This game is going in a surprising way, Arsenal likely going to defeat Manchester City at their home soil, not only that ,but this victory will be a significant one, which will put Arsenal football club on top of the premier league table this very week. This season so far is becoming another super interesting just as what started happening towards the end of last season league, which saw the big teams switch their position in the league table almost each week. Arteta and his men has done incredibly well in this match, which the team is becoming more formidable as the season progresses.

The pressure is still too much on Arsenal and I am beginning to doubt if they can hold this for another 15 minutes. They are almost playing a 6-3-0 strategy, and David Raya is almost on duty every minute. But Mikel Arteta knows the game well and always puts forward his players anytime they have chances, like free or corner kicks. Pep Guardiola is also a master of this game and will keep pushing up until they get a goal. He has sent in John Stones and Jack Grealish to replace Kyle Walker and Savinho to keep forcing the attack. Arsenal players deserve to be celebrated if they can hold this lead till full-time. Almost everybody around me doesn't want Manchester City to win this match because they need a new champion in the EPL.

Going defensive is what any right coach will do at this time since they are now play with a one man short in the game, it really calls for a reshuffling so now in the second half Saka  and Calafiori has been substituted to bring in Ben White and Kiwior.

Arsenal has really been unlucky this season with the red cards which for that Brighton game denied them a three point they were already in sitting on with a 1 goal nil lead before Declan Rice was sent off, and today against Manchester City same fate is almost befallen them when they're are already leading with 2:1 score. Well here's another surprise in the Premier League this week, when almost everyone predicted Manchester City would win but in fact not, they had to fight in the second half. If we check the match statistics home teams are clearly dominating and as you said they should take their chances against 10 players, so far Manchester City has fired 18 shots but all can be overcome by Arsenal. This is enough to prove that Arsenal really has a strong and solid defense even a team like Manchester City needs more effort to score.

It was not easy for Manchester City to beat Arsenal, even if Manchester City completely controlled the second half of the match. Arsenal defended well and they really closed the defensive area tightly, of course this made it difficult for Manchester City to score goals. But I think Manchester City will find the goals and avoid home defeat in this match, but they will really have to fight to overcome Arsenal's super strong defence.

Westham should be blamed for the way their players played against Chelsea. Their press and man marking looked very incoherent in that game. Their backline was very open, and they had zero protection from their midfield. Their high line defense gave them more of a disadvantage.

Although they looked decent in possession. They had some moments that could be converted into goals, but they missed it all. They looked outclassed and played without a clue the whole game against Chelsea.

In the end, they looked dreadful in this game. It may take a whole season to recover their performance.

I thought Manchester City would win the Match because their pressure at the first half was much but I also know that Arsenal would not allow Man City to win them. And now Arsenal is leading the game and I strongly believe that they will defend this goal till the end of the match. And that how a reputable team supposed play. And not open the defence area for the opponent to penetrate and scored goals. Man would have protected the goal but couldn't. And right now Arsenal all the way.

This game has been full of twists and turns. Arsenal are living up to expectations. I thought the players would be fatigued from playing in the champions league on Thursday. Manchester City didn’t look too pleased with the equalizer, the players raced to the ref to complain about the quick free kick. But there was no case in the referee’s opinion. This game was going so well for Arsenal until the last minute of the first half.

Trossard picking a red card has shifted the dynamics of the game  to Manchester City favor. Arsenal that I know do not know how to play with a one man down. Against Brighton, they had the game under control until Declan Rice picked a second yellow card. I think Arteta is going to play defensively and try to counter.

Impressive first half I must say.i wasn't even expecting more than 2 goals in the game, but i was wrong. City dominating arsenal as usual, but arsenal seems to be defensively composed, and choose to take the view chances they had. I think arsenal are not at the etihad stadium to play a fair game. All that matters for them is all 3 points. But now that trosaard has received a red card, I think the momentum or vibe of the game has been killed.  Arsenal might want to defend their win for the entire 45mins, but that will be a risk knowing the kind of opponent they are against.

What a perfect time for Calafiori to score his debut goal. And Gabriel never cease to amaze me. Let's just enjoy the second half and see how things unfolds at the final whistle.

Indeed the game wasn't below expectations it was very terrifying though the both teams played very well, Manchester City had good possession than that of Arsenal while Arsenal maximize utilizing goals opportunities, it is not over until it is over it is just the end of the First half quarter of the game Manchester City 1 and Arsenal 2 with one man down so sad for Arsenal as this Will definitely affect their performance in the second half of the game it is not always easy for any team playing 10 against 11 let alone that it is Manchester City that is playing against Arsenal, the game might not really end well for Arsenal . However, if only they could hold on to a draw game that will be better than Lossing against Manchester City even it is Manchester City ground. Am so scared that Arsenal might not survive this.

Kicking the ball away is now a serious offence in the premier league, so players should be more careful not to be kicking the ball away out of anger. Some referees sees that as a disrespect against their judgement. Trossard’s anger that lead to kicking the ball away has now caused his team to be one player down. The game is already intensed and interesting to watch. Haaland’s first goal was beautifully equalised by Califiori which was a very impressive way to score his first goal for Arsenal. The second half will be a bit different, one man down for Arsenal, can they really be able to keep up with the remaining men left in the field? Manchester City will definitely take advantage of this, I hope Arsenal are able to protect their lead and win in this game despite playing one man down.

This absolutely brilliant performance from the Gunners at Etihad stadium in the north London derby.  It's been a really amazing day for Gunners, watching two defenders recording a goal on the scoresheet is definitely an winning ticket for the away team. Mikel Arteta have built the confidence of the team and we know the exceptional odds for Arsenal particularly against Manchester City. The referee, Michael Oliver have just issued out a second yellow card to Leandro Trossard. This ruined everything for Arsenal, everyone complained and shown frown faces, watched Mikel Arteta closely, he's not happy with the new development, he will put in more defensive tactics in the second half.

A very tight match and full of ambition for each other, Man City attacked relentlessly to catch up. Trossard red card was a big loss for Arsenal, even though they took the lead for a while it would still be quite a hassle to play with 10 players. A lot of drama was quite hot on the pitch, Man City locked up the Arsenal defence and still couldn't equalise. Haaland did not move much because he was tightly guarded and could not score again. Arsenal defence is really solid and only relies on counterattacks. Now Arteta must think about rotating the vacant positions.

The second half will be even more interesting if Man City manage to equalise or vice versa if Arsenal are able to survive with a superior score then Arteta is considered to have successfully thwarted Man City.

I was expecting action like this from this game as Haaland give lead to his team, but we have impressive response from the Arsenal as their two defenders give good advantage to their team and at the end of the first half we have 1–2 for the Arsenal but near the end of first half we have huge setback for the Arsenal as their striker Trossard had red card, and now they have to play second half with 10 men which is going to be huge advantage for Manchester City.

Most chances we will have more action and more goals in second half with my prediction for this match was it's going to end 2–2 is also going to be wrong because now I am expecting 2 or 3 goals from the Manchester City with this advantage but how Arsenal will give response it's also important.

It was a very exciting match and as I expected the match would be played at a high tension. Man City took the initiative to play offensively from the start of the match, and conversely, Arsenal tended to play defensive football. With these conditions, Man City dominated the match and they got the goal first through a fast attack but, Arsenal were able to equalize after taking advantage of Man City's carelessness.

Arsenal looked confident enough to play more offensively in the final 10 minutes of the first half, and because of their efforts, Arsenal managed to get a corner kick which was successfully converted into their second goal. But it was quite unfortunate that they had to get a red card just before the first half ended.

Trossard red card might affect Arsenal's performance in the second half because City attack will mount pressure Arsenal defense and that will definitely make City score more goals.

Arsenal have been too rough in this match which led to Rodri been macked out of the game. I will say that the referee has being lenient in this match so giving the red card is a good thing.

However, before the red card Arsenal was able to come from one goal down to take the lead which I never expected. I don't think there's hope for Arsenal to draw this match because City has a good advantage over them.

Arsenal defenders are the main heart of the team right now, they have been saving the team from defeat since the beginning of the season. We have seen how Gabriel save Arsenal from a draw last week against Tottenham, and we have seen how Arsenal defense and the goalkeeper were able to hold on in their Champions League game against Atalanta earlier this week, this has given me some confidence that we will not lose this match because our defenders are reliable and they can lead the team to victory.

2-1 victory for Arsenal in the first half is a fair result, the injury to Rodrygo has made Manchester City’s midfield a bit open even though Arsenal were able to get confidence after Califfior’s equalizer and Arsenal keep mounting pressure until the end of the first half.

The card was unfair and it will definitely affect the end result of the match.
Premier League referees are not consistent, they don’t work to their rules most times they only cheat others for some teams. Joremi Dokku did the same thing Trossard did, but it was overlooked, no card was given. And as a big referee that will want to keep match well, this should also be overlooked because the players have yellow card.
Nevertheless, I am not expecting Arsenal to win the match, but I don’t think they can lose the match because I trust Arsenal defense.

A very exciting match between Manchester City and Arsenal and the final score of the first half was Arsenal leading 1-2 over the home team Manchester City. But unfortunately in the final minutes of the first half Trossard committed a foul on Bernardo Silva and this was a big loss for Arsenal in the second half, and I am sure Manchester City's defeat in the first half will be used with 10 Arsenal players to turn things around or continue to attack in order to score goals and win the match.

By the way, R. Calafiori's long-range shot from Arsenal was very cool.
