At the end of the day it's not a matter of how much star players you have but how well the coach can use them, stars or not. You'd agree with me that in the past one year, Nuno espirito Santo has turned the club into the type that can compete for champions league next season and you can imagine that at the moment they are sitting in the second place on the table, 5 points away from Liverpool.
Nottingham Forest were able to beat the club that Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City couldn't beat and this is the fifth time that Matt Sels is keeping a clean sheet and if you ask me, I'd say it was well deserved for them. I just hope that Nottingham's current performance won't be a temporary one but something that will continue so they can put more pressure on the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and even Chelsea.

Everton did great things, had a draw with Chelsea and lost to Nottingham Forest, and now Nottingham Forest are at the second position. The amazing performances of Nottingham Forest are similar to Girona in La Liga last season. This season is very beautiful for Nottingham Forest but they have to try so much to complete the season in top four. They have to prepare for a next season too as we see a considerable fall of Girona in this season.

Who would believe at the start of the season that Nottingham Forest might finish the year in the second position of the league table? I strongly doubt that there's anyone with such prediction and that I think goes a long way to explain how unbelievable they've been this season. It's surely one of their best performance in the first half of a season and if they can repeat it in the second half of the season, then they'll surely finish the current English Premier League campaign in the top four.

Last season Nottingham Forest was almost relegated but the current season changed very significantly and even almost continued to compete for Champions League qualification tickets.
Yeah Nottingham Forest don't have any popular players but they have Wood who continues to aggressively score goals and now has 11 goals so far, this is an important player.
Likewise, their defense can be said to be very solid, now it just needs to be consistent.

Manchester City done good job and secure win in last game of 2024 which is good sign for them with this win hopefully players feel comfortable, and their confidence level will be also increase things were challenging as Leicester City were doing good counter-attacks after conceding first goal, but today we have Manchester City defense in better shape and Eric Halland also end his goal drought which increase his tally of goals in this season as well now we have next game on 4th January against West Ham which is surely also going to be give them good result and another chance of having fight back after this long slump.

A win is a win irrespective of how well, Man City played to win having created chances and utilized those chances which resulted to scoring two goals at least some pressure off Pep Guardiola after a disastrous and disappointing results so far in both league and UCLl consequently resulted to streak of losses, prior to this match some soccer analyst and pundits never gave them any chances of winning against Leceister City today judging by their past and previous abysmal performance against all odds Man City won with hard fought win to end 2024, hopefully they can continue where they stopped in 2025.
