We all know the future about Guardiola in Manchester City is still uncertain especially when he has a plan that he would thinking possibility to leave after his contract expired because Guardiola says he almost be win everything in Manchester City then it's time for him to find new challenge and if this really happend and Guardiola really leave i think it's interesting to talking about who is the next manager of Manchester City after him and some people were considers Mikel Arteta is the right manager to replace his position in Manchester City

Why some people considers like that because they feel Arteta has done well in Arsenal and in the last 2 season Arsenal progress is very rapid although he still can't get the Premier League trophy for Arsenal but Arteta can change Arsenal became an strong contender for Manchester City for race title so people says probably Arteta will be suitable as the replacement of Guardiola later moreover Arteta is the former of assistant manager of Guardiola in Manchester City and his way of training is very Guardiola like

This is the opening match of the 24/25 EPL season which will be held in August and although it is still a long time away, we can already see some exciting matches. Maybe the only match that should not be missed is Chelsea against Manchester City, but other matches such as Leicester against Spurs are also worth paying attention to.

I still remember how Spurs started last season by leading the EPL standings and this time it doesn't look like it will be easy because Leicester, who have just been promoted again this season, will show their fangs. Apart from that, the rematch between Chelsea and Manchester City that still sticks in my mind is when the two of them drew 4-4 in November last year and that was one of the most exciting matches I have ever seen in the EPL. So this is still quite balanced, especially since all teams are aiming for the same full points.

What do you think, do you have other favorite matches?
There are some matches that I definitely really want to watch. Namely the match between

  • Manchester United VS Fulham
  • Chelsea VS Manchester City
  • Liverpool VS Ipswich Town

The point is, I can't wait to see the development of these teams. Especially with Chelsea and Liverpool having just changed coaches, this certainly makes me very curious. That's why I won't miss the match between Liverpool VS Chelsea. So why do I really want to watch the match between Manchester United VS Fulham, the reason must be the same, namely curiosity. Because I really want to know what steps Ten Hag will take at Manchester United next season. Because as we know, Manchester United is not performing well this season, so many parties are asking Manchester United management to fire Ten Hag. However, it turns out that Ten Hag is still trusted to coach Manchester United next season. So I want to know if it was the right decision to keep Ten Hag at Manchester United.

And Tottenham's match against Leicester will definitely be a match that is quite eagerly awaited. The reason is that Leicester is of course a strong team that won the Premier League several seasons ago and Tottenham is also a team that is always in the fight for a place in the top flight of the Premier League. So it's not wrong that Tottenham's match against Leicester will be very exciting to watch. Because of course we don't know what kind of performance Leicester currently has.

While we wait for the EPL to officially kick off on the 17 of August. This is my bet for the season and what would come out if it.

1. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are teams likely to win the EPL title

2. Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton are teams that may likely go for relegation.

3. UEFA qualifiers should be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Your pick is very good but it depends on how this team performs, I believe that Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal will try their best to win the league this season, any of them will be the one to win the Premier League title because the three teams are very good, about the relegation zone I believe those teams are going the the relegation because their performances is not good that can even lead them to escape the relegation zone. The number 3 in which you stated that the UEFA qualifiers should be Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United I don’t think one team should be included there because the club will still face another challenge this season.

I’m talking about Manchester United, Manchester United will not qualify for the UEFA League because they are not even ready to compete in the league, Manchester United has a coach with poor experience and also players with poor performances and we are expecting them to play and qualify for the UEFA competition? I don’t think that will be possible, Erik Ten Hag is not the type of coach who likes winning big trophies, he only wants to win small trophies like the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and that is also what Manchester United's president wants and they want to extend his contract, as far as Erik ten hag remain Manchester United coach the team performance will not improve.

Since Mikel Arteta became Arsenal coach, many changes have occurred and the progress of the team's performance has continued in a positive direction in the last 2 seasons, even though they did not win the title, their performance continues to improve, so it is also possible that this will continue to happen next season.
I also think the same, if as long as Mikel Arteta is Arsenal coach it will be possible for them to continue to do their best and continue to try to win the title.
And what you also have to remember is that winning the Premier League is not an easy thing, this is the most competitive competition so everything takes time and is a long process and Mikel Arteta is going through that.
Yes, since Mikel Arteta coached the Arsenal club, it has made very positive progress, especially in the last 2 seasons, Arsenal has been able to challenge Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title, even though Arsenal has not won the title, at least it is right below Manchester City and has been ranked runner up in 2 seasons lastly. Arsenal still has the chance to win the Premier League title next season if the club and coach continue to work together to improve their performance and don't give up even though they have failed in the last 2 seasons, they can correct their mistakes again and continue to show their best.

Winning the Premier League title is not easy. Coaches also need time to improve their club's performance and also need performance stability so that the club can perform consistently and clubs that compete in the Premier League are sometimes difficult to predict because each club has abilities that are sometimes difficult to predict. guess so because of this competitive competition Arsenal are having difficulty winning the Premier League title but they will try again next season. Hopefully Arsenal can break Manchester City's record. I'm quite bored seeing Manchester City continue to win the Premier League title, don't let the English league look like a farmers' league.

Mainoo is so innocent and pure. I won't exaggerate, MU spent a lot of money and brought in a series of famous stars to finish 8th on the Premier League rankings. MU was eliminated from the Champions League group stage and the fourth round of the League Cup. Ten Hag led Man Utd in 114 matches, including 34 losses, 17 draws, and 66 wins, with a win rate of 57.89%. This number is not too different from the team's two most recent official coaches, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (54.17%) and Jose Mourinho (58.33%). But anyway, he will have more time to build and lead MU towards success. Let's wait and see if Ten Hag is a good coach or just trying to pretend he is good.

Mainoo is still quite young and he has good abilities when playing so he has enough potential next season to be a strength for Manchester United.
Erik Ten Hak has only been at Old Trafford for two seasons and he still has a long way to go if he wants to provide something better for the club. There are no instant coaches in the Premier League and their failure last season was inseparable from the many players who suffered injuries which affected the form of play.

Failing to qualify for the Champions League will give them the opportunity to focus on the English league and the coach must take advantage of this.
The arrival of several needed players is quite helpful for the team and will strengthen Manchester United's ranks even more solidly.

I agree with you, those three teams will still going to be among the top of the season next premier league competition to embrace the title, because they are still in good form to display to make their fans happy through out the season. If you watch the match of Leicester City and Southampton last season, you will no that relegation zone is not going to be far from them next season, because their managements are not ready to sign in new potential players to boost the team next season. Champions league competition, I think Chelsea and Manchester united will going to try to be among the top in that competition but it will be difficult for them to win the title, because Real Madrid will not allow such thing to happen next season base on some kind players they are using next season.

It is your right to make an own prediction but I think it is not the right time to predict now. You may consider the chance of those teams based on the squad quality, unfortunately it doesn't always happen as predicted when the season starts. Aston Villa was one of the example, no one predicted that this team could finish in the UCL zone before the season 2023-2024 started. In fact, Aston Villa could beat Tottenham, Chelsea, Man United, and Newcastle last season.

Source: google

Regarding Liverpool, honestly I'm not really sure with this team because Klopp has left the club. The new coach seems not really promising enough because he never won a prestige trophy in the top leagues in Europe. Arne Slot is only a local coach in Dutch football domestic competition. In his career, he only managed local teams such as Feyenoord, AZ Alkmaar, and SC Cambuur. So far, he just won 2 trophies, Dutch champion and Cup winner. He never won UCL trophy, UEL trophy, or top league trophies in Europe. So, I think only Man City and Arsenal which can compete for the title.

Arne Slot cannot be called a very experienced coach. But if he is hardworking then I believe he will be able to do well with Liverpool. Liverpool have an experienced squad. At the same time Liverpool management is rich enough. This is why Arne Slot will get enough funds from Liverpool management to purchase players. But he will be able to make the team stronger.

Liverpool played quite well last season. However, their defense was a bit weak. Liverpool conceded 41 goals in 38 matches. And this is why they gradually fell behind. Arne Slott will certainly have to try to strengthen Liverpool's defense first and foremost. But at the same time the match strategy should be changed. Then maybe Liverpool will be stronger next season.

It is too early to start making such a prediction. But since it is called prediction, there is nothing wrong about it. You tried in your prediction but in my opinion I would say that you should remove Leicester City from the clubs that will be relegated. Those guys have go to the experience of English Premier League, in fact they have been the champions of the English Premier League in recent time so they will not return to relegation is easily.

I will also want you to remove Liverpool from the clubs that will contest to win the English Premier League. Their quality has been dropping in the recent time and for the fact that they have a new coach makes it more uncertain.

Finally, it could be advisable to include Aston Villa in the clubs that will contest for the title this season. I believe the ability of Aston Villa more than that of Chelsea.
Yes, maybe it's too early but there's no harm in making temporary predictions because choosing experienced clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and even Chelsea, that's fine because these clubs still have a big chance of winning the Premier League title even though Liverpool and Chelsea are experiencing a bit there is a problem with changing coaches, but these two clubs still have players who can be relied on and experience is always an important role for clubs to win trophies at the end of the season.
I also support you if you exclude Leicester City from being a relegation candidate because this club has shown great consistency in always being able to survive in the Premier League even though it doesn't have top players, but the Leicester City coach is able to keep this club always away from the red zone.

Comparing Aston Villa and Chelsea, Aston Villa actually only got lucky when the top clubs experienced a busy schedule in the Champions League and were able to take advantage of the situation well so they could finish in 4th position, whereas since several seasons ago Aston Villa has not had the experience to win the PL title. .

Talking about who will be relegated, it is actually very clear that Ipswich Town will be the strongest candidate to be relegated after Southampton and I will prioritize these two clubs as the weakest clubs in the coming season.

Really? I thought a lot of the players actually had problems with the coach. Well, those players who actually had problems with the coach have already left Manchester United or are not in Manchester United right now, lol Cheesy. Because they are on loan and playing for another club. Some players have directly said that they are not going to ever come back to Manchester United or something along those lines. It is actually a little surprising to see a Manchester United player saying the exact opposite. Good for Manchester United and the coach of Manchester United I guess. After being thrashed so badly by almost the whole world and also the media, this is actually good to hear, lol.

Don't forget the time when they didn't have Ten Hag in the team Manchester United had many problems and they didn't have a good station in the Premier League at all but Ten Hag helped them to get improve and have better performance. However, he was not successful enough compared to many other teams but I think Ten Hag is a good coach for Manchester United and he was just not lucky enough to have a better place in the league.

Well, Ten Hag has guided Kobbie Mainoo to the first team, to a place in England's Euro 2024 squad after just one season and he feels grateful to his teacher. Mainoo feels satisfied to be able to continue accompanying coach Ten Hag at MU.

Arsenal level of competition is very high, and they are really trying their possibilities to see that they get a trophy, but unfortunately they are always failing to do that at the end of the season. Although to me, getting more players is not compulsory like for other teams because Arsenal's squad is full of strength and everything is complete, I think they just need to change their pattern of play and some other things because even weak points I did not see from them, but their main problem is winning a title, which they need to win seriously.

So since all they need now is to win a title, they need to come back with a new pattern of play so that they can be able to concur with Manchester City's dominance. It is only Manchester City's performance that always holds them back from winning the title.
If Arteta has tried the same players for two good season and they make a similar mistake, he should never give them a chance to repeat those mistakes again and the players that cost them such losses should be dispose off, if there is offer in the table and it's going to be beneficial to the club, they better sell them, there is going to be more good offers and young once for replacement for the sold players so they can come back next season to give all their best this time for the time.

I am also thinking that Manchester City are winning not just because of Guardiola pattern, it's because of the current squad he has right now. Remember Arteta work with him for years before he start solo playing for Arsenal, he would know better how to handle pattern with Guardiola but the squad is what I think are going to giving him advantage over other teams. Didn't you see even Liverpool almost bag the trophy but they also made the same mistakes Arsenal made and theres was during the end of the season.
You don't expect Mikel Arteta to totally overhaul the Arsenal team by selling off all the

I agree with you. I think Chelsea's opening Premier League match against Manchester City is the most interesting. City are a strong team but I think everyone wants to see how Chelsea do with their new coach. The next interesting match is Liverpool vs Ipswich. Even though it will be an easy win for Liverpool but I wonder if Arne Slot can make Liverpool the same as the Klopp era. There is nothing interesting in other matches. I think the favorite teams will be able to complete their respective tasks.

Chelsea opening game is what many Chelsea fans have frowned against, they don’t want to meet Manchester City first because they’re scared of incuring a big loss to them. This is to the fans, but I don’t think the players will feel the same way or neither will their new coach be. It is just the beginning and father season, and they’ll be trying their new tactics out to see how it will go well for them. It could be in their favor and may not be in their favor if it doesn’t work out as planned. Manchester City are still with their old coach, and we have seen what they can do with the team in the field. Since Chelsea is a team to be led by a new coach, we are expecting to see something different kind of approach in their game.
On paper, the match between Chelsea and City is fairly easy to predict, where Pep Guardiola fleet is very worthy of being the favorite to secure full points. Chelsea is a little lucky because they act as hosts, and all fans hope that Enzo Maresca can manage Chelsea better than Pochettino. But I think Enzo Maresca looks like he will immediately experience defeat in his first match with Chelsea.

Luckily Enzo Maresca had plenty of time to prepare the team, and played several friendly matches before the Premier League started. But what is clear is that the former Leicester manager needs time to adapt to his official matches, hopefully this adaptation period will run quickly, so that Chelsea can perform well next season.

On the other hand, Pep Guardiola certainly won't be too bothered about preparing his fleet when entering the new season, where not many changes will occur in his squad. The Chelsea versus City match was one of the most interesting in the opening week, I think the Leicester versus Tottenham match was also interesting. But the match is still very long time, currently all the teams are busy in the transfer window.

It's too early to predict now, the league hasn't started yet and things won't be exactly as they say. I still agree when you call Arsenal and Manchester City the favorites for the title, but Liverpool and Chelsea are two teams that have just got new managers and it is likely that it will still be difficult to get the best place in their first season.

Tottenham, Aston Villa and Manchester United appeared more convincing in terms of opportunities. But what is certain is that I will never underestimate Liverpool and Chelsea even though they will start the season with their new coaches. Squad depth and good strategy will have a positive impact on the team's play, this will help their plans for next season.
Liverpool was changing the coach and i think they still required time to adapt with Arne Slot even personally Arne Slot trying to be realistic that with his debut season in Liverpool he didn't dare to promising anything to Liverpool fans because he know Premier League as the most competitive league in Europa so it's not easy to managed team in this league so for next season although i hope Liverpool can able to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal for race title but i think it's too early to called them the strong contender for these teams

I was interested want to see the performance of Manchester United for next season because seem Ten Hag will do a major changes for this team and if they don't have another injury storm i think their performance will be much better and they can being an strong candidates for Champion League zone but besides Manchester United i want to see Aston Villa too and looking forward to see their performance later whether they still be able to maintain their consistency next season or not especially Aston Villa having a busy schedule because they have to playing at champion league

I don’t know what will happen to City (after all, the investigation is putting pressure on them), but Liverpool with a new coach is far from certain that it will be invincible.
As for relegation, the current quotes are as follows:

Leicester City - 1.44

Ipswich Town - 1.83

Everton - 2.20

Southampton- 2.50

Nottingham Forest - 2.75

No wonder - newcomers are always the main favorites to not stay in the Premier League. It surprises me that Everton are the next favorites to leave the Premier League after them, I don’t follow them closely and I don’t think I’ve heard that their problems have gotten that much worse.
Well it is not surprising because seeing the conditions for promoted clubs sometimes they will definitely be a little inconvenient when they are in a competition that is different than before, especially for now Ipswich Town, of course we are aware that this is a new name for the EPL because it has been a long time since they were in the highest competition so it is very natural to make conditions that are indeed very favorite to be in the club that is most likely to be relegated. It's just that for Everton I'm quite difficult to know what the bookie thinks in this case.

Indeed, for last season's standings we must be aware that Everton are not that good but when looking at the reduction of points and their mentality to stay in the EPL I think last season they did very well so seeing them enter one of the clubs that are most likely to be relegated I think it could be a difficult thing because I still feel that Dyche will be more capable than this season when talking about the achievements they will get.

When we're talking about favorite games, Enzo Maresca and Pep Guardiola comes in the picture because they're both good coaches that knows specifically how to handled elite team. Chelsea vs Manchester City is the favorite game to watch because it’s an important fixture.

Your picks are great and if they will be any changes in them, it will only be a little and most of the teams will only be at the position you’ve mentioned them to be. Where I see a strong unlike what you mentioned to happen will be those teams that will be going for relegation. It may differ in the end but maybe one of the three teams you’ve mentioned will fall in that category. I don’t think a team like Leicester City will go for relegation again just after their return from it. I feel they have what it takes to remain in the premier league after a complete season with them in the next season. Ipswich Town and Southampton, at least one of them will fall amongst the team to go for relegation but not Leicester City have you’ve said.
Leicester lost Maresca, I think this is a very significant factor, yes they can sign a contract with Potter, and it will be a good replacement, but I admit that the team with Potter will change. I try to avoid making forecasts before the start of the season, at least for the first few rounds to understand how ready the team is for playing in the Premier League. And I’m also not sure about Liverpool, for the same reason, Klopp left the team and Slot took his place, it takes time to understand how well he can manage such a team.

Whether a match is interesting or not doesn't just depend on who is playing. I know people are more interested in big matches between strong teams like Manchester City and Chelsea, but matches between mid-table teams can also be more interesting because they have almost the same squad depth. Of course it's true that many people are curious about what the new Chelsea manager will do in the opening match against reigning champions Manchester City, but it feels like the final result is easy to predict.

The Manchester United vs Fulham match also needs to be watched out for. Fulham is a good team where they managed to end the season in 13th place last season. I never said that mid-table team matches weren't interesting, some of the matches were even better than big matches.
Well, sometimes matches between ordinary teams are no less interesting. It is even more difficult to predict matches between ordinary clubs. Because sometimes their performance can go up and down quickly. As a result, the level of consistency is not as good as the big teams. But yeah, their matches are always no less interesting. Especially if we are betting on the match.  Wink

But to be honest, I am also sometimes more interested in matches that pit strong teams against teams that were initially considered weak but have become teams that turn out to be quite strong. Some dramatic results sometimes make me happy with the results even though sometimes I lose my bets.
