Didn't watch the game, but looks like the Hammers parked the bus and got a point from Chelski! 29% possession and registering 1 shot on target vs 7.

Liverpool top of the league after 6 games, this I have never seen, not with CCity and the Blues nipping at the heels with huge goal differences!

Lost a bet on Chelsea but well worth the result. And now Carabo Cup, will we see Fabinho start his first game? Klopp should still be fielding a strong team even if not all are first choice starters... Maybe Moreno at least gets some game time, poor Robbo needs a break.

Happy times, gotta make the most of it, ya LFC?

^  Even if the Zidane rumor was true, I don't think it's gonna be the right move.  They need to swallow the bitter pill and realize that it's gonna be hard years ahead and rebuild.

But if they really wanted their success to continue post Fergie, then they shouldn't have made Moyes as SAF's replacement (then LVG after him)...  In hindsight, they should have gone for Pep (after his hear long sabbatical) and only Pep imo.

How long do they let Mou stay - whatever he's doing, it clearly isn't working.
I couple of losses and draw at the start of the season aren't enough reasons to sack Mou so I think Man Utd will keep him around until they're actually in a bad spot (like middle of the table). Same thing I said about Poch a few posts above apply here as well, you simply don't have top managers looking for a job, let alone to take over a big team like Manchester United.

There are some rumours about Man Utd getting interested in Zidana...IMO i don't think Zizou is ready to be the manager, one thing is Real Madrid, where he had all the support in the world from the fans, the players, and board of directors, and most importantly, the president Florentino Perez, another different thing is Manchester United, where he will start from 0 (I don't even think Zidane knows how to speak in english lol) without having the massive support and trust from the people around him.

As long as the team doesn't start a losing streak or doesn't do well in the Champions League, Mou will stay. The only reason why they would sack him would be because of some internal issues with the board of directors or with Ed Woodward, otherwise, he'll stay. I consider Mou a top manager, and I believe sooner or later he will fix things up.

Manchester United are going into a dark tunnel 8 points away from the lead after 6 rounds .. It is difficult to explain to and it's creating a lot of rumors about them this draw was their worst game of the season Sometimes big teams don't play that well but gets their three points but they had them in their hands and waisted it so they remain with only one clean sheets from their 6 league matches. While
Liverpool look like an ideal team that they have never experienced in recent years. But the title requires continuity getting it will be priority for them.

I think Man United has to go thru the same thing Liverpool went thru:  Domination followed by years and years of 'finding itself' (if that makes sense, cos the club is at a loss for answers), and rebuilding the club post Fergie.

But if they could win the CL this season out of luck and some belief like Chelsea did under RDM, we could at least see a glimpse of their former greatness.  I feel sorry for the United fans tbh.  I mean the real ones who go out there at their matches away, those who would bash heads for their club, those who sing United songs like they were in church...

Man Utd haven't exactly had a challenging start, either. The only big team they've faced so far has been Spurs, where they got humped 3-0. They've beaten Leicester, Burnley and Watford, drawn to Wolves and lost to Spurs and Brighton. If they continue playing like this, they will be very lucky to get a top 4 finish. How long do they let Mou stay - whatever he's doing, it clearly isn't working.
Yeah, i'm afraid manchester united will lose when it comes with other big teams like chelsea, man city and liverpool. I guess this season will be the last season for mourinho.

Both Manchester are going to win
Cardiff is poor team if City will not win than Guardiola will have trouble to solve
United is playing much better then in first games i think they will continue
Spurs to win
In a case of Liverpool we can only bet when LFC will finally lost first points
His coming game will be good opportunity for Salah to comeback on scoring way
Watford will be most interesting i think

Manchester United again showing signs of not a good football. Six games have passed and no signs of improving. I think it is time for Mourinho to leave Manchester United. He is there from a lot of time now and probably cannot fix things so I wonder why he has not already left.

I knew Manchester United would not win today and did not play it, I simply had an hunch that things may go terribly wrong in Old Trafford just like they did today.

I'll agree with you these same thoughts were there on my mind, there's not even one thing right with the head coach, when Martial plays so well in mid week, he decides to shatter his confidence by keeping him on bench, his transfers choices have been poor. In middle of the match it seemed Manchester United would loose with the way they played, it's sheer boring football and I could feel for sir Alex sitting there and seeing such a pathetic football from the club. It's time for Mourinho to go.

Just when everyone thought Man United is going on a winning run after winning Burnley, Watford and Young Boys in their last 3 away games, United dropped points to a newly promoted team. I knew something was fishy when United odds to win Wolves at home is 1.60. The odds was way too high for United at home against a newly promoted club. I have a hunch that United may not even qualify for the Top 4 this season.

^  That's if he's still around.  I can see him move to Man United in a couple of years or so after Mou's contract expires.  I mean wow...  Poch at United?  Yummy yummy yummy...  I hope Pep's still around at City for that.  Grin

Got a couple bets on today. Took Skybet's Price boost as I usually do of Man United, Palace and Leeds to win at 13/2. Put my free £5 bet on Leicester, Man City and Liverpool to win and both Fulham and Burnley games to end in draws. Not expecting it to come in but I like getting a bit risky with my free bets especially at good odds.

Stupid headlines when I saw something in the news feed I thought Pocchetino was getting sacked haha, turns out he was just saying he could face being fired if they lose to Brighton. But if that really happens then we can confirm Tottenham have a really shit board of directors (we are only thinking it not yet confirming it).

Which headlines?  Can you post them?  And I don't think he 'could' get the sack even if they lose vs Brighton.  They need Poch...  Without him they'd be in football limbo...  Again.  Like they were under Redknapp, AVB and even before those two.

By headlines he probably means some idiot he saw post some baseless speculation somewhere. Wish people would stop calling or speculating for managers to be sacked after they lose a couple of games. Poch is going nowhere win or lose their next game. Spurs could easily win the league within a couple of years and Poch is probably the man to do it with them.

Manchester City vs Cardiff

My prediction: 4:0

City's players are angry after losing in Champions League and they want to show that they are still the best team in the Premier League.

Thoughts?

Indeed, after suffering a defeat against Lyon at UCL, of course MCT doesn't want to lose point in tonight's match against Cardiff City. And if you are very confident about the correct score, why don't you try making a small bet on it? Who knows you are lucky. This gives a good odds I am sure!

I predict that Manchester United will draw against Wolves  Grin but that is only a small possibility
what about Watford? I think this team has good players and great games even though they lost against Manchester United but they have a solid team now.

Tottenham is doing well and there is no need to fire a manager right now. By losing in Champions League game is not a real indicator of Tottenham power. So far in the Premier League they are doing a great job and I think they will continue tomorrow to win again against Brighton. Their focus is more on the Premier League rather than in Champions League.

In fact if they don't get the 6 points in Champions League against PSV they can be considered out of the Champions since the group stages.

It is very unlikely that he'll get sacked even if they lose against Brighton, there aren't many top managers out there looking for a job so it would be wise to keep Poch (at least for now) even if things go from bad to worse. I think he said that to let the fans know that him and his team know that they're in a critical moment and the match this weekend is a must win.
I don't think that Tottenham is fool enough to sack a manager at the beginning of the season especially when they didn't get him any player this summer IMO they are going at least to wait for the season and and then asses what he have done in that season and then decide either they will keep him or sack him if he didn't get any of the goals given for him also for the time being there's no managers out there that are suitable for Spurs that is why it's the best for everyone to wait for the season to end.
