Massive game at the weekend when Liverpool travel to play Man Utd. England’s two most successful teams battle. The outcome could be anything, nothing would surprise me.

It's very hard to predict an outcome after looking at the previous results. However here are some observations I found online:
It was Manchester United’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in December’s reverse fixture that spelled the end for José Mourinho, and thrust Ole Gunnar Solskjær into the managerial spotlight. Now all eyes will be on Old Trafford as the Norwegian looks to extend United’s five-game unbeaten H2H streak at home against their fierce rivals (W3, D2 – in all competitions) in one of the Premier League’s (PL) biggest derbies.
United have won eight of their nine PL games since that loss (W8, D1), netting an average of 2.56 goals per match, whilst conceding just 0.67. However, each of their last four competitive games featured just one team scoring (W3, L1), with only one of those matches producing goals in both halves.
Liverpool’s goalless draw with Bayern Munich midweek made it three stalemates in their last four games (W1, D3), although the ‘Reds’ do have just one draw across their last seven PL away matches (W5, D1, L1). The visitors have netted in every PL road trip this campaign, but are yet to score over 1.5 goals in a competitive away game in 2019.
However, Jürgen Klopp’s side have grabbed the opener in ten of their 13 top-flight away matches - the division’s joint-highest tally ahead of the round. That’s an important statistic considering Liverpool haven’t lost any of the last five H2Hs where they scored the opening goal (W4, D1).
Players to watch: United’s Paul Pogba has nine goals in 12 competitive games under Solskjær - he netted just five in 20 fixtures under Mourinho this season. In-form Sadio Mané (LIV) has scored in four consecutive PL matches.
Stat attack: There’s been over 1.5 first-half goals in 41.67% of United’s PL home fixtures.
Liverpool have scored 54.17% of their PL away goals in the final half-hour.
Three of the last four H2Hs held here featured a penalty.
