I didn't have time to watch this London derby match, but Arsenal managed to return to winning ways while maintaining competition with Manchester City. Referring to the data I have, it seems that Spurs dominated the match. Likewise with the opportunities that both teams had, Spurs had more total shots. Fortunately, David Raya played very well, he made five saves. Luckily, in the end Arsenal was able to break through Spurs' goal through Magallhaes' header which became the only goal in this match. In this match, Jorginho's statistics were not so good, but it seems that Arteta didn't have many options to replace him. Most importantly, Arsenal was able to get points in this match. Meanwhile, the home team, Spurs, again reaped bad results that were previously silenced when visiting Newcastle's headquarters. Clearly, this defeat is homework for Ange Postecoglou to correct his team. Well, I'm glad my two favorite teams achieved full this week.
Therefore, Arsenal again got an additional 3 points to catch up with Manchester City at the top of the standings. Manchester City leads 2 points higher than Arsenal, so it is certainly not a safe position for Pep Guardiola's troops. Arsenal could take advantage of Manchester City's mistakes in the next match, but Arsenal also have to be careful because they also have the potential to lose points in future matches.
