all been clean sheets. Quite impressive given they had the worst defence in the league for most of last season. Looks like last season's signings have finally gelled, and this season's new defensive players (Cash and Martinez) have hit the ground running. I do think Europe would be a stretch, but on this early showing a top half finish looks achievable.

If they can beat Liverpool 7-2 anything can happen. I think they'll continue their winning streak and beat Leeds on Friday as well. No idea where they will end up by the end of the season but start as you mean to go on. With Van Dijk now out for the season that is going to seriously put a dent in their chances of winning and with City playing inconsistent maybe it's time for another team to win it this season. Everton are currently unbeaten and I wouldn't write them off this year as they have a very strong team.

It's official that Mesut Ozil is left out of Arsenal's Premier League squad. There's battle among Ozil and the Arsenal board, before getting it too serious better to move on another club. I believe leave the club may assist him to demonstrate his class, sometimes he might seem lazy but he is a great player indeed. Does anyone having feeling he gets bad treatment from the club?

Lolwut? Can't believe they didn't name him in the squad at least. So what happens now? He just gets to laze at home for the rest of the season unless Arsenal can ship him off to a country who's transfer window is still open (which is only China and Qatar as far as I know)?

We’re comparing Ozil to Ronaldo now? I think it’s time to go & have a lie down. Ozil is very talented but he hasn’t got one tenth of the work ethic CR7 has put in to get where he is in his career. We’re talking about a good player vs one of the best in history.

The days of Mesut Ozil I think are over as his form is not what he used to have when he was playing in the beginning of his career in Europe and this is normal because aging is a natural phenomen.I think that aging for Cristiano is different in the sense that no matter he is aging he is still playing as full power as when he was at Manchester United and Real Madrid.I agree this comparison is not real.

Mesut Ozil was so good player with all the fonds to become a legend in Europe.
After leaving Real Madrid it was about time for him to destroy his career. He had his chance on Arsenal but he was so bad all those seasons which led to his leaving out of the club.
He is going to find a new team but he is not going to get the money he got from Real and Arsenal.

I agree with you that, sometimes he might see lazy. It is true. But really, he is a great player. He has some incredible skills. If he working hard, I am hopeful that he will have more success. He has to working hard like CR7. Ronaldo have skills but by working hard he has taking himself to the list of the Legend. If Ozil working harder like Ron. I hope he will be the one of the best midfielders in history.
Is there any news about on which club Mesut Ozil will go?

You cannot compare him to Christiano Ronaldo! Other than Ronaldo, Özil seems to lack ambition and the will to play all the time. Right now he gets £350,000 a week at Arsenal and if they don't need him anymore, it's only Arsenals problem. As I said earlier, Özil will sit out that juicy contract no matter what. It was even rumored that he had an offer this summer from Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia where he would have gotten £200,000 a week for another 3 years. But I guess he's counting on the fact that Al-Nassr will repeat their offer next year when his contract in London has ended.

He’s on a massive salary & he doesn’t do much to justify it. I don’t think he gets a tough time, no. I’m sure the Arsenal fans wish no harm on him but they’re right to be annoyed at his lack of positive value to the team.

Does anyone having feeling he gets bad treatment from the club?

Looks like that with his name not listed in the arsenal squad for premier league and also the European league, but maybe Arteta sees that Ozil is not fit enough to be able to play for the team which eventually gives his position to other players who are more fit and can help team to get good results.

I totally hope that Manchester United win this one but to be honest its going to be hard . Chelsea will be aggresive on this match because they desperately need 3 points after the draw against Southampton

Yeah, Lampard's side would be much more furious with how they gave away easy 3 points and settled for 1. Same goes for Spurs as well.

In today's PSG Vs Manchester United I'll be expecting a both team score or PSG to win. This is the UCL and the big teams are always enthusiast about it plus, PSG has got the home advantage and now, what they need is the first matvh advantage as well which I believe, they will claim.

Yeah PSG are also bad in defence but I wonder if United will find it easy going against them. Both sides have some injured players, so it would be interesting to look at the lineups of both the teams. Maguire, Cavani is out so I am expecting Telles to start today. Though it would be fun to watch Neymar and Mbappe toying up with defence of Utd. today so looking forward to that.  Cheesy

And, Arsenal vs Leicester   Cool. I would have gone for Chelsea against United but want to see how Ole handle his new signings and how good they are. They might feature in today's CL game. Regarding City, I would say things have gotten difficult for Guardiola with injuries and this time is a bit serious. West Ham might have a shot consiidering Man City have CL game in between as well.
I doubt them featuring as, they might not have adjusted into the team properly due to little time for training though, I won't be surprised to see them on the pitch as the new normal comes with a lot of surprises. One thing I also hope to see is a some level of fans participation. I hope the UEFA Champions League follow up with what is going on in Seria A using what ever criteria available to allow some fans cheer their team and ads beauty to the sport.

Both team need a win to widen the gap with their competitor in the standing. But it would be nice if Manchester United won the game because I saw them teetering in 15th place with 6 point from 4 game. It's sad, but I hope they have to get up and find their rhythm again. Playing 1 game more make Chelsea ranked 8th with a collection of 8 point and if Manchester United wins then I think Chelsea will definitely be willing to be under Manchester United. But to be honest, Chelsea won't just give up and I'm sure it will be an interesting match. Don't want any surprises in this match.

This season will be a lot different due to no fans allowed and constant coronavirus suspensions so it is impossible to predict,

How is it going to be different from last season? Premier League was played without any supporter last season after the covid19 break

but based on team quality alone both teams are drastically overachieving.

This is what makes Premier League interesting, unlike all other league that keep on having pretty much the same favourites team that dominates top 3 every season. I would love to see either Leeds, Everton or Aston Villa actually dominates the league this season. I always love the underdog story especially after Leicester proved it by winning the league

And, Arsenal vs Leicester   Cool. I would have gone for Chelsea against United but want to see how Ole handle his new signings and how good they are.

From the next few will be interesting to watch the match West Ham and Mancity... And of course Manunited and Chelsea! In recent games with these clubs was scored a large number of goals!
Wow! At West Ham odd is 8.0... Wink

Aston Villa started really good, but they have much less quality than Everton. I see both teams dropping by a lot, Villa to 10th or lower and Everton out of the CL places by the end of the season. This season will be a lot different due to no fans allowed and constant coronavirus suspensions so it is impossible to predict, but based on team quality alone both teams are drastically overachieving.

On a side note, Mesut Ozil will be left out in league registrations - meaning he won't be able to play for Arsenal at all this season. He was previously left out for Europa league as well.
Fair play to Arteta, now it's finally over. I wonder who will take him.

Yo know it is only five games , this hype maybe will be oover in next five games .

Yes, that's what I said Smiley There's no way they'll hold on to second or a champions league qualification place, Europa league place seems unlikely too. But they were solid after the lockdown restart, and look more solid now. I'm not saying they're an outsider for the title, more that they look like a decent mid-table team now rather than relegation scrappers.

I do think Europe would be a stretch, but on this early showing a top half finish looks achievable.

Similarly with Everton, they look better than last season, but there's no chance they'll remain top of the table. There's a huge gulf between the top few teams and everyone else. I expect to see Liverpool and Man City top two, followed by the usual Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs/Man U.

Astonvilla is indeed doing impressive job with barkley loan from chelsea it looks like the game so live in the middle along with grealish connection.
I predict aston villa will go down soon but wont be in relegation battle anymore , mid table like 7th or 8th is far more than better for them if they look back at the last season.

You just said what I had in mind to say. Like everyone else, I'm impressed with Aston Villa's current season performance after the lacklustre performance last season. They even embarrassed my team with our biggest defeat since klopp took the reigns at Liverpool, so yeah. They've been good so far.  However, this isn't the first time an underdog have performed this good in the first set of matches. Let's see till the mid-season if they'd keep up with their consistent performance. Until then, my money is still on the big boys despite terrible performances so far from Liverpool (especially) and Manchester city. I don't even want to mention Chelsea.
