Yeah that's true that Manchester city has the league under their grip but it would be something else if we do compare them to the like of Real Madrid when in the champions league and besides the champions league would be filled with lots of other teams that would be leveling up like Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen too if am not mistaken 😁😁
Having the premier league u DER their grip isn't something I think Manchester city actually really does, because they have been able tow in the league title back to back for a good number of time isn't enough to think they have gotten the full colony of the premier league, I agree that they have been a really excellent team so far in the premier league but we can't still say they now have so much grip over the premier league as there are other top teams that makes it not a very easy one for Manchester city to be able to enjoy dominance that much.

Winning the premier league all these years have been by only a few points a d not by really huge possessive points that will really feel like they are the only subordinate to all others in the league. I believe that if teams like Arsenal or Liverpool and possibly Manchester united or Chelsea gets back in their solid form firm enough, the chances for city at the trophy will become very small that thay may not be able to win the trophy , even the one they just won is with a slight point difference that is less than five, so I still believe the premier league hasn't been totally dominated by Manchester city to the point they will be saying they have got all the grip over the league as at this time.
Well until the teams you mentioned actually get back to their old ways and step up their game, I think am gonna go with jaycoinz on this because it's really something else for Manchester city to have achieved what many clubs couldn't do even at their prime in the premier league, I mean that's definitely a way to say they are firmly rooted on their course to actually be number one in the league.

Manchester United is one that I am paying attention to now, because up to now they have not been able to give the best in their performances, in fact they look like they are continuing to decline if we look at the end of this season in the English Premier League. They are one of the big teams in the English League or even in Europe, they have experienced glory in the past but now that glory is far away from them.
Since Ten Hag take the managerial job of Manchester United, their Premier League performance is not improving, they are not the Manchester United we use to know that are always in the title chase, they managed to qualify to the Europa League through their victory in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
I must commend Ten Hag’s effort for trying his best to win two trophies for United in his first two seasons, but he have to do more because FA Cup is not their main target, they are looking for ways to win the Champions League and other major trio including the EPL.

Quote
Next season is the season where Erik Ten Hag's fate will be at stake, because the decline in this season means many people don't believe in Erik Ten Hag now. However, Manchester United management still gives him the confidence to stay with Manchester United next season.
He must be able to prove to himself that Manchester United was not wrong in making a decision. However, if he still applies the same pattern as before, then I am pessimistic that he will be able to make Manchester United even better.
If the United management gives him money to sign more players, then he can do better next season, but if he continues with this current squad, I don’t think he can make it to the Champions League again another coming season since finishing top four in the Premuer League next season will be hard for them.

It seems to me that the management of Manchester United are focused on building a strong team in the long term, but the problem with this idea lies in the coach who, in my opinion, is not managing to build a good team despite having a lot of budget, see that Aston Villa who is financially lower when compared to Manchester United, they managed to perform better than Manchester United last season, but even so, Manchester United's management don't see that the most important part of a team is the coach, if they could get a good coach, then they could constantly fight for the champions league place and the title and they could also fight to win the European champions league. I see Aston Villa and Tottenham and Newcastle and Arsenal and Manchester City competing for the 4 places in the European Champions League next season and Manchester City will be champions again

Here we go again, Another football fan thinking that Manchester united problem is the manager. Let’s analyze it, Manchester united since Ferguson left have been changing coaches after every two to three seasons, they have had at least 4 managers in the past and yet nothing was to show for it, except Mourinho who had actually won something tangible. Now it Erik Ten Hag they seek to make it a long term even if the manager isn’t living up to expectations at the moment. He has actually won two trophies even with the crisis behind him. If we go by your analogy that coaches needs to be sacked when things are rough then the likes of Arteta and Klopp are wouldn’t have lasted longer than they are doing or did. Take a look at clubs like Chelsea that sack coaches all the time, haven’t got anything tangible to show for it.

As for the spending, it is not all clubs that has high revenue that can buy just any players any how, there are regulations like the FIFA regulations that governs them not to over Spend. With Manchester United they have spend a lot on average players so they need to have a change of strategy and team of the scouting department to see how to get done properly

Seriously, Manchester City are killing it. They have the league's deepest bench, Pep's tactics are amazing, and they're relentless. They really don't have a competition for the title this year
~
How about the Champions League? It's entirely between City and Real Madrid. Hell of a battle, but I'm betting on Real. They're just super great

The deepest bench thanks to the most brazen financial scams  Grin I think that even without Pepp, but with the ability to carry out any transfers, City would dominate, this is the root of their success. While Arsenal sold their best players to develop, City bought whoever they wanted. I don't see anything worth respecting in this.
As for the Champions League, City is no better than Liverpool or Chelsea, so you shouldn’t put them on the same level as Real.

Although Ipswich Town can play aggressively but still, Liverpool is the top team in the Premier League. So, playing against Ipswich Town, which is basically a promotion team, will certainly be a great chance for Arne Slot to be able to make Liverpool have or get a victory on his first matchday for next season. After all, Arne Slot also has a good foundation as a manager, so if only playing against Ipswich Town I don't think it will be a big obstacle for Arne Slot to be able to make Liverpool get good results. Therefore, victory on paper I think will be a reality for these teams, and I also will not doubt their quality next season.

Ipswich Town will want to start the season with a full effort so they can be recognized. But even with that, I don't have hope for them against Liverpool. Liverpool is still a strong team in Premier League competition, so this team is just being promoted, as you said, and even though they will like to perform aggressively, I don't think they can beat Liverpool because Liverpool are also strong and far better than them. Arne Slot will do everything to make this possible for Liverpool, although I can't underrate Ipswich Town because I don't really know much about them until I see them perform next season. Maybe they will do more than I am thinking.

If Pep Guardiola really leaves Manchester City, I think Manchester City will definitely experience changes, but these changes will either be positive or negative. because according to the news I read a few weeks ago, when Pep Guardiola left, Haaland would also leave Manchester City and of course that would cause Manchester City to experience a decline in performance. but if on the other hand, Pep Guardiola would stay at Manchester City, I think Manchester City would be able to dominate again.

who knows what will happen but what is certain is that no coach will last forever, so like it or not, be ready or not be ready. Manchester City must be able to accept reality and deal with the problems that occur in order to remain consistent with their performance even though there are opportunities that might make them experience decreased performance.
Sooner or later, Pep Guardiola will also leave Manchester City, regardless of whether by retiring or becoming the coach of another team. In the last few seasons, there have been many rumors circulating that Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City and get a new project as national team coach. I don't know if that would be the best challenge for him, but winning a title at national team level is a good one for him to consider.

Pep Guardiola has proven himself to be one of the best coaches in Europe. He won many domestic titles and also other prestigious titles such as the Champions League, which is a great achievement for him. If he leaves, of course Manchester City will change greatly and will no longer dominate the Premier League as has happened so far.

While we wait for the EPL to officially kick off on the 17 of August. This is my bet for the season and what would come out if it.

1. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are teams likely to win the EPL title

2. Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton are teams that may likely go for relegation.

3. UEFA qualifiers should be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Arsenal and Manchester City I can agree, but the name Liverpool? No! They have a new coach who has no experience of the Premier League Competition. I double doubt he will be able to get a cup next season. This is my prediction and most likely and closest to win it this time would be Arsenal.

No, where is Brentford?  How about Nothingham Forest? I even see Everton struggling next season. Leicester City has experience in the Premier League Competition, I'm very certain they'll thrive. It all depends on the manager that comes in right now. A poor coach comes in and they'll struggle.

Ipswich has got a sound coach who is also young. They will not be relegated.

The top four is too difficult for me right now, I can make such conclusions. There's Aston Villa and also Chelsea thriving, we don't know what will happen. But it's best of we keep an open mind.

Of all these, I hope that Liverpool can have a very good line-up and that the players remain , because everything that Klopp did was a great job. The truth is that it is a shame that Klopp is no longer here, because really many of us liked this team just to see Klopp and the Egyptian to see what he could do with Luis Diaz, it was really exciting, but now it is a new cycle , and the level they have has to be maintained and increased, so that they can be Champions , but so far I see City very Strong with Pep , for me it is the most Complete team in the Entire PL.

In the end, Pep Guardiola will definitely leave Man City and will coach another club and it is the same as Jurgen Klopp who left Liverpool in the midst of their improving performance like last season. Why are you so sure that when Pep Guardiola leaves, Haaland will automatically leave too because as far as I know every player has a release clause with a contract agreement so that before his contract ends it will be difficult to leave the team. Unless there is a club willing to pay the release clause at a fantastic price.

Every change of coach will definitely have an impact on the club and usually tends to be negative where the club will experience some bad performances before the new coach is able to adapt to the players. The English league competition is so tight that there will be a lot of competition that will emerge so that the new coach will have a little difficulty adapting quickly.

In every football match we can see interesting and exciting game. And the teams you have predicted and it's still a long time before it starts but these teams might steal the win from the opposition. It has to be accepted though that as of now some teams have changed and therefore the matches will be a bit tougher and more interesting. However, we can easily confirm that Liverpool will win, and we can predict that Manchester United will also win. But Chelsea's win here against Manchester City will be very difficult, we can definitely doubt it. And we can confirm that in today's match, however, Manchester City will win against Chelsea, because Chelsea's position is not very good.
Predicting these teams to win isn't just enough because even with the fact that we a re very aware of their ability a d know how much they can be able to achieve with their strength in these fixtures, we still have to know that keeping an open mind to the outcomes remains the best especially as we are yet to perfectly assertain  their strengths fully at this point, we can get some level of certainties about the strength of teams at a point in the season, probably when they have gone halfway the season already than we can say at some point with every surety they can be able to win some fixtures with little to almost no doubts.

Liverpool and Manchester united looks like they are at advantage in the two fixtures and this is going by the previously known strength and form of their opponents, the current form and strength of their opponents isn't such that I can say we know for sure at the moment, so it's okay to think Manchester united and Liverpool will easily win their games but Chelsea may have issues with theirs, it's aswell okay to see that at the end of the day, the both teams didn't produce the results expected of them and Chelsea too could pull up a surprise, in football there are many possibilities which you cannot at some point foresee until they are made reality, then you will have a chance to see how possible it could occur in the future.

If Chelsea had kept Pochentino, I believe that next season Chelsea would have gotten a place in the European Champions League, but with this change of coach, I see Chelsea returning to the bottom of the rock they were in before Pochentino became Chelsea's coach. . As for Manchester United, honestly I don't expect great things from Manchester United mainly because the management decided to keep the current coach for the long term and when I read this news today:

“We will now need 2/3 summer transfer windows to fix things”, says Sir Jim Ratcliffe

“Everybody in the world knows of Manchester because of Man United. We can say Manchester United is like Coca-Cola, isn’t it? Everybody knows it... it’s a fact”.

“There’s room for an improvement everywhere we look here at Man United and so we will improve everything”.

“We want to be where Real Madrid is today, but it will take time. It will take two or three summer windows to get to a better place”, Ratcliffe has told @bloomberg.

“The net spend of Man United since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill is almost £1.1billion”.

“Real Madrid’s is £200m and they have 6 or 7 players valued at over £100m… while Man United have none”.

“And Real Madrid have also made the new Bernabéu”.

This will be a big test for Ipswich Town because they have to face Liverpool in their first match after promotion to the top league in England. But what is interesting in the English league is that the bottom, promotion and top teams will play much more aggressively so that the matches are much more interesting. Arne Slot will give his best so as not to be embarrassed by Ipswich Town and a first match like this will be very important for the new coach.

If we look at the quality of the players, Liverpool will easily get three points in this match, but we also need to look at Arne Slot's ability in this match. Most likely it will not be easy for him to get full points because he needs adaptation in combining the previous players and Ipswich Town will definitely take advantage of these conditions to at least draw.
Difficult opponent team for Premier League team promotion Ipswich Town not only at the first match but also on second match, Ipswich Town will face Liverpool on the Premier League opening match and second match facing Manchester City. Usually top premier league team still not consistent their performance and Ipswich Town has opportunity getting one or three points against Liverpool with their new manager and need time for adapting new tactician.

Facing the difficult opponent team early actually has benefit for Ipswich Town will get easily opponent team on next match, but all premier league team are difficult team and Ipswich Town must improving better performance than EFL Championship. Don't follow the premier league team promotion in this season because three teams promote have return back to EFL Championship.

Pep Guardiola have won all trophies with Manchester City from FA Cup, Premier League until UEFA Champion League and back to back winning Premier League season 2020/21 until this season 2023/24.
Pep Guardiola had announced possibility leaving his position for next season after his contract expiring and I think he must take challenge with other competition after success achievement by winning five Premier League trophies with Manchester City and giving other premier league team opportunity become the winner.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta have did well in last two season keep pressure Manchester City for winning premier league, although failure by finish on 2nd place position standings its not really bad because Arsenal has consistency performance in last two season finish at 2nd position place. Arteta have decision become Arsenal manager and I doubt one day later has possibility for him replacing Pep Guardiola become head coach of Manchester City.
That is the thing, everyone kept talking about how it was "money" that made them good, a lot of social media people basically mocked him as well, but looking back now, he spent much less than many teams that did worse, he doesn't spend nearly as much as those teams, and sold a few players and made profit too.

I think now people are talking about how premier league is becoming a "farmers" league as well to diminish his accomplishments, but the reality is that we are talking about Manchester City, they are the ones that made it possible for it to be like this. That is why I believe that we are seeing him doing something that is doing amazing and that should be the most important thing that we could talk about.

Ipswich Town is just a promoted team that will likely be relegated again at the end of the season. There is a very large gap between the depth of the Ipswich Town squad and a top Premier League team like Liverpool, in fact the overall market value of Ipswich Town players is much lower than the market value of Alexis Mac Allister. Based on this, I think Ipswich Town is not a tough opponent for the top Premier League teams, but Ipswich Town's success in getting promoted to the Premier League is worthy of appreciation.

Ipswich Town will probably try to do well throughout next season even though they are very underrated. Of course it's natural because on paper Ipswich Town is not a quality team like many other teams. Even if in the end Ipswich Town have to be relegated, then that is a natural thing for them. What they need to do is fight.

Football as we all know is a game that's full of surprises and that's we can not say never until the final result of a game is confirmed. However, I'm the opinion that Ipswich Town wasn't lucky enough to avoid the kind of difficult game they'll play as their first English Premier League game of next season after their promotion to the English top flight. Liverpool who now has a new manager that'll begin his first season with the Merseyside club is undoubtedly the favorites to win the game and since it'll be Arne Slot's first English Premier League game as a Liverpool manager, I expect nothing but a Liverpool side at their best.
There is a strong doubt among English club football supporters of Arne Slot will be able to achieve success in his first season as a Liverpool manager and though I'm also of the opinion that it'll be very difficult for the Dutchman to kick the ground in his first season at the club, I also think we shouldn't totally write him off. The next season is six weeks away from kickoff and I just can't wait for it

Pep Guardiola has kept a good record in Manchester City, and even though he has left the club as a coach, he has achieved what he is looking for. If Guardiola leaves the club next season, I don't think Manchester City will get a better coach like Guardiola anymore. If not, they will get Xabi Alonso, and I don't think Xabi Alonso for Bayern Levenkusen will like to coach Manchester City, but it is possible that Pep will change his mind and renew his contract with Manchester City again if the club still in love with him after is contract expired next season.and guarduola will like to get the league for the third time and I believe with Pep he can still do it because he is very talented and knows how to deal with many clubs in the competition, let see how he will perform next season and see how many titles they can win next time since real madrid stopped them last season without winning the champions league and I am sure he will be hard for them next time because madrid has got mbappe and even walker can't even catch him when moving.

I am only saying from my own thoughts and based on what have happened to other clubs in the past if City fails to get coach that is up to the club standard, that will be their downfall. Manchester City will not stay strong for long as it is gojng to affect the performance of the club with time and some players will leave the club when things are not working out as expected anymore.

Maybe that is when City will face big challenges. It is football and when you don't have the best all the time, you will not be able to withstand the best clubs in any competition, and the club performance will not be consistent.

Your prediction is great per se thou I have different opinion on some of your picks. As for the title contender, I would have predicted the same teams as you just mentioned but Arsenal have the higher chance. For the past two seasons now including the just concluded season, Arsenal had every opportunity to win the league but the couldn't due to some mistakes. I believe Arterta has learnt enough lessons for the past seasons and he's expected to make correction this coming season. If the same thing should happen again, then they are just average team as we normally assume.

Leicester city was once a great team in the English premier league but all of a sudden, it has become their norm to relagate this season and promote the next season. However, I don't see them repeating that process this coming season judging from their performance in the championship thou towards the end of the season their performance depreciated. Their position on the table might be at buttom thou but relagating back to championship again will be a shame to them and their management.
