So Brendan Rodgers looks like he’s about to manage a team at his level. Celtic is a one team league, easy to win & he was a flop at Liverpool. Leicester is his level.

I loved him at Swansea tho.  But laughed so hard when he was at Liverpool.  I kinda wish he went back to Swansea instead and get the club back up at the EPL.

Rodgers still pisses me off just to look at him. He was a real fraudster, he was never good enough or qualified for the LFC job.

Maybe he got a good agent and some good connections, that's why.  Grin

Chelsea vs Tottenham tomorrow and if I remember correctly in the last few games they have met together there has been a lot of goals between these teams.

I don't see any other interesting game for this week, other strong teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and the Manchesters should have an easy win.

My focus goes to Manchester United as they have so many injured players. Not really sure if their key players such as Herrera, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Rashford, Martial will be able to play tomorrow. The injuries is a big disadvantages for United definitely, but I still want to bet on them against Crystal Palace. With the injuries and will play as away team may increase the odds. At the moment the odds for Unites is around 2.3x, a big odds already for United.
This is something unexpected, many Manchester United players are injured and I want to know what really happened. Do they do exercises that are so heavy that they drain their energy during a match or other factors. I honestly admit that the match between Manchester United and Liverpool last week was very interesting, a lot of drama happened but it was very unfortunate that there was no goal. This week Manchester United must work hard, they must be prepared to play players in a fit condition, not to repeat the incident last week because it can harm the team for several weeks ahead.

Another great win for Newcastle United and they've moved up to 13th position 7 points away from the danger zone, after 2 consecutive wins, the latest being a 2 - 0 win over Burnley, If they can keep up this or at least win their next match against WestHam I'm sure their chances of avoiding relegation will be great. Meanwhile a loss for Cardiff against Everton means a win or draw for Southampton against Fulham who seemed to be relegation bound would see Cardiff drop to the 18th position.

Yeah Benitez is doing a great job at Newcastle without much money, they’ll definitely stay in the PL. Huddersfield won for like the first time in forever, I think they’re effectively relegated though, it’ll take a miracle for them to stay up.

City & Liverpool in action tonight, I expect both to win comfortably.

I really have no idea how even he ended up with the Liverpool job. Some managers, especially in the EPL, are way too overhyped. Imagine Rodgers was at one point linked for the top job as coach of England  Grin

It is not a shock the reserve goalkeeper was pissed, these dudes want to get some spotlight as well, you do not become a football player to hope for a bench position, you become a football player to actually play.

Chelsea now has a big shot at going into the champions league table position again, Arsenal is at 53 points and Manchester united at 52, Chelsea at 50 with one game short (with brighton) means they can have a shot at going above those teams for the champions league, if Chelsea can't fix these issues than I am sorry but they will not be capable of taking advantage of this situation at all.

Liverpool on the other hand is another disappointment, dudes have 3 draws and 2 wins in the last 5 games, they are basically taunting city to beat them for the league title.

Anyway Brendan Rodgers might become Leicester's new manager.  Lmao.  This should be fun.  Grin
According to the bookies, Brendan is the main favorite, followed by Rafa Benitez, Sean Dyche, and David Wagner (former Huddersfield manager). Nigel Pearson and Sam Allardyce are also in the race.

edit* Rumours say that Brendan is set to join Leicester very soon. Surprised he didn't wait until the summer.

No intereting matches today, Chelsea vs Spurs tomorrow is by far the most exciting match. I might take Chelsea win @2.28

^ Both Sarri and Kepa played down the incident but nobody believes them. Whatever the misunderstanding when manager calls you out you get out. No point arguing after your number is lifted on that board indicating the transfers. Chelsea didn't need situation like this on top of transfer window ban.

At least I learned another football rule that day. It seems there is written somewhere that if player doesn't want to get out referee doesn't have to do anything. Manager can't actually force his player off the pitch. However, depending on club politics he can kick him out of the club after the match the has finished  Grin

Exactly.  Maybe they were briefed by the Chelsea board and was told what to say in public to save what's left of the club's image.

From this incident, Sarri is the only that it is going to be harmed. If Chelsea will lose against Tottenham, then Sarri will be possibly sacked as not only he is losing the one game after the other, but also the players do not respect his decision meaning that he has lost control over the dressing room.

I really don't know what Chelsea organization is doing, even to think a goalkeeper believes he can do something like that is the definition of toxic work place and no manager with self respect would ever take job at Chelsea again, I don't care how big they are from now on they will be capable of getting B listed managers, no one like lets say Klopp, Mourinho, pep and whoever else you think on their level will accept that job ever again.

What they decide on the goalkeepers future and managers future will decide on Chelsea future as well, even if they want to fire the manager first they should let him bench and even send the goalkeeper to reserves as a punishment and keep him there for a while, even until the end of the season but that is risky, after that you can fire the manager without a problem.

Looks like they fined him already. If I were the management, I would even just ban him from playing or suspend him even from training together with the squad for a period. The substitute keeper was also really pissed apparently, but it was strange to see that only David Luiz tried to ask Kepa to leave the pitch.

It's not so much about managers who can take the job now, this is 1 player, to me, but how the whole club and management reacts will show how bad the situation is.

Yes there is a rule if the player refused to leave the field of play, play continues. Here is the image from FIFA.

I guess both side Sarri and Kepa is already fine right now based on the news that i read and Kepa has been fined a week's wages by the club.

^  Yup.  That and the two window transfer ban.  'Chelsea to be relegated' prop bet anyone?  Lol.

And Arrizabalaga has cost himself and the club a lot more than he realizes.  What an idiot.

I read somewhere that Sarri has played down the incident, saying it is not no big deal and that it was just an honest misunderstanding.
Although, I think he  could just be trying to let the media stop spreading the news.
