i read something about 50 million Euro for two years plus bonuses. the information was reported by a german sports magazine.

Can someone post a list with the most highest-paid managers in the Premier League? Is Mourinho on the top?  Cool

i think he is maybe ewen top paying manager in the world, or is Guardiolla
think that those two are the best
if guardiolla sign contract again this year i guess yes he will be get the highest salary. bayern has offer £ 17 m a year

Guardiola will not be signing the contract again. I think he is bored with the league, bayern is very superior there. If he wants to have a good moment as a coach, he should move to premier league
i think he will sign contract again with bayern, because only bayern possible to beat barcelona or real madrid

Can someone post a list with the most highest-paid managers in the Premier League? Is Mourinho on the top?  Cool
1. Jose Mourinho, Chelsea, £ 8,37M
2. Louis van Gaal, Manchester United, £ 7 M
3. Arsene Wenger, Arsenal, £ 6,89 M
4. Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City, £ 3,47 M

yeah mourinho have the highest salary, attractive Pelegerini only has half the income of mourinho

Pellegrini has only handle city for short amount of time and if he can keep proving to bring city to become champion then his pay will keep on raising especially if he could get city the champions league

You can not say this in common because the contacts has optional bonuses which got paid when managers achieve a particular goal. So, it is really hard to say who gain at most.

Your list is outdated when you take a look at my previous posted link
http://www.cityam.com/226217/jurgen-klopps-liverpool-contract-makes-him-the-third-highest-paid-manager-in-the-world

Jurgen Klopp seems to be the third most paid manager.

sadly but true
everything you can buy if you have money but he has is plenty and wont hesitate to spend bringing good coach if needs
we are at the modern football and anything can be happen here and the rich teams can buy players or coaches whatever they want or whatever they need i remember few years ago Man City still a weak team but since Sheikh Mansour taken over the club Man City already changed be a very strong team in the EPL
i heard rumor guardiola will be manchester city next year, i dont know this news true or not

City is doing great with  Pelegrini, there is many plots about Guordiola next season. One issure if Bayern will win CL Gurdiola maybe  will stay ,if not Guariola must goes away

Bild is sure that liverpool has enough money to buy Lewandowski and bring back Klopp Lewandowski duo
pure plot

Kevin De Bruyne is compeletely overvalued in my opinion. He has good scenes but he is not worth the money he gets.

yes i know and that is my point money can buy anything this days
in modern football paying more then 100M per some good player i must say that is to much

The market prices, transfer fees and the players income is just insane. I mean look what wage the top PL players have.

Top earners ( estimated weekly income before tax)
Wayne Rooney - A$565,000 (£260k)

Sergio Aguero - A$521,000 (£240k)

Yaya Toure - A$521,000 (£240k)

Eden Hazard - A$478,000, (£220k)

David Silva - A$434,000 (£200k)

Mesut Özil - A$412,000 (£190k)

Raheem Sterling - A$391,000 (£180k)

Cesc Fabregas - A$369,000 (£170k)

Kevin de Bruyne - A$369,000 (£170k)

John Terry - A$347,000 (£160k)

There has to be a limit otherwise this won't much more to do with sports in near future. Maybe some US model might help here.
What do you think about kind of salary cap?

Why Chelsea is at one of the last place in the camphionship? What's happen? Chelsea has one of the best team manager of the world (Mourinho) and a great team. I don't follow the Premier League, so, what's happen?

I also don't understand what happened to Chelsea in one season. Less than one year ago, they were the Champions. Now Chelsea keeps losing. Something must have gone wrong in the dressing room for the players to lose their form.

yes I was also surprised with performance Chelsea, they are dropped this season. maybe they lost a few players or indeed there may be an internal problem in the team chelsea
nobody thought in this season Chelsea really have bad performance and very weak even though with many star players in this team

I would back a potential salary cap being implemented. Chelsea & Man City are ruining football. They were nothing before their crook owners came & bought them.

Butthurt because liverpool cant afford to pay player this huge to pay good? There is no need a salary cap, as long as the club can afford it then it is fair to have that salary

I don't agree with that. It is just like in other careers. When you are very good at something you need to be rewarded accordingly. Soccer players are only paid until 30-35 years. After that they must live from the money they made until then or find a job, start a business etc.
Also there is a lot of work put in to get to that salaries. Thousands of hours spent on training, working out, tactics and others.

The money is coming from the club's money not from people so I can't see how the salaries are disturbing you...

i agree
Most all of the club in PL (other than Spain league)working with positive balance, and why do not pay for good players? they bring them profits from tickets, souvenirs, t-shirts..
