Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal
Less people care about the FA Cup these days but Arsenal into the next round. It’s a good chance for them to win a cup as they’re not able to win the league or CL right now.

It should be expected that Arsenal would win this game.
I hope that this win is going to be a starter for Arsenal in order to move this winning streak to the Premier League as well.

What do you think about Man. Utd, then?
I think they need some winning much more than Arsenal.
I was so obsessed with the situation of Man Utd that last night I saw my dream Solskjær said he wanted to return to playing football.  Grin

That is a nice dream. However Manchester United needs more real world improvement rather than dreaming to get better. They are playing well in the FA cup at least against teams of lower divisions.Arsenal sees the FA cup as an opportunity to win something this year so they have focused there as their main objective this year.

At least Manchester United lifted the trophy this season is not a problem although the FA Cup also, the improvement of Manchester United was corrected again because in terms of appearance there are still shortcomings whatever the manager must be able to overcome it.
Next season might be a target for EPL.

EFL Cup

Aston Villa vs Leicester tonight with a 1-1 aggregate and now they are playing in the second leg, who will qualify for the next round and now play at Aston Villa.

I believe Leicester will be able to face all this Aston Villa might be easily challenged by Leicester because this competition in the semi-finals certainly will not waste this trophy, James Vadry might be very relied upon.

Well this is the best news I have read all day, just hope it comes to pass because he'll truly a liability to the club when considering the amount of money we spent in buying him. Assuming I was in Lampard shoes, I'll get a replacement keeper before I even think about buying a new striker. Just hope Kepa will leave when they show him the door and not act as the second manager like he did towards Sarri during the cup finals against Manchester city back in 2019 lol.

Update on Chelsea vs Leicester game: It seems Jamie vardy is fit to play in todays game (League Cup semi-final second leg against Aston Villa) that means he'll be available in the Chelsea game which is another boost for Leicester.

Inconsistent player performance makes them look bad among the other teams at EPL. Ranking 10th in the standings is a very bad achievement for a big team like Arsenal. They are a team that is projected to compete with the top 4 teams in the EPL and at least they can maintain their presence at UCL every season.

But the reality is not that, what is wrong with Arsenal and are they comfortable enough with this situation?

Arsenal's condition is still unstable, maybe they still haven't found their identity, in terms of players and coaches they are just as consistent, they are still not and not yet solitary, which means that Arsenal must be in a better position at the moment with the 10th position being the same as other low teams.
Far from the possibility that Arsenal will enter UCL next season.

Yeah right, It would seemed that Arsenal young lads provides better results that the old ones  Smiley

Arsenal does have a better chances/route as they are to play Portsmouth next, and If they win they will face Norwich or Tottenham/Southampton, except their inconsistency gets the better of them, they won't face the toughest teams until the Semi finals.
Arsenal usually get wins when no one expects on them but when the expectation on them is high, they often make their fans dissapointed. Arsenal, over the recent years, have never mainitained their performance in official matches sustainably. They win and lose in between their matches. They've often fallen further behind the other competitors in race to Premier League's trophy past seasons.

The last 2 seasons, they struggled to get a spot in top 4 of the league.

Hmm, not a single comment about the FA Cup game tonight: Bournemouth vs Arsenal  Cheesy I'll cheering for the Gunners, i'd like to see all the top teams in the decisive rounds.

I'm also hoping for a clean sheet too but that's unlikely to happen since Leicester aren't shy when it come to scoring goals and our (Chelsea's) defense aren't the best at stopping goals same as the keeper (Kepa).
Bookies seem to think there'll be some goals from both sides too, 'both teams to score' right now is around 3/5 odds.

About Kepa, I read this the other: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/01/24/kepaarrizabalaga-has-four-months-convince-frank-lampard-risk/
So Chelsea are planning to sell him in the summer!  Shocked
Match started and Gunners take lead in 5th minute of match through Saka look like they will go in next round and feel some good after few draws in EPL.

Edit: 26 Minutes and Gunners leading by 2 goals.

I would never change teams, true fans don’t do that.

I agree with this.  Your team needs you the most when they are sucking, and it seems disloyal to abandon them during their tough times.

I started paying attention to American football when I was 9 years old, the year our local team, the San Francisco 49ers were headed to their first championship.  They blessed us with a great run throughout the 80's and into the mid 90's.  Now it's been 25 years since their last championship, and I've never wavered.

When I started paying attention to Premier League soccer a few years ago, I chose the to follow the Gunners.  Not because they were winning at the time (they weren't,) but because I felt a kinship to their early history of arsenal workers in the 1800s.  They are struggling to remain relevant right now, but it's my opinion that's when being a loyal fan means the most.

I want to look forward to next week's match between Leicester v Chelsea because they will continue to dominate adding points to secure their position, especially Chelsea will continue to have ambitions to win against Leicester to add points and catch up.
Manchester City vs Tottenham, I want to know what tactics Mourinho uses when dealing with mancity because we know that mancity is so nimble in his attacks.
Leicester vs Chelsea might ended playing a draw both team are not in form the former managed to win their last EPL last match while the latter managed a draw with a ten men Arsenal, man city vs Tottentam too same result the former managed a lone goal defeat against the latter in their last encounter from my own point of view these runner up teams would allow Liverpool to extend their lead with more points thus edging closer to lifting EPL trophy earlier.

As a former Man Utd fan, seeing Liverpool dominates present football made my ass fell a bit hurt. However, they deserve it, in my opinion. They would dominate at least five years and could dominate longer if they have good youngsters, but it doesn't mean that they will always win the EPL title.

This year surely, they will get the title, but next year every EPL team would be adapted to their playing style. "I sink they would get more fish when they ordered meat." - Mourinho

You should stick with the first team you pick as a young boy. I’m 33 & I’ve never seen us (LFC) win the title. I was too young to follow football the last time LFC won it.

I’ve spent tens of thousands of pounds following my team around the country & Europe. I would never change teams, true fans don’t do that.

I’ve been through the bad times as an LFC fan, rival fans have mocked us for decades with the odd cup win here & there enough to shut them up for maybe a bit.

For me my team is like my gf, if she got fat & ugly I’d still be here with her. You can’t change teams if you are a true fan.

Both chelsea and Leicester city are in a bad form.

I guess the match would be fair with a draw although I really hoping for a cleansheet and 3 points away.
There's 4 big games awaits Chelsea in February.

I'm also hoping for a clean sheet too but that's unlikely to happen since Leicester aren't shy when it come to scoring goals and our (Chelsea's) defense aren't the best at stopping goals same as the keeper (Kepa). You can't bet on him keeping a clean sheets irrespective of the game been played. Concerning the goals, Abraham got injured in the last game but from the news via Lampard last press conference, it seems it wasn't a serious injury since he (Abraham) didn't fracture his ankle. Therefore the chances of him been available for the Leicester game is present.

Without him leading the attack especially in away games, our chances of scoring are minimum. He only finds it difficult to impress the home fans but for the traveling fans in away games, he always put on a show. The match is going to be an interesting one considering both teams are attack minded and can produce goals.

My prediction: Leicester 2 : 3 Chelsea

^  So what club are you a fan of now...?  Cos if you say LFC that's totally unheard of.  Lolol.
I went to my dad's club Grin

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47418295
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/jose-mourinho-next-job-5195894

And that mass walk out isn't because they hate the club (it's the opposite), they couldn't bear see it crumble before their eyes cos of the idiots running it sacrificed the football culture for commercialization.
There is no way a true fan can totally stop supporting a team that he used to support initially,  it's just not possible for that to happen. I really support the decision of the fans to walk out during their next home game match around the 60th minute. Ed Woodward refusal to appoint a sporting director is staggering considering he knows nothing about the sports.
Yeah, I think once you love a club, you will forever love it deep down in your heart. It's like a broken relationship with a troubled girlfriend. You hope that she would change, but in reality, most of them won't.

I'll come back if they really change, LoL.

Against Leicester city
Then
Against Manchester United
Then
Against Tottenham hotspurs
And then the champions league game against Bayern munich.

And guess so far Lampard didn't sign anyone yet! Despite the tough schedule ahead. Sancho would likely become a summer signing.
