I read that Pogba might be ruled out of the game at the weekend vs Liverpool. I hope it’s true, they’ll be even worse without him Grin

We (LFC) could really do with winning this game, if we do it’ll equal the most consecutive wins in the PL ever which was done by Man City two seasons ago at 18 matches.

Liverpool will beat United comfortably unless Man U really, really raise their game something. Klopp is so superior to Ole tactically that I don’t see United standing a chance.

It will be an interesting game to watch. Manchester United may have disappointing performances in the league now but with a clash like this, It's not advisable to underestimate them still. The same team Everyone is belittling (bookers, punters etc) beat Chelsea 4-0. I'm expecting them to give Klopp's men a run for their money. A win or draw for Liverpool– That's my prediction.

You said my mind it will be quite an interesting game and highly competitive game no doubt about that however with majority of soccer fans and lovers globally ruling out Manchester United based on their performance so far this season could be a game Man Utd will prove critic wrong thus firing with all cylinders to outplay Liverpool I know Liverpool won't find the game as a easy likewise  my prediction is Man utd can narrowly win with a goal to nil or draw scoreline.

Liverpool might be superior to Manchester United but after all those bad results that United has undergo lately, they are going to play hard to get a win.
They are in a bad position and they will try to prove that they are a competitive team in the league.
The only reason that will make them lose the game is the case they want to kick Solskjaer out of the team.

If they are right to do this, I'm sure these players will be blacklisted and other clubs are not interested in recruiting because they are not professional
Each player should prove that they are worthy of the leaderboard.

This could be another scoreless draw again just like one of their fixtures last year (I think it was at Anfield).  It sometimes plays out weird after an international break.  Dunno...  We'll see.
You really think Utd has this kind of mental strength? In their mind they know they are going to face the strongest team in the league who are still unbeaten and they are not having a good season.

I know they are going to play in their own ground but still the chances for Utd to give fight is not much. Come on! They were beaten by Newcastle, West Ham, Crystal Palace and team like Southampton scored against them and drew 1 - 1 with the red card they got. I seriously do not think Utd has this mental strengths to beat Liverpool.
It's hopeless to be honest, Manchester United need a coach that have a skill to bring Man United mental go up again, not like solskjaer, i see this coach never mad to his player or the result of this match, he never show any angry. Also they need to kick woodward from Man United.
Honestly we shouldn't only blame solskjaer for the woes Manchester united is facing presently the players too had contributed to the team lackluster performances this season particularly Paul Pogba who had been disastrous form-wise this season, in case of the coach not showing any anger on his player is not thing for public view but a backroom stuff which might never to be reveal publicly. I expect the Man Utd to spring a surprise when they play Liverpool this weekend.

I understand your point. I'm a Liverpool fan. I know we've been top class and real solid (We're Champions btw)  since the start of the season. But despite that, Underestimating Manchester United shouldn't be allowed. Like I've been saying since the international week break, Liverpool just need to take this game as serious as the Champions league final. If possible, drop a couple of goals early on in the game to mount pressure on Man utd.

Don't forget the same thing you're writing off beat Chelsea 4-0 at the same stadium Liverpool is going to, a week from now. I just hope Klopp makes Winning Man Utd a priority.

Ahh you can't compare that one, it's the first match of the season for both which everybody blinded to predict , actually that game chelsea played very well I'm so satisfied despite the lost, the first goal was a penalty where chelsea controlling the game and united played with defensive counter attack, I see it as a luck for united.

This time it's completely different where statistics say it all,  also so far there's no injury caused by the international break for liverpool and on the other side ... United will play without pogba this weekend.

A very bold situation.

Why OSG must be angry at the players, if it turns out what happened to Man United is the result from His wrong strategy. Woodward only cares about money which is why Paul Ince is angry with Him.

Regardless of how bad the situation around United is, the result of the match depends on what happens on the field. Even if you debate a hundred times about it, nothing can conclude who will win this time. It's a waste of time to do that.

For results we depend on what happens in the field. It's about the prediction of many people, I personally concluded that Liverpool won the match.

Why don't we discuss how United should line-up against Liverpool, or how should Liverpool attack if United park the bus (which is highly likely to happen)? That is more interesting.

The bus parking strategy is unlikely to be done by Manchester United, it's not their game. United play attacking. So no one plays defensively.

That was last year, friend. This year has been very different and there have been many changes. It is very difficult for Manchester United to draw even without a goal.

That's true, Mental Man United is now weak and playing at home is not something that can be relied upon. If the team is in bad condition then their performance will be bad too.
Moral is currently very low at the club and neither the players or the manager together with the technical team has no clue as to how they can turn things around. I was hoping the international break would have given some Liverpool players a few injuries but it didn't seem to work. Manchester United will have to believe in themselves and play with their hearts maybe that's going to be enough.

True Liverpool must be serious in this match and not underestimate United. this could be a very important match for OGS,
did anyone still remember if in last season jose mourinho was fired after losing from liverpool in the antfield.
Indeed Liverpool more favored statistically, but underestimating the opponent will be disastrous

Any injury from the international break could always causing the odds up and down , I'll just grab these good odds while it last!
Also a draw @3.85 seems good though, I'll just consider this.

Don't be too sure. Despite the fact that Manchester United haven't been at the top of their game this season doesn't mean you should write them off. Right from the onset, Liverpool vs Manchester United fixture has always been a tough one. Hard to predict the winner. Even though Man Utd are struggling against smaller teams, they might man up and draw Liverpool - Even win at old Trafford. I'm a Liverpool fan and this fixture is a major hurdle for us at the moment.

Na ah ... they have nothing now, no fighting spirit.. no players with good attitude.. no confidence.. just nothing, they're fucked up just like Chelsea in 2015–2016 .. they were at the worst season having a bad start and ended the season on 10th just like Manchester United now , the difference is that United fighting to avoid relegation Grin.

I'm pretty sure there is no chance for Manchester United to win this game especially with the current liverpool form 8/8 WIN ! Not even with 10 man liverpool on the pitch.
