Today's latest pre-season match result for the Man City vs Celtic match is 3-4. Man City lost in that match, but because it was only a pre-season match, I can understand this result. This is the same as the defeat experienced by several strong teams from the Premier League in this pre-season match. It's just that De Bruyne doesn't seem in the pre-season match. But I see Pep Guardiola giving opportunities to several young Man City players such as Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, Jadel Katongo and several other players. And that was their debut in the Man City senior team. And even though Man City lost that match, it seems like Pep Guardiola was quite satisfied with the performance of the young players in that match. And it seems that victory is not the target of this match.
With this loss, will people say that City is weak and needs to improve their performance, then that person does not know what he is talking about because this ore season matches are just to motivate the players for them to partake in a match before the season starts.

If it was United that lost their match, people will start criticizing him that he does not have the ability to win the match so what will we say in City defeat. All these matches are not what should be used to judge a club strength.

Eric Ten Hag have tried his best to have one those two trophies during his time as the coach of the team so far. Every team needs trophy and it was because of the FA Cup that he won that made him to have a contract extension with the club. Without that, he would have been kicked out by now. I don’t see his bragging as something bad but he should try and win the major trophies too so that when he brags next time, no one dares to question him and would be scared to look him in the eye to question his speech. FA Cup and Carabao Cup are also worthy trophies to take, if it was that easy, those other teams that are major contenders in the league title should also try and win them as ETH did. Let him brag, he deserves to brag to feel himself on what he has achieved so far for the club.
Ten Hag, the man is okay, a kind man, good with the players, I find. But gaining a few domestic cups? That is old Trafford child crap. We are discussing the most prestigious club on Earth! They should be vying for everything with all the money they have spent, not content to accept leftovers. See the rivals. city, Arsenal, even Liverpool under a fresh management. Each of them is defining the benchmark. And Ten Hag also? He lags behind. Klopp's gone now; Slot's in; Ten Hag has pressure to perform. Thats it: if he cant even beat Liverpool next season, he is out. There are no more excuses. There are the players, the tools, the supporters, etc. Ten Hag needs to stand up or step out now. If he cant, well, thats just dumb. And dumb doesnt win at Manchester United.

Maybe 1-2 years he can still stay at Man City. Last season De Bruyne rested a lot due to a hamstring injury. This made Man City a little bad and made a lot of small mistakes and lost 3 points. But in his debut after injury, De Bruyne appeared to be the team's savior. De Bruyne was also still able to perform well. But indeed, at the age of 33, De Bruyne is no longer a long-term investment. I think Man City should start looking for a replacement.

Looking for an alternative to Kevin De Bruyne should be the main focus of Manchester City if they’re still going to keep him for the next season. He has done tremendously well all the years he has spent with them in Manchester City and also made them triumph many times and also win the first champions league trophy with them. He might be of age now, but they can still utilize him for the next season as Pep Guardiola hasn’t gotten a replacement for him yet and if he leaves, Manchester City will really see the effect next season.

The two are clearly at different levels, if Guardiola managed Manchester United which contains current players, perhaps the statistics achieved would be very different compared to Ten Hag. Ten Hag still needs experience and how to manage a team with the right strategy. Guardiola has been very successful with Manchester City, while Ten Hag has not yet fully tested his abilities.

Ten Hag have only spent two years with Manchester United and have won two trophies in this first two seasons, I don’t think he has done that bad as a coach since joining Manchester United. Maybe we should also look at how far Pep Guardiola has gone with Manchester City in his first two seasons before we can rate Ten Hag success as not too good. He has more time with the team, I think he’ll do well going forward as the head coach of Manchester United than he has done now.

Both of them are great managers. Ten hag is more experienced than Arteta. He’s been in the game for many years now. Arteta took over Arsenal in 2020 and he’s been doing a good job with the boys for years now. Ten hag did well in his first year tbh. He wasn’t really lucky with injuries during his second term. I think he’s been pretty decent too. He’s gotten the club the Fa cup and the Carabao cup in two seasons now. It shows he can do more if well backed.

Arteta also deserves some credit. We can see progression curve and it’s obvious that the management trust him to continue. Honestly, I think this is the first time I’m seeing Arsenal contesting for the EPL title for two consecutive years. They’re reinforcing and improving the squad every year and the project has been decent so far. If they maintain that momentum, they’ll win something this season.
I would say that Arteta is far better, I guarantee you that if you give the teams to each other, like ETH for Arsenal and United to Arteta, and for the past 2 years you just try again, I guarantee you that United would have done better and Arsenal would have done worse.

Arteta brought the team to second place twice in a row, and while you may think that United is worse than Arsenal, half of that is because they have a bad manager. I get that people may not feel like that's the case, and I respect that, and I can't say much about it, but at the end of the day, it's just the truth and there is nothing we can do about it, it's just how it is. I believe that Arteta is far greater, not even close, never liked ETH at all because he looks like someone who is not only a bad manager, but from what he has said on media days and interviews shows that he is probably not a good person neither.

This is why I think it's important to figure out how to be a good person if you want to be a manager, that's what managing means, you need to manage the players, being head coach gives you responsibilities beyond just formation and strategy, you need to do a lot more and ETH has never mastered those kind of skills.

Pre-season matches are mostly trials to test new players for the senior team, if they play well then it will be Pep Guardiola's consideration to call them up to the senior team, otherwise they won't make the first squad.
But as this match was fun to watch because it produced 7 goals in this match even though Man City lost, Pep Guardiola will not mind it maybe it is testing a new strategy.

It seems that the current pre-season matches are not much in favor of the big teams, previously Liverpool and Manchester United experienced defeats against their opponents, but if we look at the squads that Liverpool and Manchester United fielded they were actually better than the opposing teams squads, both teams actually fielded most of the main players but instead they suffered a painful defeat from a team that was not well known at all, Manchester City fielded the majority of their young squad and reserves in that match but it looked like they were still able to dominate the match, but a defeat is still a defeat and I think Guardiola should still try evaluate their squad play after the defeat.

In a few days there will be a friendly match that is worth watching, namely Manchester United vs Arsenal, even though the match is only a friendly match, but both teams will definitely maintain their prestige by fielding many of their main players in the match later.

Normally, preseason matches are always played in order to know the strength of some players and to test them with big players in the team. The quality of play those young players exhibited has made him to be able to quantify the players to know how well they can do in big games when the season begins.

If preseason games will be use to judge most of this teams then the big teams that are losing to them won’t be able to do anything when the season starts. Pep Guardiola is a great coach and a very tactical one for that matter, so I don’t think this result can be use to quantify him at all for the next season. Manchester City are still major league contender in the premier league and the champions league, this result is nothing to compare to what their performance will be next season.

Man City must prepare a replacement for De Bruyne. But before actually finding a suitable replacement, De Bruyne must be retained in this squad. Because I don't think it's easy to find a player who can replace De Bruyne's role at Man City. The neat performance shown by De Bruyne after his injury also deserves the highest appreciation. Because usually a player will not be able to play well immediately after being injured. Because usually it will require some adjustments to return to best performance. But what we saw from De Bruyne was that he immediately returned to performing well and he even immediately contributed greatly by making good assists and even scoring a goal at that time. So I think in 1 or even 3 more seasons, Man City will have to keep it.

City must be able to take experience from several teams that lost one of their key players and they must prepare to look for other players from now on. As you said, there is a possibility that De Bruyne will play another 1 or 2 seasons but the club management has to start looking for new players. PSG lost Mbappe who did not sign a new contract and currently they are really having difficulty finding another striker who can replace Mbappe. On the other hand, Real Madrid lost Kroos who retired this season but fortunately they still have other players of almost the same level such as Camavinga or Arda Guler.

This is a friendly match and might also be an evaluation material for Erik Ten Hag to set a more precise strategy for this season. Sancho's return is a breath of fresh air because he is a quality player who can provide additional strength to the team. On the one hand, this victory will make the players more enthusiastic in the next friendly match.
There are several young players who are given the opportunity to show their best qualities in friendly matches and this is Erik Ten Hag's strategy to find young talent that he is ready to bring to play in the first team this season.
This season, Manchester United is certainly targeting tickets to the Champions League because last season they failed to do so. Manchester United doesn't have a really good striker yet and I hope Erik can get it done in the transfer market.
The match between Manchester United football team and Rangers football team was excellent and we saw good match because
Manchester United team played good match and did two goals. The players of Manchester United team were looking in good form and they  did two goals and after that they defended very well . Defence is main part of game and no team can win without defence and Rangers team  tried to attack but Manchester United team stopped every kick and they Man United team won the match easily by 2-0 . That is good performance and Man United team is in full confidence after winning this match. They will be more confident for next match because when  you win the match ,you feel motivated and you will be more prepared for next challenge.

At the start of the 2024 summer tour, Man City chose an opponent that was considered easy to defeat Celtic, but things did not go as easily as Man City thought. Coach Pep Guardiola's team with the appearance of many young players failed. They only had the 4 most experienced players starting in the Man City squad in the first half: Ortega, Grealish, Phillips, and Haaland. In terms of results, the 3-4 loss to Celtic was a disappointment for "The Citizens" fans.
However, coach Pep Guardiola did not have many complaints after the match, which shows that Pep Guardiola received many positive things from this match. Especially the two young players Oscar Bobb and Rico Lewis left a good impression. Perhaps Coach Pep Guardiola's goal is to find recruits among young players.

Now let’s face the facts of the matter. Do I hate ETH? No. Do I think he’s been one of the best managers in last two years? No I do not. Did ETH insinuate that he has the best side other than Manchester City? Yes! He may not have compared himself to Pep Guardiola par say but he did insinuate that he’s done better than the other managers in the EPL in the last two years.  I understand how some Manchester United fans might be triggered by this post but it is what it is. Btw now that I know you’re a United fan. I can troll you when your team loses a game next season.

Cry over what? Your misinformation? And do you think I give two flying piss about your misinformation and trolls? You don't posses and has what it takes to troll crap. What are you really? A male possing as a female?  Triggered by what really? I understand the hate for Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag.

Yes, Manchester United has spent crazy fees for players, bit he has won two trophies in his first two seasons which your club Arsenal hasn't done yet. These trophies are good results, they would buy any manager tike as much as the management is cool with what the future has for them.

Chelsea are interested in Philip Jorgensen, they made the first offer to Villarreal, the preliminary amount is 20 million. Maresca would like to see this goalkeeper in Chelsea, Jorgensen is also interested in this transfer. With the arrival of Maresca, Chelsea are very active in the transfer market, perhaps we will see a different Chelsea again.

Fabrizio Romano

But Chelsea had a good season with Petrovic last season, yes? I wonder what's cooking with Enzo Marasca. My advice to Chelsea fans would be not to set their hopes high because, they'll obviously be disappointed. I want to see how quickly he gets his first eleven ahead of a new season.
The defenders of Chelsea are not consistent, they're my biggest concern ahead of the new season honestly.

That's the result you alwsys get when you put too much in your effort to help the team win the league. Just observed players that alwsys win the Premier League and the Champions League together or Champions League and any other domestic league, it's always difficult to perform very wholeheartedly the following season because of the injuries and that's exactly what happen to Kevin De Bruyne but was able to win Premier League the following year.

Kevin De Bruyne may have say a lot of comments regarding his move to other clubs but this are just for media opinion, if he want to leave Manchester City I'm sure he is going to be doing that already and doesn't have to come to the public to say what he feels like about their league and the amount a player can make from playing in Saudi Arabia.

Kevin De Bryune is not leaving Manchester City. It’s been confirmed by Pep Guardiola that KDB is still very much part of the club’s plans in the future and the 33 year old will not be leaving for Saudi Arabia next season. The age factor is probably why the news of KDB moving to the Saudi league is circulating around the internet.

After all, De Bruyne still has a contract for one more season at Manchester City and of course, it would be better for Manchester City to keep De Bruyne until his contract ends and that would look more professional. But indeed, considering De Bruyne age and experience of serious injuries, of course De Bruyne probably won't be able to always play the full 90 minutes. But despite this, of  course De Bruyne is still able to make a good contribution to every Manchester City match.

But yes, somehow I feel like De Bruyne will end his career at Manchester City. Because after all, it seems like De Bruyne is not a player who has the ambition to continue pursuing an achievement like Ronaldo, who continues to play with a specific target or goal. But yes, the most important thing is that De Bruyne remains at Manchester City which of course is good news too.

After seeing Kevin De Bruyne's contribution last season, I don't think Man City will let this player go even though he is no longer as young as the other players at the club. But I think Kevin De Bruyne will still be needed by Man City in the next few seasons. And maybe Man City now just has to start discussing a contract extension with Kevin De Bruyne. and I would be surprised if Man City does not extend this player's contract this season. Because this would be the same as Man City being ready to let Kevin De Bruyne leave next season. And even without clarity from the club, this will also shake De Bruyne's desire to stay here or leave if a high offer comes.

Somehow I am not surprised that Liverpool and Manchester City have not been active in this transfer window while the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have been active in the market and are making moves. Obviously we can see that  they finished 8 and 6 respectively on the league table. You've to work on it and improve alot of things by strengthening those positions that lack quality. But how many improvements does a team that finished 2nd and 1st in 2 consecutive seasons need? I think maybe just a minor few tweaks here and there to elevate the already high level and become elite. Honestly, If Manchester City and Arsenal don't sign any player, I will still be confident that they’ll in top 2.

The players they have have different qualities, it is clear that Manchester City has advantages in everything. Pep Guardiola is very smart in building a strong squad with great players that he recruited. I have never seen Pep Guardiola having difficulty rotating because they also have layered players. two who are no less good, while Erik Ten Hag does not have as great an ability as Pep Guardiola in terms of transfers, that is why Manchester United is unstable regarding their performance, so comparing these two coaches is really unreasonable, obviously they are at different levels. Pep Guardiola has many achievements in several elite clubs while Erik Ten Hag does not.
Pep Guardiola is a genius, he is able to bring out all the abilities that exist in players when they are under his management. The players that Manchester City has not only have different qualities, but they understand each other, which makes Manchester City performance very difficult for other clubs to match. Eric Ten Hag is still far behind Guardiola in polishing players, he has several quality players in the Manchester United squad but is still having difficulty competing in the top four.

It cannot be denied that Arteta is much better than Ten Hag, in making processes for the teams they manage. It is clear that Arsenal's progress is much better than Manchester United's and even for the Man United team there has been no progress in a better direction since Ten Hag's arrival. , the team's performance is unstable despite their success in winning the FA title last season.

For next season, there is still a possibility that Arsenal will still be better than Manchester United, as happened last season, although Ten Hag's team still has the possibility of being able to recover, but I don't think it can surpass Arsenal.
Arsenal are also going through difficult times, and I'm pretty sure you couldn't say anything good about Arteta and his organizational abilities back when Arsenal were bottom of the table. Ten Hag has very good experience at Ajax, he has proven that he can create a very good team, I see that he is trying to do the same thing at Manchester United, if he succeeds, then they will talk about him in the same way as about Arteta, what he has good ability to create young and competitive teams.
If you compare Ten Hag's situation with Mikel Arteta's. The two used to have many similarities but now they are so different. Arteta and Ten Hag are walking on the same path. M.U's team achieved stability faster, but progress and improving the level again could not make the team glorious. Arteta took longer than Ten Hag to rebuild the squad, but thanks to that time, stability was built up and gradually became more solid. Arsenal's performance under Arteta has never declined as significantly as Ten Hag's MU.
After three transfer periods, Arteta spent just over 82 million pounds. Meanwhile, under Ten Hag, MU spent more than 380 million pounds. Sadly, nothing changes as they buy more "redundant" players than they sell. With that factor alone, we can see how different these two coaches are. Arsenal has competed for the championship for two consecutive seasons, finishing second. As for MU, it is just a disappointment when struggling to compete for the top 4. Even last season they only ranked 8th on the rankings.
Arsenal may win the Premier League this season while MU may struggle to compete for a top 4 position. That reason is enough for us to know who is the better coach.

Comparing Erik Ten Hag with Pep Guardiola is currently very unrealistic, even in the next 4-5 seasons Erik Ten Hag will not necessarily be able to match Pep Guardiola in terms of quality, achievements and track record. I know Erik Ten Hag is trying to be optimistic, but apart from that he also needs to see the extent of his struggle in the EPL with the extent to which Pep Guardiola has provided success. It could be said that Erik Ten Hag is just starting out so comparing him now is not quite right. Wouldn't it be better to have more achievements than the babbling that Erik Ten Hag needs to do? Just bragging is not enough to admit that he is better than Pep Guardiola.
Well, let's be honest, the class of City players now significantly exceeds the level of players in Manchester United, ten Hag chose enother path, he attracts young players, and tries to make champions out of them, this is a longer path, but I admit that he also has a chance to achieve his goal. Guardiola immediately built a team of the best players, the best strikers, the best defenders, and these were already experienced players who could achieve their goals without long adapting. These coaches have different approaches, and perhaps different opportunities for transfers.
