Watching the Manchester United-Rochadale match and seeing how United are struggling to get a goal with all the possession we enjoying, does this team have any forwards that can deliver a goal that will give us some hope when we meet Arsenal this weekend???

Edit: Greenwood just scored Roll Eyes

I've taken my mind off from betting on any Spurs fixture. Last CL match I lost my parlay only because of that fixture. It was all going perfect until those defense mistakes. Still hard to believe that they were having hard time facing Olympiakos in last fixture.
Just a tip:

Always avoid cup tournaments when betting or bet them separately. Teams tend to field their youth players or 2nd 11 when it comes to competitions like EFL. So i wasn't surprised when Spurs lost. I even expected mote upsets.

I also usually avoid betting on weekends prior to Champion's League weekdays. Teams tend to rest their best players for the Tuesday/Wednesday encounters.
The chances of big teams wining is always high irrespective of the lineup. They are producing one of the best youth system in the world of football, thats why they sell more players to other league than any other. Tottenham cases are exception and the recent record proves the team is doing fine ATM. That was the first loss for pochetino with lower league in his career, like 80th position to the top teams in premier league.

I always follow English league matches and always see which team is less optimal and which team consistently wins. And I am now shocked after seeing the English league temporary standings at this time, Sure enough 5 points difference liverpool and man city. They remain competitors for a number of seasons and it's Liverpool's time to be champions this season.
In last season Liverpool was leading by same points and suddenly they choke and lost title now we have very long time and fight is still one between these two giant clubs now no one can join them for title race and most of clubs are struggling I am really looking for spurs to give fight but they have not good enough resources to do this.

Just competitors for the previous and current season. In 2016/2017, neither Manchester city and Liverpool were competing for the title instead they were battling to retain their spot in top 4 finish, ending the season with 3rd and 4th position. In 2017/2018 although city won the league their major competitor was Manchester United that ending the season as first runner up.

Liverpool and Manchester city rivalry just become a house hold event of recent, So far Liverpool are the favorite although just 2 bad games can turn the table around in matter of minutes (180minutes to be precise). Maybe we should wait for the outcome of the match involving both clubs before we conclude although I'm routing for Liverpool as they do deserve the title.

Spurs out, shouldn't be too surprising to see 1 more out tonight. AFC Bournemouth are already trailing at Burton Albion, but I suspect they should get in at least 1 goal to take it to penalties. Chelsea easily up. West Ham need a goal. Wolves up. Aston Villa 2 goal cushion and I've got a Villa/Pool parlay so I'm golden.

@Rikafip of course the league is everything. But fans AND players love trophies too. Ask City. They want the league but they'd give it up for CL.

Ask Watford. They'd give up last season's highest-ever finish for the FA Cup.

Week 7 Premier league
Very much awaited, Man United vs. Arsenal.
United men lost points in the previous week or match, in contrast to Arsenal who can still get full points. Man unite really started a bad start this season, they were not even consistent at all every game. Sometimes it wins and sometimes it can be surprisingly defeated by a mid-table team. Well, we hope Man Unite doesn't lose points again this week.

Unexpected disqualify of Tottenham yesterday in EFL cup.
They lost to Colchester in penalty shoutout.

And last weekend Pochettino was talking about watching his team with winning momentum LOL. They attacked pretty well but maybe luck wasn't their way.

Unexpected disqualify of Tottenham yesterday in EFL cup.
They lost to Colchester in penalty shoutout.

That lost both of my tickets yesterday otherwise I would have won big money as all other big teams won against lower divisions.I just add Tottenham only to make the odds bigger and I regret it because it was a very costly mistake for me.I think Tottenham should have won easily even with the second squad playing against them.

How is it hard to believe they have had a hard time against Olympiakos when you now realize they werent even able to beat Colchester? Sorry but I have mentioned that pre-match Oly-Tot all the team, you guys seriously underrated Olympiakos, especially when playing in Greece...

LOL man... Olympiacos is nothing in the European football.. How do you compare Tottenham with so good players which sustain big seasons with difficult games in Premier League?
The best player of Olympiacos is Valbuena who is 35 years old... There is not any other popular or talented player in that team... And those teams definitely should not be compared...

How did a team that almost finished the league third place last year became so bad this year? I haven't checked the transfers at all but did someone really good left or something? Or someone bad was transferred this year? I don't know the reason and why that would happen but it is weird to see, they were such a great team last year and suddenly they are not doing that well.

Aside from that premier league is premier league, until city or Liverpool loses power or a new good player arises in another team that shoulders the load it will probably end with around the same table this year as well, sure some teams could go up one or two space at top but aside from that it will be basically same, its getting a bit boring to watch the same teams trying to do the same thing, I want to see a big change in rosters a bit to have more fun otherwise its basically same as last year.

I have no words.
Spurs, my team,,, the only Premier League team to not score last night against a small team. And worse we lost to penalty shootout. Could not watch the game since I was asleep and anyway could not find broadcast,,, but oh.

Hope this lets us focus on Premier League.

Isn't Premier League always focus of English football clubs?

From what i noticed through conversations with football fans in England, most of them  think the same-winning Premiership is the ultimate prize for them. Atleast that is my experience, maybe here people from England have different opinion.

Spurs are very unlikely to win the Premier League so I guess their fans are upset that they got knocked out of tye League Cup last night because it was a realistic chance to win a trophy.

That means Poch could leave and take over at United or maybe even Real if Zidane does a bad job (but he's been lucky so far with Barca having a bad start and Atletico just doing as well as Real).

Any fans would love to see their team win something. You can't say that FA Cup or Community Shield is nothing for a club that sits mid-table for every premier league season.

Manchester City all but debunked that idea last season. A team does not stand a better chance of winning one competition of it loses in another, if anything it has a psychological effect on the team for the next couple of weeks.

A team can only do that if they have a good 2nd line-up. City has it, but Liverpool or any other team is nowhere near last year.

I'm literally going to stay away from betting Tottenham for a while except their performances begins to improve, they are have been disastrous in these past few games. They improved in the 2nd half against Colchester but It really wasn't an overall convincing performance.

I also feel Virgil probably deserved the award more than Messi.

I wouldn't say so, Messi also doesn't deserve the award any less and he was brilliant last season, you can't say he deserve it any less because of just one or two bad games in the season. Maybe you just need to check and review Messi's performance last season before making conclusion.
We have to admit that last year, there were many players who deserved this title, because I don't think there were any players who stood out last year, with top scores or winning all titles like Messi and Ronaldo did in previous seasons, it was difficult to determine who won if that conditions hapen, but whoever it is, some of the players on the list have a good performanc last season, even if it's not perfect yet, they deserved it.
