Arsenal played well but it was far from their best as they couldn't produce more goals, maybe it's because of Saka’s absence which made them not to be effective in the final third. Arsenal won but it was far from convincing.

The fact that Manchester City have been on a losing streak doesn't mean they'll continue to lose their upcoming games. Before you forget, Pep Guardiola is the manager of Manchester City and we all know what he's capable of doing. In his seasons as a manager, Pep Guardiola's team haven't finished anywhere less than the 2nd position. I don't think anyone is saying that Manchester City will not win any of their upcoming games but then we need to consider their chances of winning their next games and their current performance after doing that you will realize that they may end up getting more bad results because most of the teams has already noticed their weaknesses and they will easily defeat them if they play against them.

Very funny, this isn't suppose to be what you say those of us who bet are not aware of. You can't really tell how City will be like come next year, things can turn around for good for the Citizens and it will shock many who think Pep will finish outside the top 4. I still have that believe that the way we're seeing the EPL table is not how it will be in the 3rd week of January 2025, some of the clubs who are ahead of City will drop but is not a guarantee that City will win the league, no not this time, next year we're going to see one of the clubs in the top 4 suffer as City are suffering.

Absolutely true. Both clubs are not in good shape and are not in any position better than the other to me. I see what I see in Manchester City in Manchester United too because of their mistakes and inconsistency this season. But like you rightly mentioned, what have differentiated both clubs from each other is that Manchester City used to be in good standing and have shown strong attacking and defensive stride only for them to suddenly decline and like I will put it 'fall of the cliff'. I cannot imagine a club that's envisioned to retain their championship as defending champions, who started off well in this season, falling down the table ranking yet they couldn't help the situation with the manager that seemed to be extremely and reliable to the club.
