Life, Love and Laughter...
So after a full weekend of fixtures, we ended up with:

West Brom 3 - Arsenal 1
Crystal Palace 1 - Watford 0
Sunderland 0 - Burnley FC 0
Everton 4 - Hull City 0
Stoke City 1 - Chelsea 2
West Ham 2 - Leicester City 3
Bournemouth 2 - Swansea City 0
Middlesbrough 1 - Man United 3
Tottenham 2 - Southampton 1
Man. City 1 - Liverpool 1

Nothing much out of the ordinary here... Only the big "surprise" being Arsenal being so woeful against West Brom... seems like the players want Arsene gone or something, they're just not performing for him at the moment and his job security has to be at an all time low.

Man. City and Liverpool was actually a very exciting game, despite the somewhat disappointing 1-1 scoreline... still, Liverpool remain unbeaten against top of the table teams this year, so if they can fix their performance against lesser teams, they should be able to make UCL next season...

Actually many Arsenal fans want Arsene Wenger leave arsenal right now, because their poor performance in the last 4 matches. I think Wenger will leave or sacked like Leicester City manager.

For Man City vs Liverpool match, yes it's really good match. Both teams play offensive and both teams are really unlucky though, many chance to make goals but the finishing always bad. 1-1 is a fair result for both teams. Liverpool always good when play against top teams, but always terrible when against lower team lol.
I think Wenger deserves to leave on his own terms. The amount of good that he has done to the club while using so little of the funds from the club, its incredible.

No underperforming manager should be made to leave on his own terms.  Maybe it's exactly that special treatment that's making him and the club complacent.  I mean it's been over 10 years already, and now they might not even finish in the top 4.  He's like this guy who doesn't wanna leave the party.

Quote
It's only the last couple of seasons when he was forced to buy big names as fans were getting restless about the recent results.

Isn't this all supposed to be for the fans anyway?  Imagine if you were a north Londoner who had been watching Arsenal for the longest time as a family tradition like most of them are.  The true supporters deserve better.

Quote
Wenger has stated tot he media that he has made up his mind about him staying or leaving and will let everyone know very soon. Most likely that he departs from the club but Arsenal will need to sign a good manager which will be hard since the star players like Sanchez are also planing to force a move out of Arsenal.

Sanchez is leaving anyway without Wenger and especially with Wenger.  They had a falling out.

But personally?  I would looove for him to stay.  Seeing the Gooners being tortured for another two years is plenty fun.  Grin

The idea that Pep has to bring in 7 - 9 new players for Man-City to click is ridiculous. Of Pep's purchases... Bravo and Nolito have had no impact at all, Stone is not as reliable yet and for Gundogan... injuries have not given him a chance to be a pivotal player. IMO, Pep as a manager has to be a bit flexible in how he can get the best of the squad he has with a bit of changes, not anything as radical as is being suggested.
claudio bravo , the only goalkeeper in the premier league that has not make a lot of saves since joined to manchester city ,
he play like have no idea to be a goalkeeper lol ,
now the real chance to keep chasing the premier league title are on tottenham side ,
two london clubs on top of the table!
Claudio Bravo is a useless purchase made by Manchester City, they will regret having to throw Joe Hart and prefer to buy C. Bravo. The result of the purchase is up to now purchased from Barcelona goalkeeper is not able to compete even not being able to keep his goal from conceding a single match.

Pep want a keeper who can use his feet well who can pass fluency as their midfield, that's why he throw away joe hart. Bravo use his feet well and an okay goalkeeper before coming to city, don't know what happen but it seems like he lost what a basic goalkeeper do. Im actually annoyed he didn't give caballero earlier chance as he can't make things worse than bravo.

no matter how the conditions of the players Man. City should have qualified coach Pep as the world can take advantage of existing players to get achievements with the team at least they have to be always consistent play to win in every game. but, in the game against Liverpool, last night proved that Klopp is still superior to every meet him, and Klopp managed to steal points at Etihad Stadium so they can maintain the fourth position of the standings, although they are still outnumbered play.

It looks like this year is the first time Pep without a trophy, this proves that there is nothing special from pep.. He's just inherited a team that was already great, barcelona already excellent when frank rijkard left and Bayern is already great when Jupp Heynckes's retirement.

Well, so I guess pep us exposed now ? He's just been there for a season and people should give the man the chance to perform. Let him repeat this same abysmal performance next season and then you can criticize him but leave him at least for now.

What does he thinking that it will bring him title, i don't think so. I totally agree with you on opinion that he need to be flexible then he can make great team.
true this season all the new commers didn't do anything significent especialy for the goalkeeper because this seaon i only so him cost the team points but also Hart is noot the answer for their problems as he is making big mistakes at Torino i'm hearing that City targetting Real Madrid keeper Navas as Real Madrid also looking to replace him also i think that City needs another Defensive Midfielder as Yaya is getting old Gundogan is not Realible anymore also Fernando and Fernandinho wouldn't help much if they played alone in the midfield

Expectations are too high, previously the Citizen was able to UCL semi final, but this year??? More than 150 million does not mean because this season City will be out of top 4 and in next year play in European zone, not UCL.. shame with Leicester pep...

I agree with you that the expectations were high for Man City this season but I don't agree with you that they will finish out of the top 4. I still think they can achieve this as Man City is a better team then Arsenal and Liverpool this season and should be able to hold them out and finish either 3rd or 4th. The danger in my opinion is Man Utd who have been in great form as of late and it may well come down to the Manchester Derby to see who finishes in the top 4, now that would be some sort of game to watch.

The Manchester City team were not playing this badly when Pep arrived, His style is so rigid and he is so arrogant that he refuses to change it to benefit the team. He will continue to buy players with no good results unless he tweaks his style of playing. Even Barca are playing less of the tiki taka. Pep must adapt or be left behind.
Yes, I also felt changes Manchester City game when Pep arrived. Pep is very ambitious to make Manchester City playing like Barcelona or Bayern Munich, he sometimes puts the same formation. Buying a player I think is not the right choice for Pep, except the goalkeeper because Manchester City do not have a goalkeeper who had a good performance. Pep just have to adjust to the Premier League, especially Manchester City.
all i see is players playing hard to get with PeP , these days its justified that if players do not like their coach all the do is under perform
Pep saying he wants new players will bring the fear factor into his team and they will be forced to put in more effort
these are purely mind games

I agree with you on that, it's just to get the team to perform and if saying this will get the results I think as a coach I would do the same to get a good reaction from my team.

He started great but fell down quickly. That's interesting because normally you'd expect the exact opposite.

in premiere leage is six team with same quality player and quality in fianance, chelsea, manchester united, arsenal, liverpol, hotspur, and city
another six team all team in premiere leagu can get dificult to big six team
example last match arsenal lost from westbrom wich albion

i must says that i agree with your opinion because currently Manchester City not playing better such as last season even humiliated results from Monaco make Guardiola not too special as the coach even yesterday they cannot win against Liverpool however champion league zone maybe will the highest achievement for him in this season i guess

Not just MNC but almost all teams have same issue MNU late started to play seem like need little fuel in team, but all this fuz use Chelsea who is leading the table. Leicester is the worst team this season they are struggling to remain in premiership so it wont just be money in this.
