Southampton are not ready for the premier league imo. They had the game under control in the first 30minutes but they failed to take the lead and then Manchester United took advantage few minutes after as De ligt converted from a cross to give Manchester United the lead. United were able to get three goals at the back of the net to seal all three points. Good game for the red devils. Let’s see if they can build on from this result going forward to get more positive results.
I would say that Southampton's defense is too weak for the Premier League, and Manchester United were obliged to beat such an opponent. I would like to mention De Ligt, he played his second match for Manchester United much better, he moved a lot and tried to show himself in every possible way. I can't remember who said this to me here but i can remember it was on this same thread, this dude told me that in every week in the premier League there is always a team that will surprise us with their disappointing result and I guess he was very right with that statement because Liverpool just proved him right. I'm not a fan but I would have love them to make their 3 points even though I know that Liverpool usually get messed up at the end of the season I still wanted to see them win this assumed weak club.
