Bruno 'The Almighty Portuguese God' Fernandes has arrived  Cool

Congratulations to Manchester United on their newest signing. I believe Fernandes is a great addition to their team as their current squad lacks the needed finishers. The way Man Utd fans has been hyping his arrival, I hope he doesn't turn out to be like pogba when United initially signed him. Now Bruno is around, I think they need to buy 2-3 more players to add support to their forward and midfield departments.

Bruno coming to Manchester United is really cool, I live to watch him play on the English league. But the thing there is that Manchester United at this is riddled with player difficulties, so he might not be able to make much impact that would level up with the hype we have seen so far. Maybe after a match of two, he'll slump. My two cents on that.
Good luck to him tho and welcome to Old Trafford!!!

Is there any official announcement about this transfer? I couldn't get any information just gossips.
If this transfer will be made, it would be great for Man Utd. But I don't think there is any chance for them this season.

Edit: I see now.

"We have enough talent to beat City, we should be in top 3 easily with the amount of talent in this team" and start playing better?
I do not think it translates to that just because they win the reigning champions. Manchester City has lost a couple of matches this season one to the bottom-placed team in the league, Norwich City. This does not mean they have enough talent to be in the top three.
I didn't watch the Manchester derby but closely followed the highlights of the match and from my perspective, Man City dominated the game for the majority of it but was not very clinical in front of goal.

The fact that united even won was really weird, they have been so bad in the past few weeks and now they went up and beat city, sure it wasn't enough and they are still far behind anyone important in the league as well however this could literally be some sort of catharsis for the team maybe? Like they will finally say "we have enough talent to beat City, we should be in top 3 easily with the amount of talent in this team" and start playing better?

I don't know what will happen for Uniteds future but they are all great players and individually one of the best players in the world and when they get together somehow things don't work out that way. City missed a lot of positions as well, hopefully they will recover and have a fight back in the league, its not really nice to watch teams basically give up.

Liverpool should get awarded for being the best team in the world.
They have an amazing winning streak and I don't remember any team in the premier league winning the title since December. They are so ahead and they have already got the title.

Best team in the world? It is exaggerate imho. Just because they have great record on EPL this season, it does not mean that they are the best in the world. I can say they are the best team in EPL in the last decade but I cant agree that they are the best in the world unless they can prove more outside EPL (Champions League).

Who is the best team in the word then? They're certainly better than City right now and I'd say they're even currently playing much better than Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern. Of course it's subjective as to who is the best much like who is the best player and it's certainly up for discussion, but winning the Champions League is usually a good barometer of that, especially if you couple that win a domestic league win which is obviously almost certainly going to happen this season. If they're not the best then I'd say they're in the top 3-5 easy. Let's see how they fair in the Champion's League and if they win that again then there's no doubt in my mind that they'd be the best team in the world.

I’ve been a Liverpool fan my whole life, I’m certainly not bored about being 19 points clear. I’m having the time of my life as an LFC fan. The final in Madrid CL Final was hopefully the start of a glorious era for Klopp here.

Yes, of course, it's very nice to see your beloved team almost certainly become champions this season after a very long wait. I know how that feels because I'm also a Liverpool fan since Sami Hyypia era as the team captain.

But in this case, I would to invite you to see the EPL as a whole, where in the last years EPL has always been identical with fierce competition where the league champions must be determined in the last game.

So, following the 0-2 win over West Ham, we're 19 points clear... and Liverpool have now beaten every team in the top flight league in a single season. First time in the club's 127 year history!

Only 8 more wins (24 points) required from 14 games and the title is ours... #YNWA

Incredible form to be honest, also it may take less than 8 wins for Liverpool to be crowned champions. Take a look at Man City’s remaining fixtures. I don’t think it’s realistic for them to win all their games so Liverpool won’t need 8 wins.

Yes I'm also thought so, I see Manchester City is not very consistent this season.

A difference of 19 points makes EPL boring now, what do you think?

+19 points and it still rocks, what an awesome team.
At the opposite, Man City performance is questionable. They lost today vs ManU 1-0 which was playing with 10 players. Off-side goals, missing stupidly very very easy goals!! They really need to play a little bit more serious if they want to prove something or at least stay in the second place!
Manchester United always surprises us ... when the bookies making them underdogs they proof it wrong by winning  it damn!
I was putting my hope on Manchester United to break the liverpool invincibles but they lost it anyways back in 19 January, now it's up to Manchester city to beat liverpool in two months...

The clash would happened on 4th April at the Etihad stadium.

but I can't agree that they are the best in the world unless they can prove more outside EPL (Champions League).
It's not really possible to prove more than winning the Uefa Champions League title, the Uefa Super Cup and the Club World Cup, all in one year, and if they can win the English Premier League this year (which they likely will with a very high margin while breaking a couple of records) and still remain in contention for the UCL title and possibly win it, then they have a very huge claim to the title of the best team in the world.
Bruno Fernandes seems to be like almost a done deal?
It is. Rumors have it he has arrived at the training ground for his medicals. I get the excitement about his signing, but Manchester United will need to complete other high profile signings if they desire to turn their season around.

I can say they are the best team in EPL in the last decade...
How can they be the best team in the EPL in the last ten years, this is just their first Epl title in over 30 years, they are the best team in the league this season and that just that. The best team in the Epl in the last decade if we're to judge based on trophies as it should be so would either be city or Chelsea, they have both won the Epl three times since 2010, while Manchester United have won it twice since then, though they won it thrice in a row before 2010, this are the best teams in the last decade in the Epl.
De Gea always tries to give his best and he really is a good goalkeeper but for past some weeks defense is not helping him out there in field. Somewhere he does some mistake but overall if we see he is someone who has been crucial all the time.
Goalkeepers have a very difficult job to do, and only very few goalkeepers do their jobs better than David de gea, it's difficult to find a goalkeeper who doesn't make mistakes, there is no such keeper really, and with a tighter defense De gea would even excel more than he's doing right now.
Bruno Fernandes seems to be like almost a done deal?
Yes, it seems so, I hope Manchester United are able to utilize his talent, they have bought many quality players in the last years who have turned out flops.

West Ham United - Liverpool FC ( 0 - 2 )

it was an incredible game, and West Ham was very lucky to lose by 0 - 2 because they could have lost by more goals  Grin

EFL Cup

Manchester City - Manchester United

I followed this game in the first few minutes and decided to take the risk by betting on Manchester united, my idea before the game start was to bet on Manchester city. The great hero of yesterday's game was the Manchester United goalkeeper (D. de Gea)

That wasn't the premier league, it was the league cup which Manchester city still advance with a 3-2 aggregate thereby making it to the finals where they're likely to win against Aston Villa considering pep will mostly likely want to win some domestic trophy while they try to win the champions league (which is an impossible tasks) since city aren't championship material.

The champions league isn't all about dominating possession but having experience plus the zeal to win games and having players at all departments ready to put their careers on the line inorder to win games, which is something Liverpool and other previous winners have. Manchester city in their prime season couldn't even win the championship league therefore the chances of them winning it now is very minimum considering the way they're playing ( lossing easy games).

No doubt Manchester city needs to up their game and start winning games back to back but as for the title, it's already lost to Liverpool. City will be playing tottenham next which they should win (on paper) but lets wait for the results.

Liverpool, this season, will not miss their first champion title after decades. From what the team has played till now, they outperformed the others so they will mostly end this season as champions but I doubt that they will finish the season as unbeatable winner or not. There are odds for them to do that but the season lasts long and there are many things to affect the final ending for Liverpool, referee's decisions, and luckiness as well.

Liverpool plays well as nearly same as Arsenal years ago, and yes it is very very impressive.
