Luis Enrique is rumored to be closer to replacing Wenger than Brendan Rodgers. Looks like Chelsea are also interested in the Spanish manager. Brendan Rodgers actually denied any link to the club at the moment by the way.

Good.  Rodgers would be bad imo.  He's more of a good fit with a club like Everton, Watford and Southampton.
And I hope it's Arsenal for Enrique unless he wants to risk it with Chelsea.  That club seems fickle, with the kind of support they give their managers.  I remember AVB saying that he didn't get much support from Chelsea behind the scenes...  Same with what's happening to Conte today.

But the best would be if Tuchel goes to Arsenal cos Wenger to PSG.  Wink  Then I guess Enrique to Chelsea would be good.

Edit:  Nice Man United is in the FA Cup final.  I hope they win.  That would make 2018 Community Shield so sweet.  Wink

I am expecting City to play for the supporters today. Meaning all out attack football to celebrate winning the league in from of their home supporters. This should end with lots of goals and I will play 5+ or something like that for this one.

I'm expecting them to play a few reserves, maybe cut the teeth for some of the academy kids, while still giving room for Bruyne and Ageuro to try break more records (and give the kids leadership). Should still have enough quality for the win.

Yes, but not today Smiley Today is the day when they show they are the best and then party hard. Rest of the games in the season will probably be used to ease some academy kids into Premier League. Aguero is injured, but I expect all others to play today.

We will see who gets it right. I am really hoping at least Bruyne, Sterling and Jesus play whole match (more than 60 minutes) and get a couple of goals since I have them in my PL Fantasy squad and it is tough battle for 1st place in my mini league Smiley

Arsenal had better just win all their remaining games. It's the least they can do for their manager.

My bets will be a parlay for today's Arsenal @1.48 and tomorrow's Newcastle @3.54 for total @5.24

I'm a bit less respectful of luis enrique, but Enrique is one of Wenger's replacement candidates, especially he once admitted respecting the things that have become Wenger's legacy at Arsenal. A slight lack of Enrique lies with the feasibility of coaching other clubs. Because, since coaching Barcelona B, AS Roma, Celta Vigo, and Barcelona, he was a new success in Barcelona who already has a mature team and a collection of star players.

Really glad that Arsene Wenger is moving on from Arsenal, finally the time has come. In all seriousness, he really did have great accomplishments with the club and will be without doubt be missed on the bench. I'd like to see a top class manager on the bench, someone like Diego Simeone or Carlo Ancelotti. Off-topic with Arsenal, I have to say, hats off to Mohammed Salah, straight up beast. 31 goals and counting, if he is not in the talks for a Balon D'or or that "The Best" player award, I will be truly disappointed.

carlo anceloti this now not job, so big chance anceloti if comapre diego simeone
this now simione still coach atletico madrid, and meet arsenal in  europa league semifinal

West Brom got 4 out 6 points against Man Utd (0-1) and Liverpool (2-2) in less than a week...amazing results for a team that's on their way to the Championship. About liverpool, Danny Ings scored his first goal after 2 and a half years, good for him. Salah, beast. Moreno (and Gomez), shite. Overall, I think the draw is more than fair.

Looking forward to the FA Cup match later today.

Yeah, fair result, can't deny they deserved at least a point after the way they kept on going. Really looked like Premier League quality the way they attacked, to be honest. Liverpool have no excuse, Klavan's a decent defender if he represents his country. Moreno had to prove himself. Ings got a goal good for him but I wonder where his future lies.

Drab draw even with four goals, in the end. Silver lining is Salah's goal towards the 47 goal record of Rushie.

Man Utd v. Spurs FA CUP match today is going to be really intense. I can't pick who could win. However, many will consider Spurs the underdogs and want them to win. Spurs are the darling team of this season, and many claim that they are better than United even though the premier league table suggests otherwise. On the other side, Mourinho needs to win a trophy this season and this is the last opportunity he has. But it won't be an easy task, especially today. Even Chelsea go through tomorrow, it would be much easir, so I feel that this is actually the FA cup final rather than the actual final in May. May the best team win.
It is a tough one to decide who will win the FA Cup semis between Manchester United who beat Manchester City last weekend, in which Tottenham Hot spurs lost to last week. So if you can rate this match up on confidence factor alone then United has the upper hand and Mourinho is a master at these competitions and know how to line up the front three for maximum efficiency.
Harry Kane did score his 26th goal last game too. He is like a shark when there is blood in the water so you don't want to set him on a roll like this or he can easily score two this game just as he did vs Leicester City last year.
And could be on his way to gather up the golden boot.

^  Dunno...  But I like picking United cos of Mou.  I think he has a knack for tourney football for some weird reason.  At least in the past he did...  He's out of the CL in a somewhat embarassing way this year.  Lol.  But still...

Mohamed Salah has scored 31 goals in his league premiere this season, equaling Luis Suarez's record of 31 goals in the premiere league of the 2013-2014 season. Record can be solved, Mohamed Salah will still play and he can still add goals. Great debut for Salah at Liverpool.

Tomorrow we are having the Manchester City vs Swansea City match. Is betting in favor of Man City risky? Swansea is not in the best of form. During the last five matches, they have remained without a win.
It would have been a risky bet should City have been playing the champions league but now that they were knocked out they will be playing for pride and I think a win should come easy as they are playing in front of their home fans  Smiley

Brendan Rodgers was awful at Liverpool. I don't know what the Arsenal management was thinking even considering him for the job lol. I would keep Wenger over Rodgers any day  Grin Well it looks like a bumpy road ahead for Arsenal.

Yup.  But if Arsenal wants to finish outside the top 4 every year then sure...  Go get Rodgers.  Lol.

Anyway just made a bet of what's left in my Nitrogen account.  Lol.  Been losing in MMA, F1 and the last few EPL bets.  Cheesy

Burnley (away) +0 at 2.60 vs Stoke.

Tonight Liverpool will play against West Brom and Manchester United will play Arsenal a few days later. Liverpool may be able to win easily in tonight's game but Manchester United may find it difficult to win this great game. If Mou cannot win the game then Liverpool can narrow the distance points in the standings. Put a 3-0 bet on the win for Liverpool I'll try to earn a profit this weekend.

West Bromwich Albion is in the bottom position at the current standings and they need to maximize their points in the last 4 games. But unfortunately this time they have to meet with Liverpool. Nothing to lose is the only thing West Bromwich Albion can do in this game and wishing for a miracle to come.

I believe wenger is a excellent coach and he should have left arsenal long back, there is no doubt on my mind that he was told he's going to be axed, and he has saved his face. Someday he'll tell his story, but history shall remember him as one of the best coaches ever. I believe the blame for his exit falls on the owners never backing him with huge transfers, selling top stars and the fans for wanting him out. It's a sad day for a football fan, I hope he stays in EPL but I doubt until ManUTd decide to do away with Jose all top 5 teams are set, but with conte unsure will Chelsea take a lead? I hope they get ancelloti it'll be fun or Simone.
